    I absolutely loved this so much! First time crocheting a tie, made eight! My daughter-in-law's grandma passed away. She loved crocheting so my DIL requested the crocheted ties for closest male relatives. ❤

    So your tutorial video was absolutely by far the best one I came across. I want to thank you very much for taking the time to do this, I have made over 5 different ties using your tutorial and they have all turned out really beautiful and great gifts. You have great talent!
    I am not sure how to post a picture, but if I ever figure it out, I will show you one of the ties I made :-) . Again, thank you!

    Hi Fiber, I have been browsing the net for a good tutorial on tie, for a week now. I was overlooking your tutorial all the time because on the onset the cover pic did not look informative. But believe me, this video is the best I have seen! My search for a tie tutorial ends here. Thanks a ton.

    The most challenging part of this is the video it self. The size and the quality, it just makes it so hard to know what to do next. I had to redo this tie 4 times now But I think I've gotten down the best I can.

      Hello, I put lights in my crochet work all the time. I use intelli flume. they are mini moldable string lights 20 LED steady lights. there are 3 in a pack. Go to www.intelliflame.com. They last for about 10-15 hours. As I crochet I incorporate the lights with the yarn. I also make a square out of yarn for the battery pack. I hope this helps. Happy Crocheting.

    Hi there. This is my first pattern of yours. You mentioned a G hook, does it matter which one? I have a G/6-4.00 and a G/6-4.25

    • @FiberSpider
      @FiberSpider  6 лет назад

      .25 of a difference is pretty negligible so I wouldn't worry too much 😉

    Do you knit socks? , i am trying too turn the heel and I am so confused , watched allot of video's with no luck - can you do a video, in the future , you give instructions so clear :)

    • @FiberSpider
      @FiberSpider  7 лет назад +2

      Sheri Carde I have knitted socks before using a short row heel method - it's not as sturdy aa using the gusset method but it still works. Definitely considering doing socks at some point in the future, just not sure when though.

    • @MandyCloud55
      @MandyCloud55 7 лет назад

      I am just learned , I just don't understand how too turn it , maybe I will consider another method as well after I learn this one , please consider it yes :) thank you for the quick reply , love the crochet along!

    • @FiberSpider
      @FiberSpider  6 лет назад

      No reason why it shouldn't work. You can alter the dimensions according to whomever its for - longer, shorter, wider, skinnier. Play with the pattern if needs be till it feels right for you and looks awesome for your father! 😉🕷☕🕸

    How much yarn & what size hook is needed for this project?

    • @FiberSpider
      @FiberSpider  6 лет назад

      Really not much yarn needed, the tie is very skinny in comparison to a scarf. As for the hook, the smaller the better, but keep in mind you still want the fabric to have some flow and not be too stiff.

      As of yet, not really. I think they are cute, but sizing can be rather tricky. I feel the same about most baby garments, because as soon as you have made it - they outgrow it! Lol. Perhaps one day.
