    Wonderful and well structured. As a fan of Kung Fu and Eastern martial arts , I appreciate your well structured and highly informative video. If to recollect well , all the five masters have started with a singple way then graduall learned a more movement based and ending up with a comprehensive system within their general approach, Wit Sun Lu Tang, subsequently covering al the three internal styles to declare having mastered a complete knowledge. Wel done, Paul,68
    P.s. A Chinese master speaking of internal styles said the following: Wing Tchun is the tip of a lance, Pa-qua the cetral portion of it and Tai chi Chuan the end of a Lance.

    For instance, Dong Ying Jie and Tung Hu Ling had real skills but the current lineage heads who I studied with like Tung Kai Ying and Alex Dong had just the superficial Taiji and zero Push Hands skills. How did we lose the Nei Gong even in the lineages??? 😢

    Wing Chun was known to be founded by Ng Mui a Buddhist Nun. She met a young woman Yip Wing Chun & taught her a "Nameless Form" which had to be Siu Nam Tao. Judging by what I learned I believed other forms were formed by Future Genarations of the art. Leung Bok Chau.was taught by his wife ,Yip Wing Chun & he's The 1 who gave Wing Chun its name. The couples taught their nephews & they went on teaching future Contributioners the art. Even today, Wing Chun is still Evolving by The Masters of today because of its simplicity 👌.

    @Typhoon911 4 месяца назад

    As a Wing Chun practitioner of the Pan Nam lineage, I would like to set the record straight. The legend of Ng Mui being the founder of Wing Chun is nothing more than a myth. The true origin of Wing Chun can be traced back to the ancient art called 白鶴拳 White Crane Fist en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fujian_White_Crane. White Crane originated in Yongchun County, Fujian. Yongchun is the Chinese Mandarin pronunciation of Wing Chun. When White Crane Fist was introduced to the Cantonese in Foshan (most likely on boats), it was known as Wing Chun Bok Hok Kuen (White Crane Fist of Wing Chun or Yongchun) it was later shortened to Wing Chun Kuen.

      just watch old karate videos, they break wood by thrusting the tip of their fingers into it. these days hardly anyone can do it even the most successful karate fighters of today couldnt do it. people used to practice everyday and condition their body to be sturdy and turn their arms and legs to be weapon. some karate masters walk around red light districts to fight everyday so in other words in the old days martial artists put their art to the test. unlike today most masters just learn the form and never really know how to use it. so yeah same thing happened to kungfu and most martial arts in the world

    • @thefryingpan951
      @thefryingpan951 4 месяца назад

      ok bro thats because back in the day they were using break away materials, until people started calling them out for it then they stopped. I dont believe some masters would go around red lights district just to pick fights, not like they're willing to risk it all just to say they're potent.@@Adiarby13

    Anytime a style that is designed for actual fighting steps into a sports area to "prove itself," it's already lost. There is a MAJOR difference between bare knuckle anything goes fighting and stepping into any given ring with gloves. You have to recognize this and be aware of the differences.
    One of the most eye opening scenes in the IP Man movies was when a kung fu master fought a boxer despite never having seen boxing before. The boxer wins. One of the reasons for the win is the edge the boxer had by being in the ring with his gloves on. This incident reminds me of a boxing champion who challenged my Sensei. My Sensei refused and ducked out of fighting this man for months. The man eventually caught my Sensei and literally put him in a corner and told him he had no choice but to fight. Literally with one blow, my Sensei ended the boxers career right then and there. True story. DO NOT let your ego get the best of you!!!! There was a REASON my Sensei ducked out of fighting this man, and it wasn't out of fear.
    The moral of the story: Respect sport fighters for what they can do, but realize that there is a WORLD of difference between bare knuckle "anything goes" and what happens in the ring.

    Im Chinese, and I can say that Chinese Kung Fu is utterly useless as a form of combat. Dont get a black eye going around doing your kung fu if you dont know any better.

      @@leetin5638 those who had sent their kids to martial arts schools or enroll into one, they often tell how good they are at it. But time passes, what they teaches are only the movement, the postures, the steps. But most of the time they wouldn't or couldn't tell you the purpose of some moves. Then every year there is wushu tournaments, mainly those who are able to do those moves well, they selected them to go display their forms. Time to time the teacher would gather to change some of the movement for a nicer moves. What happens here on my personal opinion (I could be wrong for my thoughts) they are forgoing what was taught to them and changes the martial arts into display of their forms. And who performs more beautiful than the previous.
      They aren't teaching self defense, but teaching how each individual going up on the platform to perform, how to do a 360 turn, 540 turning jump, so that the schools can win awards and Fame.

      @@mr.cookie7308 there aren't magic tricks but "masters" trying to fraud their ways to money, a money earnings industries where students came to learn wushu but was taught dancing. You can go on commenting extreme remarks saying that they can fly and catch bullets. But these fake masters were a product of their first teachers who stray from the path to teaching real stuffs to teaching half hearted wushu which eventually leads to beautiful dance moves.
