I just love the fact that you are doing what you love, we get to watch you, and it is getting all of that lead out of the rivers. Plus you show us your collections once in while.
Life is good, and you are one of the best people in it.
It's not about the bullets. It's about the history, and the "find". The tenacity to endeavor. Keep it up!
Thanks Beau! When I come home from work and see you've uploaded a video, it genuinely makes my day. Thanks mate!

That bug on the doohicky is a predacious diving beetle. They bite hard like a crawdad.
So nice to see you back on the river

@18:08-Hey Chigg, you forgot to say "hold your breath" and I almost drown! You need to be careful man or else someone could get hurt!🏊😨😵
glad to see you back at what you do best good luck hunting can't wait to you find another Treasure Trove of coins
That "Grommet" was a part of a flag, possibly retired after being shredded by bullets or weathered. The most likely put the flag to rest near the river and missed it. so actually a pretty rare find. I'm part of The BSA and we hold these ceremony's for the community on outings
These are the vids I love the best by you -river hunting for relics - keep up the great work !

I have been researching my genealogy. The majority of my maternal grandfathers family were from West Virginia. Many fought in the civil war, and I found out one was a pow during the war. I enjoy watching your videos.
I am new to metal detecting. I have an AT Pro.
I wish you could invite Exploring Alabama on a river hunt he would be so proud to find all those bullet's!

Please open a museum or make your collection open to the public! I would travel far & wide, and pay admission, to see it all!

Paw Paw trees used to grow with such abundance along the rivers here in SW Michigan that we have a town named Paw Paw. Which is a nice memorial since the rivers were so polluted with industrial waste for so long that I dont believe theres a single paw paw tree left in the town that bears their name.
Pancreaticdefect 😓
It was a Pernacious Water beetle...and yes they do bite...hard...and they can get very large. I worked on a fish farm for 9 years...and they were a constant source of pain.

Thanks
hopefully one day I'll be as skilled as you
Hohner was the first harmonica maker to mass produce the harmonica and he started supplies to the USA in 1868 and they had woiden inserts then too, so I think you are right that not from civil war period . sorry I had to go and Google 😲😲😲😜😂😂😂
thank you for another lovely video😆
Cool upload, Beau.
Love your vids
Nice button. New Jersey 3rd Calvary had such buttons.
just wanted to say love ur vids
Amazing
Fantastic finds Beau . hope ya find a cannon ball or buckle or eagle breast plate soon maybe even a bayonet
Love finding bullets. It's always an awesome feeling. Do you think that one bullet that is half white and half lead color is because the creek in low allowing oxidation on half the bullet? That's what I am thinking, but pretty cool. It's amazing when you find bullets so shallow. I always think how can people have missed them when I am in areas that have been hunted hard, but I guess sometimes with flooding silt is moved etc.. Cool button and spoons. I find a lot of bullets as well, but just got my oldest coin yesterday in the river and 1801 silver 2 Reales coin. Didn't even really check it out until I got back to my truck because we had to leave for the day, but will have it in my video. Awesome vid and appreciate you sharing....Ron
I love your videos
Hi, Just wanted to comment on the harmonica reed. I do find them on Military Fort sites in my area 1863 to 1868. Don't know if this helps, but soldiers did have the harmonicas for these dates.
nice spot in more ways than one :)
9:27 looks like a water-heater from à camper maybe 😉
I got my first Garrett 250 this week. Your videos have me wanting to head out south and find some Civ relics! I discovered today that I need a pin pointer BAD! I gotta know... HOW MANY CIV BULLETS DO YOU HAVE? HAVE YOU EVER COUNTED THEM ALL?...I just noticed you filmed this one on my birthday! That's why I picked up my Garrett!
Yes your the man chig!
