As a Villa fan and just for a bit of context, our defense this season has been absolutely shambolic.
Yeah we have been awful in defence for maybe 12 months
I’m
With you on that bro it’s out weakness atm
@@richardevans3555 It's like we gift a goal every single game. We need at least two to win. If we can cut out the mistakes we will do well again this season.
We’ve still got a way to go but I’m loving every second of it right now
Feels like we concede goals that shouldve not been conceded. Silly stupif goals
What if I told you that Aston Villa have always been a traditional top 5 club?
Before yeah but recently no
@@ibrahimnaadhiya5348 "recently" includes "always," so actually, yes!
Noone was sceptical when Emery came in. We were all amazed that we could secure such an established coach.
I couldn’t believe my eyes. He was by far my favourite coach outside Villa, I couldn’t believe Villarreal’s story… or the fact we got him!
The fact Spurs are classed as Big 6 is hilarious.
Same for united if ur taking current form, and same for arsenal if ur considering trophies.
Who'd u replace em with
@ No one. 🤷 I don’t know why it has to be a Big 6.
Im a Villa fan so I could say Villa & Forest have a claim as European champions but whats the criteria?
Im a villa fan for life sorry but i would say spurs are in the big 6 my friend
I mean they consistently finish in the top 6 which is what it refers to
Leon Bailey was bought by Dean Smith not Emery.
Sorry but this video was a load of rubbish. I was only able to watch the first 6 minutes before having to close it.
If making a video on a team, please do your research. Leon Bailey was not an Unai Emery signing, he was there when he arrived.
The clips are completely out of sync with the voiceover. E.g. 2:10 “as the season progressed” assuming you are discussing the season in which Emery arrived, so why have you got a clip of our team in the championship from the 2018/19 season?
Also there was no reference to how our game plan is ‘evil’ in the first six minutes, despite the title.
I’m all for accounts promoting our team, but only if done properly. This video didn’t really make any sense and some of the misinformation was just lazy
its wrong because the script is probably chat gpt
Wrong to say the atmosphere was tense and fans were sceptical when he first arrives. Villa Park was buzzing with optimism and we knew, given Emery's history, what a big difference he could make.
Nottingham forest not settling for less
Until they sell players and are in more competitions 😂

Great video, great editing and a great watch!
The masses are striking back at the elite. Forest, Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford, Fulham, Palace, Newcastle and of course Villa, most of them once yo-yo clubs between the Prem and Championship, are now highly competitive and - as a group - getting better season by season.
Within the next 2 years Everton will be challenging for a top 6 finish. Man Utd and Spurs in particular take note
The problem comes when One of those clubs needs just One more player (to Cover injury etc) to get over the line and financial rules prevent it. All whilst the likes of Utd can spend what they like even without already having CL football.
@ Having money and spending it wisely are 2 different things. Man Utd have spent gross just as much as Man City since SAF retired (over 1.6bn gross?). And in the last 6 years United have spent more than City. But with very different outcomes on the pitch for the 2 clubs.
Up the toffees ❤
@@Exostars77-A I agree and have often made the same point for differing reasons.
However with Chelsea back at it, the dream of CL football for those clubs becomes difficult again.
Take my club (Villa). Last season come January, We really fealt like We needed a few bodies in just to carry us over the line. The players were clearly getting exhausted. We put literally everything into getting Rogers ending up with an £8m purchase that will rise to £15m. It didn't feel like enough and in the end We did crawl over the line to top 4.
This season We've had to loose 2 of our best players in order to be allowed to get the numbers of players up but We haven't really improved the quality. City will get better at some point even if the league is beyond them. The likes of us and Forrest may need a 5th spot for CL. If a big injury hits, either set of owners would themselves gamble in January if they thought a (just say) £50m player would get them over the line for CL. However they won't be allowed to do it.
It's why the rules exist.
@@outofthetrash5925 Yes, I agree. Sides breaking into the top 6, and striving for top 4 need 2 things. A very good manager and owners with pretty deep pockets. To compete for the Top 4 and compete in Europe at the same time you’ll need a big squad without too much of a fall off from usual first team starters.
Chelsea can really go for the PL and keep their players this season because their first team is effectively playing one game a week. The other half of the squad is playing in the Conference League and League Cup. Means that when called upon for the first team, squad members are match fit. Means you can rotate and rest people when necessary, without a massive fall off in quality and performance.
As n arsenal fan who loves the Villa i believe he Unai got the perfect english version of Villareal n Sevilla
VILLAreal seVILLA and ASTON VILLA
Was this generated by ai? I am a Villa fan and I am delighted with our progress under Emery but half of what was reported was inaccurate. Last season we benefited from Man U, Chelsea and Spurs being chaotic to hit top four. Our defence is still shaky. Having said that we are now a team that can compete better than in many previous seasons. I will also mention the club now monetises everything to the detriment of the fans with many being priced out of watching them week in week out. UTV.
It is definitely AI generated in some way.
There was a random clip of Hull city in the middle of the video lol.
AI, no question about it
I don't think anyone can ignore the affect that FFP / PSR is having on the 'big' previously free-spending teams. Their squads are now aging and stagnating somewhat.
Was only really Aston Villa who had to sell their best two midfielders in Douglas luiz and mousse dia by due to PSR BS
This is nearly all remarkably non-specific waffle. And it seems to be oddly timed.... like it's a re-issue from a year ago?? Villa this season in the Premier League have been pretty disappointing. They over-performed last season, weren't able to upgrade the squad much over the summer, and are now crumbling under the additional burden of Champions League football. They don't look anywhere near challenging the top six this time around.
What are you talking about, yes we had a poor first half of the season but we will be top 6
Sobbing on the Tyne yesterday as they were smacked about by a rival for the European places
@ hold on we had a man sent off, we are not rivals for European places last time I checked you’re not in the champions league this season? The season is not over yet, so don’t start counting your chickens, we all know Newcastle can bottle it against anyone, so calm down have a look at your trophy cabinet as no living Geordie has ever seen the toon lift a trophy
@@Jgf802 getting a man sent off is your own fault, try to pick players who don't attack their opponents next time. we are ahead of you in the league of course we are competing with you to get back into Europe. You're struggling with the extra games just like we did last season.
So what is evil about it?
emery didn't sign bailey
I think our current gane plan is to concede the first attempt on goal, and to frustrate the life out of the fans.
Assnal fans will dislike this
What’s going either Kyle walker at 9:51 😂
The Big 6 is a bit of a misnomer tbh, it should be the Big 8
Liverpool
Man Utd
Arsenal
Chelsea
Man City
Tottenham
Newcastle
Aston Villa
Nottingham forest lmao
Spurs ? 😂
@@Jgf802 Brighton and Fulham may be above them at this rate
This aged like milk after the newcastle game. Villas defence are definitely nkt top 6 BUT a couple of defenders and they will be
Bailey was already at Villa before Emery came in.
WTF is this thumbnail. You should change it immediately
Big 6? It's always been the Big 5 plus Spurs. Let's face it, Spurs are and have always been a bit Spursy.
Brilliant video, but you are slightly wrong about when uni. We were excited when we heard he was gonna be our boss, especially after the way Gerrard sadly screwed us. Utv🦁
Emery didn't sign Bailey.
Shame you didn't make this video about Newcastle United who did a similar thing a year earlier, after being neglected for a decade and a half under the previous owner. Rock bottom of the league and winless when Eddie Howe arrived almost halfway through the season, then qualified for the champions league by finishing fourth the season after that.
UTV
All that will happen is that Newcastle, Chelsea, Villa and others will get a champions league spot, then be shite in the league the next year and someone else will take 4th. It means there will be no continuity for those teams and they will have a plucky cup run at best. It is better for entertainment but worse for our hopes in Europe.
"Liverpool link to follow" I guess
Is this an analytical video or an ad for Aston villa?
Until they came to Newcastle and had a big SOB ON THE TYNE
Villa will be lucky to get top 7 this year. Woeful at times
Emery did not sign Bailey
It's only ever big 4 ⛳
Got battered by Newcastle though. 😂😂
The big 6 was never real its generational forest were once one of the best sides in Europe
Yeah and went missing for decades
@ianmckenzie2680 exactly my point the big 6 is a myth
Odd with Coutinho in several clips ....
How is hiring Count Dracula a risk?
Great video. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽Switch the comments off. Itll just be full of nitpicky comments.
VTID 💜💙
This is a terrible video
Such a shit video for an incredible Story!
I fail to understand Emery from a defensive perspective this year. Why was it so damn important to play out of the back ALL THE DAMN TIME when it meant you were giving up an extra goal or TWO every fuvking game?!!
15-20% Long Ball would go a long long way to help Villa retaining Champions League but Emery wasnt up for it. SMH
bros a year late
Automated junk.
Everything about this Video is amateur.
Leicester city are part of the top 6 and they have even captures a PL title.
Óow thats was a few(3-4) season outlier.
Aston villa is an outlier, they must do it for the next 20-30 years to break tge traditional big six.
Unless, otherwise stated tradition is rooted in a long term period
Um, Leicester are not part of the “big 6/sky 6” or “top 6?” That, among other things are what made their Premier League Championship so unbelievable. Trying to tell me Aston Villa don’t have tradition?
City haven't done it for 20 years.
Chelsea have been there or thereabouts for the last 30 before being strongly there for just the last 25.
Spurs as well haven't always been there in the last 30. If Villa have 5 strong years, they won't be an outlier.
Tottenham handed Leicester the league. It was a fluke.
"Traditionally" (i.e. from their beginning right through to the present day), Aston Villa are 5th in the "All Time Top Flight League." They have accrued more total points in the top English League than Manchester City, Spurs, Chelsea and Newcastle (who are 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th in the table).
In comparison, Leicester City are way down in 24th place in the same table which accrues all total points earned by these clubs playing in the top flight (all time), therefore is the best gauge as to what is each clubs typical (or "traditional) performative ranking in the league.
Aston Villa have only NOT been regarded as a top 6 club for just this past decade (ten years or so, out of their 150 year history), since Villa were seriously mismanaged both on and off the field and were relegated from the top flight (currently known as the Premier League). If you are not aware of this fact (and clearly, you are not), that just shows how limited your own football knowledge is. Probably only know about a decade's worth of football (or thereabouts). You need to educate yourself.
