I'd have Lillard be the older version of Shaggy. You could open each episode with him telling his adventures to his grandchildren. This would allow the series to have 70's or 80's vibe. Zoinks!

Since Daphne is a redhead there's a good chance that she will be played by a black actress. For whatever reason they keep replacing redheads with black actors and actress. Even in animation they replace redheads. You would think they would leave the redheads alone in animation.

Netflix should’ve continued the mystery incorporated series, because if they saw the Velma series they would’ve been rich.

I agree!!! I am glad someone said it. They ruined Velma when they made her black. Just keep the original the same. Hollywood, especially Netflix no doesn't have to make everything politically correct!
@@allysonwolf5721Velma isn't even black in the new show. She's Southeast Asian. That show definitely sucks, but the race change isn't the reason. The fact they're absolutely ashamed of Scooby Doo is why Velma sucked.

What I find funny, is the fact that Velma was so bad that it won’t matter if they screw up one little thing in this show, cause now the bar is so low fans are just hoping to see the show at least have common sense and a linear plot and that it.😂😂😂

I’m very interested to see how this new life action Scooby Doo will go. We must have balanced of building the characters from their tropes Jock, prep, nerd and stoner. Without changing the characters to such a point, they don’t resemble their original count. Looking at you, Velma. While we must have a balanced of seriousness and goofiness and a limit the Easter eggs to fit the story. That was the main problem with Scoob too much of a greater Hannah Baba universe.
As long as it will be better than Velma - I'm all for it.
As long as Netflix doesn't botch this up, I'll be happy. Honestly, a lot of all the favorite childhood classics have been redone and made into flops lately, disregarding the live action Avatar series on Netflix cause that's actually okay from the clips I've seen.
I wouldn’t hold my breath with Berlanti studios on it. Once Berlanti was the one solely in charge of all the Arrow spin offs they declined so rapidly in quality it wasn’t funny, Titans, despite having four seasons really was never that good at all, and Power Puff girls was horrid. I mean there is a chance it might be good, but don’t have too high of hopes.

There was once a Velma series but what if they would make a series about Daphne!? She would be like a secret agent in purple! Just like in totally spies Clover Sam and Alex wore their favorite colors too!❤
If they did a Daphne series she should have her 80's persona and the group should be Scooby, Scrappy, Shaggy and Daphne. No race swap or drama involved. We need a break from 2010-present Velma.
I'm only talking about the series about Daphne alone! And sometimes her boyfriend Fred Jones would be there for her! And whenever there is no trouble they go to school together! But what if Daphne would have a rival named Nicole!? She would be very snobby and jealous of Daphne and she would want Fred all to herself! Kind of like Mandy from totally spies! Let's just say this whole thing would be based on totally spies! I used to watch it all the time when I was 16 years old! That was in the year 2003 a very long time ago! And I shall never forget it! Sometimes Sam Clover and Alex are just like Josie and the pussycats because of their hair color and their skin color! Even Mandy is kind of like Alexandra the evil twin sister of the manager of the pussycats! I can be really imaginative when it comes to cartoons! It's just that sometimes being a cartoonist is my destiny! And I wouldn't want it any other way!

loved the CN Scooby movies Hailey Kyoko was a great Velma, she was doing alot of shows back then, the gurls band also opened for i think madonna someone, forgor who......incidentally she's asian and nobody made any deal aout of it
