Idk man I feel this show fell off HARD after season 3 lol. I hated how it became a parody of itself and was no longer all that connected to the larger DC universe. I would’ve killed to have seen characters like swamp thing or the metal men but instead they make a bunch of random OCs and Constantine style stories. We peaked at the legion of doom imo

Nice collection! Flash is my favorite DC hero of all time, so I always love seeing his books in others collections! And in case you didn't know- the Rebirth run you show at the beginning and the DC Universe at 6:35 are part of the same run! They're all written by Joshua Williamson, DC just dropped the Rebirth branding after a while. The trade you show off at 16:26 is the final volume of his run, so you'd just need to grab Volumes 4-14 if you want everything. Also if you want to read some good Batman comics where it's early in his career- I recommend Batman: Year One, Batman: The Man Who Laughs, Batman: The Long Halloween and Batman: Dark Victory. You can find collected editions of all of these pretty easily. The Long Halloween is personally my favorite Batman comic of all time!

Finally I’m seeing someone giving Legends of Tomorrow some love! This show was amazing! I feel like the reason it didn’t get as much love as it deserved was because it was ahead of it’s time. Heroes were still being portrayed in a more “serious” way, while legends had an almost satirical take on it. Specially with its occasional fourth wall breaks. I think if it came out now, it would have been more appreciated as a show.

My only issue is Rip just dipping out of the series after first season he comes here and there just to die

It was definitely the best but I do believe it did decline in quality, I dropped it a few episodes into the Hoover early 1900s season. It was less interesting, and the preachy "woke" storylines were getting too hamfisted and annoying (before you get your knickers in a twist know that I liked the genuine such stories from earlier seasons).

I think Legends was the most consistent all the way through know one season was so bad that it made you stop watching and it had some genuienly interesting story telling/pacing choices towards the end

Sara is probably the best leader in all the arrowverse cause she was actually in charge yes Ava did help but her help felt like a partnership and not them trying to force her in the team like they did Iris.

Legeneds of tomorrow imo is the only show that got better the longer it ran as much as I love the flash s5 and s7 of the show broke me. Legends realized what it was the reject of the arrowverse and found the line of taking itself seriously and not. It went from replicating Arrow and Flash to becoming its own thing.

Honestly if the show ended at s8 I would consider it the strongest season out of 5-9. The writting was better than what we have gotten in a long time even if i wasnt a fan of all the mirror stuff

The legends as a team and as a show did the lord's work. They not only were able to keep their form within their own continuity but were also able to accommodate every other show (i.e. every other team as well) with programming schedules as well as flexibility of casts

I loved Legends - it, and Black Lightning, were my favorite. The moment which solidified it for me was in the first season when she’s talking to a young Stein who says his work will get him a million dollars, and Sarah says, “A WHOLE million dollars? 🙄 “ 🤣

but this is also the big problem every season has like 1 2 episodes thats amazingingly amazing. but like season 1 2 all episodes where good with 2 3 episodes thats amazingly amazing. but for like season 5-9 90% of the episodes hits the floor the writing shatters apart wich means when we get these episodes that really nails it. it just feels empty cuz thats extra isnt there cuz the struggle as we the veiwer has to go trought when the writing hits the floor. an amazingly episode can only shine if the other episodes are good/great and season 5-9 lacks that compltely sadly. specially if annything season 9.

I love I finally found a video talking about later seasons of the flash and NOT trash on anything and everything about it! One of my favourite episodes has gotta be s9 e10 which I believe is the one after this one!

Honestly, considering how Ray’s story wraps with Nora, I think the time he spends with Kendra in the late ‘50s was a very important romantic advancement in his story after both of his previous relationships ended in death. He was opening himself back up. It wasn’t much of a focus after (and frankly I don’t even know if they had that time in mind when developing his romance with Nora) but I think it’s an important connective piece in keeping everything Arrow established cohesive with what Legends did with him.

When legends got cancelled; I vowed to myself that I will one day buy the rights to the show, and give it the ending it deserves.

legends is genuinely my favourite tv show and it got robbed out of a finale and ended on a cliffhanger

Nah I'm sorry, Stein IS the saddest death of the arrowverse. Crushed me when i watched it live.

I don't see this episode as filler because it sets up the season 9 episode "It's my party, I'll die if I want to"

since I follow a lot of superhero content it's not a surprise to see related stuff pop up ... but it is a pleasant surprise when a smaller channel comes up! :) super good content, man. hope your channel gets the attention it deserves!

I absolutely adore Legends. The dynamics between the characters is awe inspiring. For a silly superhero show, the relationships are actually well developed and they feel very believable. It's easily one of my favourite shows and is my comfy show.

Except not really, it was kinda poorly written, just like how the entirety of the show since season 1 and with many character assassinations. The entire plot of this episode happens because barry stops to talk and not cuff the criminal with the machine. Like a complete dumbass because that is how trash the writers are. Consistently shit writing 👍 Something a little fun I want to point out that the show doesnt is how trash Barry is after becoming 60yr old after aging 30 in one night. He would be 60 and yet can barely run in a straight line at first yet Jay Garrick is most likely around 60 and is still a solid speedster. 2nd encounter with criminal old man, barry stands there and talks after chester tells him the old man is holding a dangerous grenade Barry quite literally sticks his hand out and tires to CATCH A DANGEROUS GRENADE instead of moving out of the way LMAOOOO And I guess Flash was gonna to severely injure him since he was about to him with a lightning bolt if his speed didnt stop due to his aging???? Alegra has a teleporter btw so there is no reasons why Flash should keep using his speed, especially after he is told it increases the rate he ages at. Another thing I love is that when Barry doesnt use his brain and make dumb decisions, he rarely gets called out for it by the people around him. Doesn't really make the others look too smart as well. Complete shit episode and it is filler slop

This might just be me, but imagine James Gunn revisits Legends of Tomorrow because to be fair, time is the most varying thing, and then have one last episode to actually close the show.

It's hard to believe or accept that flash had good intelligent writing let alone in the latter stages of the series. But I agree there's always this one time the writers remembers they are professionals and actually does something with the characters than silly plot dramas and 1 dimensional conflicts

After season 3 this show became a gag show and there was no plot to take serious

For me personally Legends of Tomorrow is my favorite show of all the arrowverse overall. Seasons 2 and 3 are absolute peak television.
