I had the same misfortune on lap one, where I found myself up in P3, only to be punted into a gravel pit, facing a corner barrier. I however, didn’t manage to make it past P13, and that was my one and only opportunity for that race. Hoping today goes better.
I think a lot of people would quit after being punted into last place on the first lap. This video shows that a solid finish is possible when the situation seems hopeless.
