I moved to Philadelphia in 1989 and I've been going to Indian buffet restaurants since my arrival. A place called Tandor used to play music like this in the mid 90s. I would eat by myself and gain a spiritual enlightenment to the point of tears. The owners have changed 30 years later and now the Indian music is derivative of American Hip Hop with auto-tune and terrible contrived beats. I miss this music.
