Ok, the stylus keeps popping out and I researched and spent literal days trying all kinds of tips. I have found the best solution and it works every time. Get the pen adaptors that have a screw that tightens. VOILA! No more popping out in the middle of the scoring operation. Genius! In lieu of that I would design in Silhouette with broken cut lines, then just use the basic cut operation. This works even better because you don't see ragged cut lines when folding the box!
Do you have the maker? Maybe you need something with more pressure? The maker uses a different tool that scores a lot better than the scoring stylus. Unfortunately the Cricut explore air 2 can only take the scoring stylus
As far as I know there is no way to really adjust the pressure of the scoring stylus. Whatever material is chosen, the Cricut automatically adjusts the scoring stylus. Maybe change the pressure of your material settings? Not sure if that’ll work

Thank you for this tip! My stylus started popping out so I stopped using it and started using the wheel. Just order the pen adapters!!

So my cricut is cutting all the way through but it is not scoring? Any tips on how to get the right pressure?
As far as I know there is no way to really adjust the pressure of the scoring stylus. Whatever material is chosen, the Cricut automatically adjusts the scoring stylus. Maybe change the pressure of your material settings? Not sure if that’ll work
My machine will not let me use my scoring wheel in clamp A. I prefer a stylus wheel over a plain stylus. Is there a workaround for this?
What machine are you using? The scoring wheel is only made for the Cricut maker, and the Cricut explore air 2 can only take the scoring stylus.
Do you have the SVG for this, or is it only for Cricut Access?
