It's a friendly fade you should keep it that way. Drake turned the battle to stuff outside of rap. For the life of me I don't understand how Drake keeps getting passes for not keeping any of his rap beefs just rap. He literally turned every battle from lyrical to personal and when his opponents responded in kind, now he's a victim.

That was weird. He's previously came at a few ppl on some rappin shxt, why couldn't he do that to Kendrick? Kendrick clearly went crazy on Drake because he dislikes him & Drake mentioned his girl and accused him of abusing her, I don't think he would have had that energy for Cole.
Because accusing Kendrick of invoking his and Drake's name for relevancy (diminishing his real issues with Drake and possibly inferring clout chasing, a knock on Kendrick's character), saying his last album sucked on wax when he's always been complimentary of Dot before (could be perceived as being fake, something Kendrick doesn't respect. Also Kendrick has a lot of pride in his work.), taken together is not "friendly" jabs. On top of that, Kendrick was gearing up for a real war with Drake. if I was hot and about to fight and someone I feel is unrelated injects themselves into it, they might get it worse than the person I was going to fight initially.
Cole was down for a rap battle with Kendrick, he didn't want beef. Fans have a very hard time differentiating the two. 7 minute drill was an (unnecessary ) escalation no matter how you look at it.

Kendrick does not have a Tupac anything. That man is pushing 40 and rather than be himself, he aligns himself with dead rappers who are favored by the public (Pac and Nipsey). He can cosplay and reference Pac for the rest of his career.
