Great vid Jerry
Those are amazing I want one now
I had considered buying it, but now I definitely will. Thanks Jerry.
o// nice i love it
Thanks for sharing man ! This is awesome! Love from INDIA
Really GREAT video Jerry! Hueforge is a really cool program and process.
I bought the lifetime subscription in Canada I got the coupon for 228 CAD in free filament. I got the filament like 2 days later. Pretty good deal. Now I just have to figure out the program.
Great video! You went ALL IN! Love it, Jerry!
I just D/L'd software/bought license.. can't freaking wait!
Awesome , Congrats.
Thank you for another great video. This diffidently looks like something that would be easy to sell.
I have printed a spaceman from Printables and then I took the plunge and printed a "real" picture. It worked great. But what I've found is that you only have to slice once in Bambu Lab P1P when the filaments are selected. You do not need to slice the picture after each filament change. This also eliminates the need for the M600 command that you might have seen in the first HueForge tutorial. Time passes on.
damn that is soo beast !!!! i notice some ( outline ) are raised and for the dog is all flat . that pretty darn awesome is it all from Hueforge ?
The dog is slightly raised...they did the layers thinner which allowed for less dimension.
Thanks for some great info, I have just purchased HueForge and am trying to convince myself to buy a Bambu P1S with AMS, I think that it’s likely to happen.
You can also do this with a regular 3D Printer..you would put a pause where you wanted to change colors, swap them on the printer and proceed.
Is this to clean the nozzle when switching between colors, as to reduce waste? Intead of having an ugly blob of gradient filament, just print a picture. What a great idea!
Yes on the Bambulab X1 Carbon it purges filament and wipes nozzle when changing color.
only thing that puts me off getting the software is they OWN the copyright to your work. not happy with that. but its awesome what you can do with it. nerys did a good video on the copyright on what you print. etc
The creator of hueforge has talked about this. The copyright is not what you think it is.
@@TheRilo98 then they need to reword everything as nerys was up in arms about it. with the way its worded. but i do love the software. its been a couple years since i used my fdm printer for anything fun. as i am all resin these days. and this software so made me want to dust off the old fdm printer. :) i have been waiting for something like this for a long time i used to do something like it but was so overcomplicated without software that i just gave up as i do not code. and this is just perfect and again its made me want to play with my old fdm :) so has to be good. :)
I did the same thing, purchased the program, but so far have just printed the designs from Printables. I have had a lot of stringing so decreased my hot end temp, now I have a jam. Have you had any problems with the print? The results have been amazing.
No issues at all as seen in video.
@@3DHP The problem was my fault. I made the stupid mistake of forgetting that I still had a .6 nozzle on the Bambu and it did not like the print being sliced as .4. I am also trying some 3rd party print sheets that are treated as high temp and had my bed temp at 70 c with the door closed.
The filament was melting in the cold end and jamming in the extruder
@@woodwaker1 I used to print pla with the door closed when I first got the X1 Carbon, but soon after left it closed with no issues. bed at 60 c.
People on makerworld giving away 3mf and the stl files.
Can you apply all color changes and slice only once as with prusa slicer?
Yes.
They finally have a working Mac software just downloaded it
Awesome thanks for letting me know.
I have massively improved this process. Here's my secret: I print a 1mm thick, filled outline of the artwork I'm working with, then I use my color laser printer to print the art, then Modpodge the print to the printed base. The results are AMAZING!
i followed the instructions but it never ended up stopping to allow me to do a layer change..
Why its flat, can u print a real 3d action figure like
This is a different type of printing, pictures. I have done tons of statues.
Shame it is not ported to Apple... ☹
