NAVARASA!

A prominent portion of Abhinaya(expressions) in a classical dance form is NAVARASA. The inclusion of the word 'RASA' is enough proof to validate its importance. One can say that RASA is an experience the dancer on the stage transfers to the spectators if the theme is emoted properly.
NAVARASA translates to the "nine emotions" that is to be experienced by the artistes on stage and the spectators viewing the presentation.
