Gary Neville is a legend. I am 51 and watched united all my life and Gary's defiinately in my all time best united team. Hes so under rated Neville.. probably because hes humble and not showy.
I think there IS a fear factor, because of the enormous weight of expectation from the fans and the media. English players in this tournament have looked petrified...frozen by fear. This explains why they pass sideways or backwards and walk with the ball....too scared to be seen to lose the ball so take an easy option. I think the team needs more psychological support.

I live in Germany. Trust me, German players are under intense pressure from their national media to perform. I'd imagine it's the same in Spain, France and Italy, hence this view that English players play under more intense scrutiny is just a nonsense....
The vitriol is different though, what the likes of Beckham went through after getting sent off in 98 way exceeds what any German player was subjected to, even Zidane in France after 2006.
I live in Spain and there is no way there is more pressure playing for England than Real Madrid,but Bellingham has played well so he hasn't faced the criticism that he would if he wasn't performing.
