@@comicvault01 May you please go into a deep dive why white men LOVE the father son dynamic with black men specifically. I have noticed that Flash fans like to omit Iris West from being the daughter of Joe West and basically steal her father and give him to Barry. Why are they trying to remove the black father from the black home? I am not American, I am African and I have noticed media erase black girls from having the entire experience of fatherhood from media but are overjoyed when these black fathers are adoptive parents to white kids. I find it strange
@@comicvault01 honestly it depends on what you want from the show, I enjoyed the first 2 seasons especially the second one and was ok with 3 but I despise everything from 4 onwards.
Great video. Glad to hear someone feel about Legends of Tomorrow the same way I do. Not only do I think Legends is underrated, I feel like coming off of season 2 where it feels like they found their footing, the show continued to get better as it's sibling shows regressed in a lot of ways, and ultimately proved itself to emerge as best Arrowverse show in my opinion when it was all said and done. The fact that they brought back Damien Darhk, a character that always felt out of place on Arrow but fit like a glove on Legends, not only continued his storyline from Arrow, but expanded and deepened it, but they also managed to actually somehow find a way to redeem him by the end through his own daughter no less. And having his final scene be with Sara brought everything full circle in a way that felt satisfying. For all the show's greatness, that may undoubtedly be one of, if not its greatest accomplishment. LOT is the very definition of a show that danced to the beat of its own drum and no matter how whacky it got, it was never boring, keeping itself along with the audience constantly on its toes and you couldn't do anything but respect that. It was beyond disappointing that it didn't get to end the way it wanted to especially since they were clearly at the finish line, but at least we got to see where they would've ended up. Long live the Legends of Tomorrow!
I have to disagree a few points: 1. I don't think each season got better. Season 3 was the peak of the show, and I felt seasons 4 and 5 dragged their feet a lot. 6 was a step up, and I thought 7 was my favorite. 2. Nate became very unbearable in season 3. His inability to accept that Amaya left to preserve her granddaughter's existence at the start of the season was annoying, and the fact he tried to hit on Ray's mom just to make her jealous was terrible. He got better in 4 when they gave him a story that wasn't a forced romance as he tried to make amends with his dad. But it also felt like the show kept forgetting he has steel powers that when he lost them in the series finale, I shrugged and said it wasn't like he was really using them anyway. I also hated that they used him to be put in these forced relationships. First with Amaya, and then the very next season he loves Zari when just episodes ago he was still heartbroken over Amaya. 3. I was not a fan of Sara being Captain because it wasn't done right. In the season 2 premiere, she showed no signs of being a good captain, as she was obsessed with killing Dahrk, and putting the mission at the stake. Then, all of a sudden, in the next episode, she becomes the capable captain who has everyone's seal of approval. I'm sorry, there was no build-up to it. I would've preferred Jax because, at least in the premiere, Rip was getting him to know the ship inside and out so he can take care of it if he is gone. That felt like he wanted Jax to lead in his place. 4. Lastly, like other shows, it felt like the characters were dicks and never apologized. In seaon 2, despite all Mick did for them, they still didn't trust him all because he thought he was talking to a hallucination of Snart that turned out to be really him and manipulated him. Yet somehow, they thought it was Mick betraying them. And they never apologized to him. The very next episode Sara even pulls bull crap and tells Mick they trusted him when they admitted they didn't. And Rip was right about Mallus being this dangerous threat. In one episode he possessed Nora and resurrected Dahrk with all his memories. Yes, he got agents killed, but that just proved how dangerous Mallus is and they later saw how dangerous he was and never admitted they were wrong to doubt him. Even in that same episode, Rip tells them that Mallus is growing strong because of what they did in breaking time, and their response is saying they'll help if Rip gets the TB off their back. So, essentially they're saying they'll only take responsibility for their mess if Rip does something for them.
Legends was serious in 1st season Then in 2nd season they were like(we didn't expected second season so lets enjoy little) 3rd season, what people loved this... Now enjoy ❤❤❤
i say it with all the love I have for Arrowverse, Arrow and Supergirl were my favourites, Flash I wathed till season 5 only and I merely started watching legends and almost watched the 1st season and then it got pulled from the streaming service here in India and still isn't available, and even though I knew about Legends and watched its 1st episode around 2 years back, just watching this video I realised that Rip Hunter is played by Arthur, Rory from Dr. Who, its like he got inspired by the Dr. and started his own journey by stealing a ship that can travel through time and space (just like TARDIS) from a time police sort of agency (just like Time Lords of Gallifrey), I mean I guess the casting directors saw Arthur and went like, "Yupp, this guy is perfect, plus has the experience".
Legends writers & producers basically said to Warner Bros & DC in the later seasons "We can't use the DC characters anymore, then fine we'll make our own."
You are crazy if you think it never declined in quality. Like all the shows it had issues, namely the plot got worse as the show went on, not as bad as Supergirl or Batwoman. However the only show that stayed watchable was Arrow.
I believe legends declined in quality in season 4, but then Season 5 is one of my favorites of the whole series. So it was more of an up and down for legends.
Supergirl got better over the years/seasons and arrow had a few missteps but always bounced back and ended great. Legends became like Friends with super powers and that was annoying. Batwoman got better during 2-3. Flash is the only one for me that never fully recovered after season 3/4. Don’t know why. It never had that WOW amazing factor again like during 1-2. Shame though
1: Don’t like how they got rid of rip as captain(or most of the rotating cast thing after Nate) 2: show should have ended earlier so they could get a proper ending
Enjoyed Season 1, loved season's 2 and 3, 4 fell victim to the season 4 curse in its own way, 5 was middle of the road but I fell out from that. I mean looking at the greater arrowverse, I can appreciate why the legends were not really involved in Elseworlds but Crisis on infinite earths? I know they gave the original 3 screentime and a voice cameo of snart but could have done more with the team on that account especially as their season 5 started just after this timeline wise. I feel one thing that was a bit more missed was not having some sort of proper link to Supergirl, I know a critic from that show was that the hero cast got too big - one of them moving over to the Legends for a brief while may have worked. I know up until crisis that would have been difficult due to the show being on another earth but post crisis - when the supergirl team size was scaling up more so and legends drifting into dealing with aliens...it feels like it may have been a missed opportunity. I would have also loved to see some sort of interaction between the legends and the jsa from stargirl but i get why that would have been a longshot. At the end of it - I feel like season's 2 and 3 did well with the comedic balance but when the show really went supposedly full magic in season 4 - the comedy was dialled way to high and it just didn't fit imo.
i would like new vehicles. maybe a larger boat like a ship for the ocean or trains or a flying ship for the end. faster than slime blocks but they can’t push any blocks maybe
Legends still is my favorite Arrowverse show. I did have some complaints with certain characters changing, like Rip Hunter between season 2 and 3. And the show being done dirty by the network by just cancelling without a proper send off. I have seen some complain that it was too wacky, but that's what made it great and more in line with how odd comic books can be.
