Yeah, when seeing things like this and more extreme examples like the Korean Nth rooms and the Telegram ring of child sexual abuse (and child gore) material being coerced out of young frightened girls really shows how prevalent this shit is. 260 THOUSAND people were using that Telegram channel to purchase and create material where children (mostly children, but also grown women) being raped or drugged, spied on, kidnapped, and forced to main themselves for fear of having their own sexual abuse material released to the public, thereby running their lives and driving them to suicide. Two hundred and sixty THOUSAND people.

While that is an issue this is a larger one and this dude is profiting off it and actively supported by the platform he streams on and is verified and built a community around it. Back in primary school I remember there being a rumor that caused 2 girls to be completely isolated from everyone because someone said they were prostitues and would let you pay for sex. This kind of manipulation happened to me personally in high school, and like I was basically my highschool's irl lolcow and looking back on myself 10+ years ago i genuinely just wanted people to like me and to this day i can't really make lasting relationships and these type of people genuinely just don't care about others. I get that many men aren't like that but my god my lived experience says otherwise. Adult men (22 - 45) gave me more attention from 11 to 17 y/o than they do now (and they abused me to sen csam). This week I turned off a true crime video about an underground community in Korea that blackmailed young girls into producing extremely degrading videos of themselves. It was just too awful. And I thought “Wow. Korea has some messed up stuff going on…”

in my opinion, saying “most men won’t date children just because it’s illegal” isn’t that absurd of a statement for a few reasons that don’t necessarily entail men being p/dophiles:
1. the patriarchy has made it so that women are seen as more “valuable” the purer, innocent etc. they are (the whole body count discourse), there’s a general consensus that women should be hairless not to be considered disgusting etc. etc. basically, attributing childlike behaviors to adult women.
2. research has shown that men care more about physical appearance than women. men usually date women they find attractive over women they find interesting. the most important thing that separates a girl from a woman is their mind, i personally wouldn’t enjoy a conversation with a 13yo as much as a conversation with a 22yo. men most likely won’t care either way as long as the girl’s attractive.
3. i’m sure if you went on the streets right now and asked a bunch of men “why would you never date a child?” their first (and maybe only) answer would be “because it’s illegal”. i, personally, wouldn’t date a child even if it was legal because i don’t (nor do i want to) engage in abuse of knowledge/strength/power in any context. because men, in a patriarchal society, weren’t raised to be or care for victims. that’s the woman’s job. every jobs where kids or “weak” beings (ie. sick individuals so hospitals, etc.) are a majority are expected to be ran by women. when you don’t care about “lesser than you” you certainly don’t care about *why* they’re lesser, you just care about you being better. they’ll never make the extra step to understand nor care, they just won’t bother. knowing there’s a jail sentence at the end of the tunnel is enough.
i don’t necessarily believe that all men, or a majority of them, are p/dophiles or have p/dophilic tendencies and i don’t think that anyone making that claim (men don’t date children because it’s against the law) think that either.

Seeing the way this man manipulates these children is disgusting. He knows they will look back on this with disgust and maybe even blane themselves for it later on, even though it is 0% their fault. because they are kids having fun on site some of them under the influence (seemingly willingly or not unfortunately, another horribly sad reality of this video) and they see a confident adult dude who they want to impress so they go along with whatever he says. It is horrible the way he hears their ages and sometimes they even repeat it and then he coaches them through saying they are 18. Just for him to then post explicit videos and even get their contact through snap. It is vile. And i want people to know that as a man (because i know there is probably a sizable amount of hasan fans who believe most men would do this kind of stuff if it weren't for laws) every word that comes out of this man's mouth makes my stomach physically turn in disgust. I feel for the victims of this man and probably the victims of numerous other people on kick who do the same type of content that sit at a couple dozen viewers rather than a couple hundred. I hope they can find the help and support they need to get past this.

i think what chatter at 24:35 was talking about when they said that ‘a lot of men’ are only held back by the law they didn’t mean that a majority are consuming cp, but that many want to but never will. when the nth room was exposed, one specific channel called the doctors room had 15,000 viewers and that was one channel out ot hundreds or thousands. it was exposed that there was over 260,000 people in at least one of these rooms which is 1 in 200 men in korea were consuming extremely violent revenge cp.
even though that isn’t the majority, the fact that it is a significant portion of the population is horrifying. the more easily accessible these things are, the more people are willing to commit these crimes.
