I'd put Gwyn way up on the list. You're told right at the start of Dark Souls that he's a literal god who killed the ancient dragons and brought about the age of fire, and then spend the entire game hearing over and over again how important he is, and see how almost everything in Lordran links back to him. Then, after many great hurdles you finally reach his fog gate, ready to fight a god, only to hear that sad piano music, and see that he's become a pitiful withered shadow of his former self (although he's still pretty tough unless you're good at parrying).
A detail kind of overlooked about Artorias is that when he felt the Abyss begin to eat at his mind he managed to save Sif using his Cleansing Greatshield. By the time you encounter him completely mad he's a shell of his former self. And he still whips your ass. What kind of beast was he when he still had his shield and could hold his sword in his dominant hand?
Artorias was empowered by the Abyss. He is significantly stronger than his prime self by the time we encounter him. And no, he isn't left-handed just because DS2 says the wielders of the sword were left-handed. DS2 honestly isn't canon, even if that's officially the case.
The nameless king was the one I found the hardest, was totally epic (when he kills his wyvern before the second stage), you walk on clouds to get to him, and I felt the most jubilant when I'd finally done him!

It was quite the fight, quite the game, i don't think I'll ever forget the piano playing. Hhhhh and what a surprise it was when I fought the soul of cinder, hhhh.
How did you not include Lady Astraea
Idea for list: top ten video game character you love to hate and/or hate to love. Claptrap from borderlands could easily make either of these lists
Handsome Jack even better. Getting a pre-sequel all for himself, becoming "playable", being major plot element on spin-off and constantly showing up to troll people makes him even more memorable and complex.
Never played any of these games but I enjoy a good list.
What happenned to the orphan of kos?
Why is Artorias and Sif not in the thumbnail?!?!?
i don't really dig O&S, better than Maneaters but Twin Princes are my favourite gank squad (barely count tho)
My faves bosses of each game
My fave dark souls 1 boss- knight artorios
Ds2- fume knight
Ds3- slave kight geal
Bloodborne- Child of kos
My favorite boss of all time is slave knight gael
No Gwen? Love ur vids man
SPARKLES AND BABS
This is the issue with a top 10 list, there are too many good bosses. Maiden astrea, false king Alant, dragon God, flamelurker, bed of chaos, seath, nito, Gwyn, kalameet, the soul of cinder, and there are plenty more bosses I cannot recall specifically that leave you in a state of awe(especially if you know souls lore)
Why does Lady Maria reminds me of Attack on Titan from her moveset?
ok but why no soul of cinder at number 1
What about the blood starved beast? I swear to god i died to that fucker like 50 or so times
he bleeds his own blood? how cunning
Father Gascoigne?
That entire story is just sad as fuck...like most of Bloodborne really.
Bab's cameo
Try the Owl (Father) from Sekiro
Yeah Bloodborne was a sick masterpiece
Maiden Astraea might be THEE most impactful boss of the entire series and she is snubbed...in favor of the Tower Knight and the Cleric Beast. sigh
Literally not impactful at all tf are you saying
@@dietretard2636 how is it not. the music, the lore behind her role in the Valley of Defilement, her relationship with Garl Vinland, the dialogue, the fact that she kills herself...makes for some pretty powerful, emotional, and memorable stuff
People apparently don't know what impactful means
@@20thcentury_toy impactful = bosses do endless 9 string anime combos obviously
I’m so glad people get to experience this fight (again). I was really hoping to see her on the list but oh well. At least WE know.
