Effortlessly Clean Up Your Microsoft Teams Members Using Power Automate Flows
Thanks for the hands-on review. Do you know how much power it draws? I'm wondering if something like a BLUETTI EB55 Portable Power Station could power it so I don't have to drag an extension cord around? Thanks again!

If you buy M1 air today you would be fine up to 2030 if you do really some light stuff like photo editing, office works, mid level coding. There is not a single thing in M3 air which you will miss in M1 let alone M2 which has ssd and thermal issues. I have two MacBooks M1 air and Macbook pro M1 Pro. Both are fabulous in all aspects. Macbook pro M1 pro is currently cheaper than Macbook pro M3 which has less ram and GPU power than M1 pro.
Not if you want safety, security updates, and apple support.
Couldn’t watch because of the annoying and repetitive music in the background
Sorry, thanks for trying
Very nice ! do you know if the service can be used through PowerAutomate ?
Depends on what you want to do with powerautomate. If you're looking to automate the PDF field process then no. If you're looking to move signed documents and to send notifications then yes. Thanks for watching
Nice! But at the 2:15 mark when you were tying the string around the stake how did you know how high to go? I didn’t see you place any bricks to make your mark or to use a measuring tape to make your mark. Thanks.
I did it with math. The blocks are 4inches tall and the first one needs to be half below ground. So in my case it was 6 above ground for my height. The side of my house is super flat so it was pretty constant for the length of the run.
@@TDSheridanLab great! it wasn’t noted in the video so I wanted to ask how. Thanks.
Some are asking to show the leveler when placing the string up
The level line is set at the height that corresponds to your height based on the pavers you’re using and how many rows you’re doing. In my case 1.5 brinks are above grade so that’s 6 inches above ground.
I, completely beg to differ. I got my M1 MacBook Air for $649 brand new. I can use it for 2-3 years before I upgrade, and get close to what I paid for it back selling it used. I would say that is pretty cost effective actually.
Technically you got a brand new computer that will go end of life in less than a year probably. I’m referring to official support, not will it turn on. After your official support is up there are a bunch of ifs on your resell opportunities. Once that thing goes end of life it’s not worth more than $100.
@@TDSheridanLabdefinitely exaggerated. Less than $100?
Go put a serial number in on Apple’s trade in calculator. If it’s past end of life it’s $100-$150 depending the model. It’s more of a loyalty discount than anything else because a dead product isn’t worth anything.
@@TDSheridanLab oh yeah, if you go to Apple for sure. Trade in at best buy? $490 base model. Its gonna be a while before they are less than $100.
SPF, DKIM, DMARC... so confusing
Yep, nothing like having to bandaid a 20-30 standard for new threats! Thanks for watching.
Could you please create or point me to a video on how to add an email to the power automate flow?
I don’t have one, but I’ll work on it over the next couple of weeks.
Thanks for the point!! I didn't think about this.
No problem, thanks for watching!
Nice Job!!! What Kind Of Pavers Are These? And Where Did You Buy Them? TFS!!! 😍🙂
Home Depot and links are the description
Hello. I want to receive the Ms forms responses in sharpoint having the number of response and the date of time of submission? How can I do that? I follow all your steps and all is good until now but I’m stacked on this issue. Could you please answer?
Since the flow is running at the same time as the responses are coming in. All you have to do is show the default created column in Sharepoint. The created timestamp in Sharepoint should be with in a few minutes of when it was created in forms.
How many bags of paver base you used for 45 ft?
That’s a good question. Originally I made a raised garden with these pavers and ordered 20 bags of paver base. Home Depot sent me an entire pallet that was 60+ bags. I think I had to purchase ~20 additional bags to do 3 sides of my house. Home Depot has a calculator to help sort it out. Thanks for watching!
Thanks. Very much helpful
No problem. I’m glad you found it useful!
What length is the electric cord?
4.7 meters or 15.4 ft
what is wrong with your audio ? music continues, voice is interupted ?!?
Sorry, early days of you video editing
What the hell was the purpose of the sting line
Height reference line
I don't see any lookup fields in your List. Do you have a video addressing that? I pull responses from my form and I need to use "ID" when it's a lookup table. But I can't figure out what to put in there! the only reponse I have available is "ResponseID", which doesn't cut it.
Thanks for watching! This solution is built off of processing the form submissions as they come in and eliminate manual processing. Not bulk importing. For a bulk import you could create a manual or scheduled flow that loops through all the responses and if the response id matches the that an item in that column in sharepoint skip it, or handle it how you want it too. I don’t have a dedicated video for that but I’ll add it to my to do list. Thank you for the idea.
when you have to use a ladder, then the robot no longer has a purpose. you can also wash the windows by hand.
Depends on the size of the window, height of the window, height of latter, and how comfortable you are with heights. It’s not for everyone, but there are many use cases.
I had been working on this on my own for HOURS! Couldn’t not get the flow to run. I followed along with this video with minimal pausing and a few rewinds. I got it!!! This was super helpful! Thanks so much!
No problem thanks for watching.
great video, do you have one with the same automate flow but win an email notification everything that someone fill up a form
I don’t have a specific video for that, but you can make a simple flow to do that or build it on to the end the flow. The action to use is send an email. You may want to use a dedicated service account for notifications. Thanks for watching.
Do you know if it works on rounded windows?
Depends on how tight the window is. The robot moves in straight or diagonal directions. Kinda like an etch a sketch. So if it’s a big circle I probably won’t have total coverage. If it’s small rounded corners that make a 90 degree angle then it may work.
I've got a Synology Ds1621+ and I'm planning on getting 2x Iron Wolf 510 960gb. On the compatibility list Synology only show their branded NVme's. Would the Seagate still work?
I can’t say for sure because I don’t have a unit that came out after that change. To actually block non Synology hard drives. Synology would have to do it in firmware. Which is a big undertaking. The big brands like Dell and HPE only block non manufacturer’s hard drives on their top tier storage devices($100k+). On their servers if you plug in a non Dell/HPE drive they throw up errors saying it’s not official but still allow you to use the drive. On Synology’s web site they have the following wiggle room statements. “Works Best with synology drives” “Synology will not provide technical support if your device is not on the Synology Products Compatibility List” I can’t verify this, but most likely standard hard drives still will work but you give up some support and warranty options in doing so.
An excellent professional review. My house is a three-story house and my windows can be accessed from the inside as they have screens which must be removed first to assess the outside of the window. Does this window cleaner robot clean solar panels? If you do not know l can contact the company. At my age it is dangerous to climb a 20 feet ladder or get onto the roof to access flat skylight + solar panels atop the 3rd story. Thanking you in advance, Mr. Mattos
Thank you for watching. To answer your question. I don’t know. In theory I’ve heard solar panels are quite strong so I see the potential. With that being said I don’t know what changes when you compare solid exterior windows to the multiple layers of a solar panel. The unit is very light, but it uses vacuum suction to hold it to the window. So I don’t know what strains would be put on the solar panel with suction compared to normal wear and tear. Sorry I can’t answer the question, but hopefully this adds some context in your research.
It looks great =)
Thank you, glad the door is up it makes such a difference in that space and to block noise traveling.
your american windows a re crazy... why cant you open them indoors to clean...
Some of mine you can and some you can’t basically the ones you can’t open don’t make sense to open. Thanks for watching!
I just don’t see the point.. by the time you set it up you could have cleaned the windows already
Idk if I can wash 3ft x 5ft in less time it takes to stick a robot to the window and press a button.
Thanks for speaking directly and plainly. This was very helpful to me. I'm wanting to do ...wait for it...woodworking and record that, so I'm at the very beginning of that stage and poking around. Good luck growing your channel!
Thank you for watching and the support. In that environment it can do ok, but there is a lot tweaking that needs to be done pre and post production. I got the settings dialed in on the gopro with garage lighting and color grading in adobe. But if you skip one of the steps it’s noticeable very quickly. Adobe has some prebuilt Luts for gopro footage, but to use them effectively you have to white balance the space to 5800k brightness and record in the natural or flat color modes. I’ll have a barn door build coming out in the next week that uses this filming process. Overall up leveling auto and video is generally good, but if you save money on the camera you MUST spend money on lighting and editing software.
does someone know if I can use vinegar with it
I haven’t tried it, but multiple other people have commented that they have.
Exc explanation, thanks!
You’re welcome and thanks for watching
Do you believe in future proofing a Macbook? My current dilemma is I am getting my second MacBook as a responsible adult. My first one was almost ten years ago. A 2013 15inch MacBook Pro 8gb and 512 storage in film school. I did not know anything about it in film school back then, but my college only operated with Macintosh. I maxed out the ram and storage year after year until it wrecked itself in 2016 the complete broke itself physically (the battery burst and the trackpad cracked out). I learned so much from this experience. Pay more now or pay twice later, but being a college student back then, I rarely had money. I am getting back into digital arts “slowly”. I own a iMac at home I use for general everyday task. For my laptop to purchase, I am looking at a M2 or M3 16Ram and 1TB or a M1 Pro 16Ram and 1TB. Thoughts on helping me choose for the long run? I also understand no technology stays forever, but I am looking to get atleast 4-5 years out of this. Maybe trade it in to upgrade to stay knowledge of future tech as well.
Yes I do, especially now with Apple. There isn’t any after purchase upgrades any more. Part of the performance boost the M series has is because everything is soldered on the motherboard. For Apple it’s buy it right the first time or buy it again later. on the MacBook Air I’d max out the ram if you want to get 5-7 years out of it Regardless of usage. On the pros try to scale it with a little extra based on your usage.
@@TDSheridanLab this makes perfect sense. I have one more question for you. I know you mentioned in your video her win your opinion why the MacBook Air M1 would be bad in 2024, but what about the people who purchased the maxed version when it came out. I found one for $975 with 16gb Ram and 2TB in “very good” condition and one for $945 with 16gb Ram and 1TB for $945. Would these be a bad idea investing in now seeing that they may be good for three more year apple software support wise, but also the chance that Apple may be still developing software for all M series by then still being so new?
@365tonkatruckfit2 device support doesn’t correspond to different spec levels. The base model m1 air will loose support the same time the maxed out model does. As soon as hardware support drops, software support follows. I have a number of iPads at my day job I’m replacing now. They run one app but the hardware is past end of life and the iOS is capped at iOS 15. The app vendor dropped support for iOS 15. So now we have to replace some iPad to restore functionality
@@TDSheridanLab you are very informative, Thank You. Is it just true that these devices cannot be future proof and that people only upgrade, because these are upgrades they need in that moment?
Turn on the vacuum bro. 🙄
It is on. When it’s off, the mess is double the size.
Holy shit haha @@TDSheridanLab

NordVPN Made me lose my roblox account that I spent alot of dollars in it
How long will it take you to wait on a window to be cleaned by the robot? You’ll take all day on 1 window. Plus you still climbing a ladder
Each window only takes a couple of minutes. It’s a linear thing, the larger the window the larger it will take. My largest windows took about 5 minutes each. Also my assumption is as a homeowner, you already have a ladder. Thanks for watching
Thank you! Question- what if my form consists of selections (either 1 option or multiples)? I followed this video, but my SP list did not populate the selection columns, how would you approach this?
Is there any errors in powerautomate? This whole automation is just a fancy copy and paste. So if source and destination exist as long as they are linked it should go through.
Thanks. I was stuck because I made a simple mistake. Easy to follow your video. Good work!
Thank you for watching
Hello! In my office we are trying to come up with a ticketing system to manage our workflow. A program like Power BI would probably be overkill for our needs. 3 of us process 20-40 action items a week, individually. We have between 3-5 different types of actions to manage. Someone has suggested that we use Microsoft Planner as a platform for this. I’m not sure that Planner is the best fit for our intended use. Rather than planning singular unique projects would need something to use over and over for repeat requests of the same type. I believe planner has been suggested for its relative ease of use. Could you tell me what comes to mind to serve this type of function?
Hello, Thank you for reaching out! Let's go through these items. Power BI is a reporting and analytics tool, so it won't help you keep track of the work. It will just make reports about the work. Planner is a lightweight project management solution that primarily uses a Kamban style approach. It can be very verbose within its feature set scope, but Microsoft made sure not to have it over run their stand alone paid for project management software, Microsoft Project. Planner competes directly with project like Monday.com. Overall, based on what you've said you need to scope the type or types of work you do and determine if a ticketing system with automation and scheduling capabilities is the best fit or a Project management solution that allows for templating and possible resource management. Most of my direct experience with ticketing systems is from an MSP point of view which is probably overkill for your current scenario. If I was in your shoes I would look into the following products. Ticketing Systems FreshDesk ZenDesk Project Management Tools Microsoft Project Monday.com ClickUp Then see which ones line up the best. If cost is the main driver, some of the options above have free options, but once you get into task and/or Project templating that usually interduces cost regardless of the platform. Thanks for watching
Thank you for the thoughtful response. I will look into this options. Greatly appreciated. @@TDSheridanLab
No problem glad i could help@@Kindness808
Checking files in and out is the only logical way to work. Anyone who seriously thinks that multiple people editing the same file at the same time is a good idea needs to think again.
It depends on the stage of the file and its purpose. Official process and procedures definitely needs file controls. Collaboration and planning on the other hand can be more fluid. Thanks for watching
🎉Thanks I almost got it. Is there anything to add to this tuturial for the Forms survey to write into an already populated List? That would save the "XLOOKUP" phaseand the errors that can arise, let's say if we have an initial situation of a given asset, and we want users to update the status as time goes by. Then Power Bi will finish the job and plot all this nice real time data stored into List and life is beautiful. Thanks for reading so far
The thing is, not being supported with the latest software doesn’t mean that the lifespan is ended. You can still use it for a very long time with an “outdated” software if you just need it for the very basic stuff.
Can and should are very different things. In the case a $200 price over a 5 difference should be a non issue if you’re looking to maximum lifespan.
Hi @TDSheridanLab, this is a great tutorial. When the record is added to SharePoint, it doesn't bring over the user who submitted the form in the 'Created' field in the SharePoint List. Is there a trick to this?
The created field is determined by who made the list item. Since the people who fill out your form probably don’t have access to the list or if it’s an anonymous form then the licensing can’t transfer. Also if you’re using a service account then the created field would show the service account. The best thing to do is to create additional column like “form submitted by” and update the flow to capture who submitted the form.
Does it need to be permanently connected to power during cleaning? Then why does it need to be charged before use?
Battery time should be from 30 to 45 minutes
The battery is only for emergency situations where you loose power while cleaning. The primary source of power for the unit is being plugged into the wall.
Thank you. This was exactly what I was looking for!!!
Your welcome! I’m glad it helpped
It’s Daylight SAVING time!!!!!
Just like anyway and anyways
How do you spilt responses into seperate lists?
You would have to build out the logic of based on the options/values from the form, route it to a specific list. Or you can build out views in one list for the different functions depending on your situation.
Hello & thanks for the great video. Is there a way to automate a form response into an EXISTING sharepoint list (where data/other previous entries already existed)? What would be the suggested unique Response ID to use? Thanks!
Response id is the unique id from the Microsoft forms side of it. You can port the data into an existing list. All you have to do match the form data to the correct columns in sharepoint.
