I've come to the conclusion I either need to move, or stop trying to sell stuff. I've tried a bunch of those "Guaranteed to Sell" projects where you make $1000 from pallets... and to date I've made $60 lol. I do it more for the fun though since I'm old and just like to relax and make things, if something sells, cool, if not, I have a burn barrel and can spend the night sipping Jager and playing my drum for even more relaxation... like now, I've got 15 Halloween lantern boxes, do I hang onto them until next year or what ??? Great video and thanks so much for sharing, I might just make a table like this for my house... not 5, just one.
@@TDSheridanLab I missed my shot at someone dumping their festool by me, lol. are you gonna be using it on some slabs and cookies? If so, grab the mikita or the festool for the depth
Brother, I just saw the whole video and the end product. The end was kinda heart breaking but let's be honest, you look at these tables and how much would you pay for them if someone else made them?. Even the nails look kinda crooked, you can do fine woodworking but it's not just heart but attention to details. You will recover and do better, sorry to be that guy but someone told me the same thing a couple decades ago when I started doing metal work and my stuff sells and now I'm looking to vombine metal and wood furniture. Hope to see you grow.
The style grew on me as the build progressed, but would I buy reclaimed or pallet wood furniture? No, this was a challenge video to go on the trend of copying @morleykert. I figured i had a shot because i did more then glue them all together and run them through the planer. Leading up to christmas i got some interest but overall it's been a flop. In the economy i should have assumed as much. Thanks for watching.
@@TDSheridanLab after soaking them for 24 hours you have to wipe them dry due to the store bought vinegar is about 95% water. And I hope this doesn’t discourage you from making more beautiful things in the future
Sorry they didn’t sell. Your hard work shows in both the tables and your video creation. Nice work man.
Thank you, it was a fun project. But I probably should have only made 1 and then tested the waters.
Halcyon was a great choice for the tables! Great job!
Thank you, I really enjoyed the product and will be using it in future projects.
they were very pretty. i loved the contrast with the walnut as well
Thank you. I’m just surprised I wasn’t even low balled. That’s almost a guarantee on Facebook marketplace.

nice tables, sorry they didn't sell.
No worries, I’ll come up with more ideas for content creation. Hopefully they do better. Thanks for watching! Any thoughts on track saws?
