It is such a delight to listen to you. Impeccable manners, a delightfully melodic voice and a wonderfully kind disposition. All are such a rare thing these days. I find myself listening to these videos even when I am working on other projects.

I remember when the family was told that we where moving to another country how scared and excited I was and what an
adventure we all had places we saw and people we met never forgot the event and never will I hope. A childhood memory moment.

When i was a child (under 10) i was exploring a ruined castle on holiday with my family, my dad told us about battles that happened there once upon a time and my overactive imagination heard the sounds of battles. I told daddy and it turned out there was a rugby match not far from where we were. Boy was i relieved lol x

I like to crochet because I am making something no one will duplicate. It may be a common pattern but I choose the colors, have my own method of crocheting, and I lovingly give or sell it to someone who values my ability and myself.!!

I am loving this little CAL which I started on the 16th of July thank you for taking the time to share with us I also love your chat and funny little stories How big is this granny square

    • @FiberSpider
      @FiberSpider  7 лет назад

Technically you can make it as big as you desire. Just continue making triangles on each side and doing perimeter rounds to polish it off. 😉

  • @gapeach31781

Loved the CAL! If there is a complaint of sorts, it's that it is difficult to see the dark yarns against the black background.

My doctor once told me that he was puzzled as to why I don't get cabin fever or depressed during the winter months when or if I am snowed in. I told him how much I crochet and the fact that I chat a lot. He said he needs to prescribe that to some of his patients.

My doctor recently asked me about crocheting and wanted to know if it would be something that his 8year old daughter could learn. I told him to check out Michael's and/or Joanne's for beginners classes. I was very impressed by his eagerness and his excitement in it.

Right now I have 5 wips and I am learning bobbin lacemaking. I will post some of the bookmarks I have made for friends and grandchildren.
I have ordered a loom as well so I am sure there will be more wips.
The cloister shell shawl is my next project. One woman told me it was easier than the virus shawl.

I remember in 3rd grade the teacher had us all stand and face north, and she made the comment “now you’re facing north”… I had no idea my NSEW directions at all so I grew up thinking north was whatever direction I was facing!! How ridiculous!! Took me many years to figure that out! 🤣

I love this. Only thing is... try some real squeezed lemon in some tea or have some 7-up handy. pause your video, clear your throat, begin again. I ADORE your tutorials and this project is gorgeous. THANK YOU so much. your so soft spoken, easy to listen to. Just the clearing your throat bit lol yuck. BUT it IS worth it in the end, so... hats off to you my friend.

    Abrazos

I have a feeling that the phrase; "It'll be a pig's foot in the morning." refers to how it will swell up. You've seen pigs feet, they really don't have a lot of detail to them, they're just plump little pigs feet. LoL So perhaps that little soliloquy comes from resemblance. :)

"That will be a pig's foot in the morning" Often delivered in deadpan and fear-inducing manner to a child with a minor injury....apparently it comes from Liverpool in the UK!!!!!

Everyone talks to themselves. They're full of crap if they say they don't. And if they really don't talk to themselves then they're the crazy ones. Chatter away my friend.

I love your tutorials on this project. It's very thorough. On the same note, the extra "chatter" is a bit distracting to me.
