I saw Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and party in 1993 in Granville Town Hall in suburban Sydney, Australia. It was exactly like this - unbelievably powerful, like being witness to magic. the audience was totally transfixed, totally hypnotised by this performance, which went late into the night. Undoubtedly one of the greatest concerts I have ever seen.

You should have seen the face of the Pakistani man at the corner grocery store when I told him that I find very beautiful the voice of UNFAK. A man of my age. We were totally agree on this evidence. His eyes were saying: "God bless him !". We had a few seconds of silence in total harmony, deep admiration and respect for UNFAK. ☮💟

I am a fanatic of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan saheb’s singing, since I ever came to know about him some 30 years back and not a day passes since then without listening to him!
As per me, he is the GOD of singing. No one was like him before and no one can ever be like him even in several more centuries to come! I salute you Sir, in full reverence and respect, and will keep listening to you every day so long I live!

I saw Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and party in 1993 in Granville Town Hall in suburban Sydney, Australia. It was exactly like this - unbelievably powerful, like being witness to magic. the audience was totally transfixed, totally hypnotised by this performance, which went late into the night. Undoubtedly one of the greatest concerts I have ever seen.

You should have seen the face of the Pakistani man at the corner grocery store when I told him that I find very beautiful the voice of UNFAK. A man of my age. We were totally agree on this evidence. His eyes were saying: "God bless him !". We had a few seconds of silence in total harmony, deep admiration and respect for UNFAK. ☮💟

Well there is a sound amplifier (they are using microphones) and some sound mixing probably too, but I agree it's an amazing Qawwali.
