I'm not absolutely positive but I am pretty sure my ears are pretty good about these things he is the person that does the voiceover for watchfinder and company okay I watched all the way to the end and I had made this comment about a quarter of the way through yes he is the voice at watchfinder and company
I have 3 Rolex I bought before the prices and notoriety went sky high. Quite honestly I would be embarrassed if someone noticed me wearing one. They are now investments that sit in a draw. The way I feel about Tudor is the same way I used to feel about Rolex, a great, sort of affordable wrist watch that is my secret that I can enjoy.
I have cherished my Rolex Sub Date 16610 since new in 2002 and it's travelled all over the world with me. However, being a watch fan I also own both the Tudor BB58 black/gilt and Blue versions just because I love the more compact, tool-like aesthetic, quality, modern in-house movement with 70 hrs reserve and the differing personalities. Looking forward to getting hands on with the new Tudor Pelagos 39.
Great one Andrew! Love the channel, knowledge and voice, now we have the face too. But you may want to slow down a bit, your signature voice and relax pace is what make the channel best.
I bought my black BB58 on watchfinder. I was on the waitlist at two ADs for the Rolex OP36 in black, and was next on the waitlist at one AD which I had a good relationship with. You convinced me that the BB58 was much better value. I don't regret my decision at all.
My experience was very different. I’ve always loved the explorer II polar and when the 226570 came out in 2021 I sent my AD a mensagem asking if it was available. I had experience with the AD, had bought a Tudor BB steel in 2018 and a JLC MC date sector in 2020. They answered that they hadn’t received the watch yet and offered me an Air King that I politely declined. Less than a month later I was offered the Explorer II.
Absolutely right, I think Tudor is now having it’s time to shine as a stand alone brand and moving away from the perception of being a poor man’s Rolex. It’s definitely more appealing to the new modern day wearer and is taking horology to a new era where I believe Rolex can’t go.
I love both brands Andrew but I hate the Rolex image because some rich people without any taste are wearing them. I have two Rolexes and three Tudor watches and the majority of my time, (85% ) I'm wearing Tudor for obvious reasons. Thanks for another great video.
I love the Tudor black bay 58, a beautiful clean dial with no date, the right size, solid movement, reasonable pricing, all of the above from a brand with heritage, that makes it the perfect watch for me.
First "old lady brooch" shout out I've heard on RUclips today! So yeah I really love this one of the fabric or the almost never seen leather strap. I mean...are we really diving? Would I prefer this over a Sub? Yes...but my pick was the 925 and of all my watches I honestly think it's the one i'd never part with. Great first episode. Good luck🍻
Congratulations on your new channel Andrew!! I have been an enthusiastic fan of yours over at WatchFinder and it is awesome to see you start your channel here and put a name to the voice!
For me, it’s your final point, you can walk out with one. My hopes are for a Black Bay in the 39mm range but without the good accents in the black dial with silver hands and indices. I guess that’s why I opted for the Black Bay GMT since it has that dial and hand combo.
Hi Andrew, great to put a face to that voice. Love your watch finder videos - I never miss one, and looking forward to the content you’ll be bringing via this new channel. All the best from Vancouver CANADA
I’ve got both, the BB58 and a Starbucks. While the Rolex is better made, sturdier and more accurate, I prefer wearing the Tudor in public as it is lighter and does not get noticed. When I go to a private social event, I wear the Rolex as people stare at my wrist all evening, which is kind of fun :)
God bless the RUclips algorithms! Great to see you on your own channel. I can agree on all points and am sizing up the Pepsi bezel GMT. Now all the fuss has died Dian on that , I feel it’s time! Look forward to the next instalment 👍
I was able to purchase my BB Pro from my local AD two months ago . This was the first ever watch I purchased from them. I waited about 5 weeks to get it. I would go in once a week to see if they had an idea when they would have it in stock. When I eventually got the call that it was in I went and purchased it. I absolutely love this watch. The local AD has earned my business and that's the way it should be. Because of that I'm very much considering the new Pelagos 39mm. My AD had a display only model and it looks amazing. But I'm really curious to see what improvements Tudor is planning for the next gen BB58. So far I think Tudor is moving in the right direction and I'm excited to see their next watch release. Great video Andrew, keep it up. 👍
Great video Andrew! My favourite Tudor is the Black Bay GMT, I hope to buy one in a few years and, much like you, I really like the toolish charm that it has in comparison to the modern GMT Master II, the price tag doen's hurt either haha. Cheers man!
I’ve just purchased a 6 month old BlackBay Heritage 41mm and I couldn’t be happier, I saved a small fortune and the size is perfect for my larger wrists and I don’t feel like I need to be looking over my shoulder all the time like I used to with my Submariner.
Yeah I feel that Tudor is my Rolex. I tend to prefer vintage styles, and retro watches. I do like a Rolex, but Tudor just keeps hitting that sweet spot for me. The Pro, GMT, Ranger (yes, on that nato I love it), and even a Pelagos FXD are all watches I am considering. I am really spoiled for choice when it comes to the brand, when usually other watchmakers, there’s 1-2 I like at best. Would I prefer all of the watches I named above, or one Submariner? I’ll take the Tudors, thanks.
I was a bit late to the BB58 party but honestly, it's the most comfortable watch I own. Perhaps it's the female ends links that does it compared to Rolex's end link. It drapes down and comfortably hugs my 6.25 inch wrist. Best of luck on your new channel, Andrew. I'm sure it will do very well.
This is strange 😂 having listened for so long to your voice on both the watch finder Chanel’s it’s nice to see a person !!! I have subscribed and hit the bell so waiting for more !!!!!
Yes the Tudor BB "Exprorer" is a great tool watch. Future classic. Hope the waiting list games are sensible though. 3-4 months max can be acceptable. Good luck with finding one! Deserves the waiting:)
BB Pro is sick. As someone who owns a BB GMT I can say that their thickness makes it that it’s tough to make it your “everyday” watch. You’ll get fatigued from it and want something lighter like a BB58 or a Longines spirit 37mm
@@damisu8 🤣 touché my wrist size is 7.75” in circumference but I keep the BB GMT In rotation of 9 watches. Its size never bothered me and is proportional to my wrist. I was only relating it to Andrew since he tends to wear one watch and one watch only 🤙🏾
Great to see your face Andrew . I always listen to your watch finder video but never get to see your face. Tudor is a great brand and they are bringing us some innovative timepiece. Rolex is arguable my favorite brand and will forever be. Everytime I buy a Tudor I always sold it . That are not build to the same standard of rolex
I bought a Heritage Black Bay in 41 mm with the blue bezel and love it. I have a Rolex GMT but I prefer my BB in 41mm. Congratulations on the new Chan..subbed
Absolutely love that you started your own channel bro! When i first saw your video I was like why does this guys voice sound so familiar hahaha. Love Tudor for all the reasons that you have stated. Plus one more, I have been denied entry at a Rolex store before in NYC. I don't dress well enough to dome in I guess lol. After that I sold my Rolex that I already had and didn't want to buy a new one. Now I'm all about Tudor and love the fact that you don't have to play games. Just go in and buy a watch for the most part. How it should be. Keep up the good work bro!
I compared the 58 and Pro in store a couple of weeks back. I much prefer the 58. The thickness on the Pro is noticeable but I’d say the added weight was more of a problem to me.
I have a Tudor Black Bay 58, and a Rolex Submariner 124060. I prefer the Black Bay 58. I however am not planning on ever selling the Rolex. I really like the Black Bay pro, but the thickness is also a concern for me as well.
Wow. I am the first commentator!! Thanks for your videos. To be honest it still feels weird - for years we never had a face to the hands. And somehow you find your different style from the “talking hands” a bit more energetic, less scripted and maybe a bit less polished. Which isn’t necessary a bad thing. Keep it up!!
Bought a b-bay for my girlfriend when it first came out at the point nobody wanted it...the one with rose logo. Interesting how fast it caught popularity and even increased in value on second hand market,... for a good reason. Slimmer grips on rotating bezel and absence of lug guards were the main features that made it feel elegant and generally better, much better than a Rolex, plus the contrasting color bezel that actually changes from blue to gray or black based on the surroundings. Agreed with all your points Andrew! I may add that for the abovementioned reasons the B-bay may be also a better fit for a woman than a Sub, opening up a larger market niche...maybe Tudor saw something when chose Lady Gaga to promote it. My experience at the new Tudor boutique in LA, however, stinks as if the Rolex cockyness virus is sprrading horizontally between the two brands. I hope it was just a singled out event. Interesting enough it happened while talking about a waiting list model...
The perfect wear for the average person....average is an understatement for you Andrew, Demigod, Superstar, these are the titles that come to mind..😊😂 Also, old ladies broche?..very nicely said, love it !!!! I too hate being put on a waiting list (that you never really progress on unless you spend on other watches in the store $$), thats why I own a BB58 in Blue (the boring one) 😊 Superb video
I choose my Invicta over Tudor. I just watches a video of a guy who has had an Invicta Pro Diver for 18 years. He paid $120. You do the math. The only thing Rolex and Tudor give is a screw job.
I’ve spent such a long time picturing Alan Davies when hearing this voice that the juxtaposition was, at first, quite alarming. Great to put a face to the name though, Andrew. And having owned - and loved - my BB58 (Navy) for over a year now, I concur with these sentiments entirely. Liked, subscribed, and enjoyed 😊
Nice to finally put a face to those…hands and voice 😃. I’m glad you created the channel. Cheers! Ps: I had the bb58 but still sold it and recently got a no date sub ! The BB58 was pretty but I was constantly afraid to scratch that aluminum bezel . I looks delicate for me. The Sub feels to me much more rugged.
Tudor is what Rolex used to be...a real tool watch that is elegant and perfectly well balanced. Rolex has moved to the "bling bling" side of jewlery...unusable items that usually are kept in a safe or in a drawer.
I feel like the customer care is so much more better at Tudor's. When I went in just to browse for my potential grail, the people were actually so nice! I not only got to try on a lot of different watches, but actually had a good conversation about Tudor vs Rolex and how people often times look down on Tudor. I hope their attitudes don't change by the time I've saved up enough for one 😅
I like Tudor too. I was looking for a BB Pro GMT and got it after a wait of 3 days in Plymouth of all places, not the most vibramnt city in the country, so I assume that you might get your hands on one in just a couple of days. Interesting to associate a face to a well konwn voice for years. best of luck with the channel.
Great content! Looking forward to seeing more videos of yours. I'm personally torn between getting an Omega SMP polar or the Tudor BB GMT.... would love to get your input of an Omega vs Tudor watch.
Agree with everything…and its why i got the Tudor GMT a few years ago…but now after getting a white dial seamaster300, I think Omega has a lot of what you mentioned about Tudor, except looking like Rolex, but i find Omega quality is a notch above without being too much more expensive.
“Don’t get a Rolex you may get stabbed!” What an indictment! Lovely to see the face Andrew! Yes love my BB58 . It’s the best diver I’ve ever handled for sure. BB PRO? well I’m not a fan of Tudor Homaging a Rolex , a lack of respect of their old references. The Ranger, while done poorly, at least it’s a celebration of an older Tudor!;) all the best
You do realize Tudor and Rolex are sister companies both founded by the exact same man right? Don't get me wrong, I hate homages/bootlegs as much as the next guy, but Tudor's the one company that can do it without it being considered plagiarism
You should review the new Pelagos 39. The BB58 is a beloved watch of mine and I got a 124060 Sub - but this new, smaller, all titanium Pelagos may just seriously nullify all Submariner momentum. Do a review! Love the new channel where you have a face and a name. Cheers!
Good luck with the channel. I imagined you were a suit wearing gent, but there you go. I have Rolex and Tudor including the new Ranger. Rolex for whatever reason, (? due to the metal) wears better, softer/warmer. My Submariner comes from the era when you could walk in and buy from stock. There is no waiting list here, (including Tudor) just an expression of interest list. The new Tudor bracelet works really well, no faux rivets. My BB58 is the one that gets the most comments, great value as you mentioned.
Finally I have seen the man behind the voice of watchfinder hahah.. and I think it’s cool to talk about others good watch companies as tudor, and some other great Swiss watches instead of arrogant Rolex.
Why did I buy a BB58 Blue over the Submariner? The Sub Blue is electric while the BB is dark navy perfection. The Sub only comes in precious metal and I'm planning to daily wear the crap out of my tool watch. The Sub is 41 vs 39. It's $20k vs $4k. And most importantly, I can actually walk into the ad and walk out same day with the BB58 in Blue. I love it. It's a gorgeous watch
I bought a Tudor Pelagos LHD last year and I love it, my first “real” watch if you like, then a bought a Bvlgari octo Roma blue dial and metal bracelet and yes it’s the “cheapest one” but god it’s finishing, bracelet and sunburst dial is something else. If you wish do for a review i will send it over for a review just ask.
The BB58 is not available at my local ADs till today. Its available in grey market with a small premium and compared to the Omega SMP which is 20% off RRP in the grey market, I would rather pay a bit more for the SMP from the "value" standpoint. I really don't understand the hype around Tudor being the "value" proposition. Aluminuim bezel with only 60 clicks, green lume instead of blue, no on-the-fly micro adjustments, reports of rattling end links and finishing not as good as the SMP.
I’ve never been a fan of Rolex (even as a little kid), although I would make an exception for a Bluesy. The fact that Tudor is an understated but great watch is why I prefer it over Rolex. I much prefer a low-key watch than something that is essentially a “Look at me!” sign on the wrist, at least to me. To each, their own.
I’ve been in between on a black bay 58, or an omega seamaster. I think I’ll go with the Tudor, much more of a safe pick. Very capable and beautiful watch, snd lastly about 2k cheaper retail.
I bought the Tudor Ranger when it came out. Although I did have to wait a couple of months for it to come in to the AD. I did not have to buy any other of their watches first, offer my first born, or be put on a waiting list longer than circumference of the earth to get it. Yes it is not a Rolex but it is still a watch that people admire on my wrist and makes me smile when I look at the time. Would I like a Rolex, yes, will I get one eventually, yes. But I live in the here and now and waiting for something that may eventually happen in years to come sucks! Just my humble opinion.
Thank you everyone for watching! If you get a reply saying you’ve won a prize, please ignore it. Unfortunately that’s a spam bot.
The voice is indeed next level 😂
TUDOR over Rolex any day of the week
Bro, the voice is so smooth it sounds like a voice over xD
Haha yeah!!!
You two should team up, the best videography and the best voice.

Glad to hear that a Rolex, and two BB58s, can co exist in the same collection!

You have listed some very good reasons why you should buy an Omega !

Great content! Looking forward to seeing more videos of yours. I'm personally torn between getting an Omega SMP polar or the Tudor BB GMT.... would love to get your input of an Omega vs Tudor watch.
I agree about that Black Bay Pro. It’s my favorite Tudor as well.
Great video! Best of luck on this new project.
You are getting stabbed.by Rolex and their elitistic marketing tricks.
You do realize Tudor and Rolex are sister companies both founded by the exact same man right? Don't get me wrong, I hate homages/bootlegs as much as the next guy, but Tudor's the one company that can do it without it being considered plagiarism
@@JokerVidsSG naaaa there’s enough history of there own , they don’t need to homage the big brother my friend. The Pro is an obvious cash grab ay?
From RUclips to Reddit and back to. RUclips. Best of luck on the new channel. Subbed 👊
I'm considering buying the Black Bay 58 your enthusiasm has helped me make up my mind 👍
It’s a great watch. Just gone up in price though… 😣
Idk how I ended up here but I love the content on watch finder. Was surprised when I heard your voice lol
You should review the new Pelagos 39. The BB58 is a beloved watch of mine and I got a 124060 Sub - but this new, smaller, all titanium Pelagos may just seriously nullify all Submariner momentum. Do a review! Love the new channel where you have a face and a name. Cheers!
So cool you started your own channel! You’ve got me subscribed!
Thanks very much!
OMG It’s so mad seeing you in the flesh haha
Subscribed and good luck with the channel💪🏼
Why did I buy a BB58 Blue over the Submariner? The Sub Blue is electric while the BB is dark navy perfection. The Sub only comes in precious metal and I'm planning to daily wear the crap out of my tool watch. The Sub is 41 vs 39. It's $20k vs $4k. And most importantly, I can actually walk into the ad and walk out same day with the BB58 in Blue. I love it. It's a gorgeous watch
Old ladies broach is all I will refer to Rolex as from now on! That was hilarious, and 100% accurate.
Love my GMT on the leather strap, feels great, as soon as i put it on that was it. Keeps great time never an issue, winds like silk.
Totally agree. Sold my Hulk Sub and bought a North Flag and had plenty of money left over 👍🏻
The BB58 is not available at my local ADs till today.
Yes Man so glad you have you're own Chanel!!
“Thanks for watching”, no thank you for “watch-ing”
Damn… I’ve even got shivers from finally seen the man!
I just picked up a Tudor Black Bay 58 (Blue) on the secondary market, should arrive next week!
Awesome watch, congrats!
Had my Tudor Black Bay ripped off my wrist in broad day light a few weeks ago.
I sold my Rolex and got Tudor BB GMT, because I started feeling not safe wearing the Rolex.
