Imagine losing your father and having all the questions that we all do that can’t be asked once they are gone. Now imagine having dozens of men that knew him telling their stories to you about him. What an amazingly cathartic journey that would be. Can’t get enough of these discussions.
These stories show us the "normal guys" behind the legends. It all feels like these guys had normal lives but the moments are all remembered as legendary history.
If you're having trouble connecting the dots, The Engine Builders are the behind the scenes Badasses. The magic of DEI was The Engine Shop Program and the 3 Car RCR Dynamic.
I have to imagine that even tho it has been so many years since Sr. Passed Jr hears all of these great stories about his dad and he has a tough time after some of these shows. Always great content. Still my favorite show to watch weekly.
It must be emotional. But he really has gotten to learn so much about the man Sr was and thankfully so do all of us as well. Those are valuable to him I'm sure in having to live with the reality of what happened.
We ran an ARCA car out of our shop so we would see Dale Earnhardt at the tracks we ran at , Dale Earnhardt was focused on one thing, GOING-FAST. You could only ADMIRE Dale Earnhardt for that knowing what it took for him to get where he was. I believe Dale Earnhardt ALWAYS KNEW he had what it takes to be the best, he never forgot what it takes to get there. Dale Earnhardt went through HELL backwards to get to the TOP🏁🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏁
Richie Gilmore just shared what separated Dale Sr owning a team and Denny Hamlin owning one. I don't remember seeing Dale Sr ever talking about DEI with his #3 firesuit on. But in just the few yrs Denny has had 23 11 with his Fed Ex driving suit on he constantly talks about his race team. Richie Gilmore's story of Dale telling him to get the hell out of the #3 hauler explains alot about how Dale Sr kept his businesses separate.
It’s so hard to believe that one of the heroes of the sport (richie) is such a humble and normal guy. Such a wealth of knowledge just on sheer experience alone. I’m amazed
I have often wondered how did Dale Sr divide his time between DEI & RCR? How much time did Dale Sr spend at RCR through the week compared to time spent at DEI? I would think on race weekend most of his time was spent with the RCR Crew but still he had 3 cars to take care of for DEI. Thanks for the video
I remember that when Dale won a race that "Richie & all the guys back at the shop" were always one of the first thanked in victory lane ... I miss being a fan.
Big E in the 3 Just a LogHauler with one leg and never got to see him race in person. Yet Love the show and the history that Jr , Kelly and many others reveal about the Man who was born to RACE HARD I LOGHARD EVERY DAY AND LOVE DRIVING A LOGTRUCK LOVE YOU ALL. RACE HARD AND YOU ARE A GREAT MAN RALPH DALE EARNHARDT 🎉
Really enjoyed that conversation. It gives me great feeling here in stories like that I wish to hear more. Keep up the great work. Really appreciate what you’re doing Junior.
Dale Jr., you are such a great ambassador for the sport. Thank you for all of these great stories from all the great personalities of the sport. I really enjoy the inside perspective that is shared!

YOU'RE SUCH A BLESSING TO THE SPORT OF RACING AND ALWAYS DOING IT WITH CLASS AND HEART💞🤗💞😎🏁🏆🏁 I AM SO PROUD OF YOU AND I KNOW THAT NOT ONLY IS YOUR DAD PROUD OF YOU BUT YOUR GRANDDADDY RALPH IS PROUD OF YOU TOO!!!
That is the way you deal with a Big E person. Mutual respect, but you must earn that respect. You respectfully stand your ground with them, thus earn their respect. Man to man.
Dale I like these stories because it humanized your father. I was a Gordon fan so the on track battles with your father and him was always a grudge match. But I have come to the understanding that it is a lot like Pro Wrestlers. They may act as though they hate each others guts inside the ring when the show was over and the cameras were off the guys would be in the locker room drinking beers and trading stories. Maybe I should think about Rowdy the same way. But to some degree I will always have a certain bias against Rowdy. My nephew dated a women whose mother worked for the Busch family. I head stories.
Hard to balance your bigg E ,but d*** I can relate to a lot of his quirks. And especially liked to take care farm animals, hunt fish just a good old american m**********r. I miss that old boy so much! God bless big E, God rest this soul.
Pretty crazy that this podcast is the only way Dale Jr. can further Dale’s legacy considering the rest of it is locked up in that dumpster fire they call DEI.
This podcast is literally a national treasure.
How cool is this???
Yes for sure!
I agree
Totally Agree!! 👍💯♥️

I've watched so many episodes where someone is telling Jr a story about Sr, and he has responded "I never knew that!" So cool.
FAMOUS DALE EARNHARDT QUOTE::
I'M NOT DALE SR, I'M DALE EARNHARDT!!!
Filled with pride I would think.
There’s been times where you can see Jr’s eyes tear up during a lot of the stories being told. Just shows how much his dad meant to him.

Denny Hamlin is one of the reasons
NASCAR is no longer relevant
I Love hearing these stories about Dale Earnhardt senior. He was unique and talented. Metro Detroit Loves you guys!! G
Classic Dale, proud Father and DEI owner; but wasn't going to give an inch on Sunday!
It’s so hard to believe that one of the heroes of the sport (richie) is such a humble and normal guy.

I LOVE listening to people tell stories about your dad Dale. I am ALWAYS laughing and smiling.
Your dad was really cool Dale. 🤭🥰🥰

Imagine being able to tell Big E "You don't drive for us" LOL! Brass balls but you know damn well Big E respected him for it!
No way.
That is the way you deal with a Big E person. Mutual respect, but you must earn that respect. You respectfully stand your ground with them, thus earn their respect. Man to man.
And have the FU money
That was an eye opener! Great stories!
Please turn the volume up on these podcasts
Dale Sr. sounds like a very loyal guy. When he had that Goodwrench fire suit on he was working for Richard Childress, period.
Great content! Keep it coming!
Pure gold. Love it.
Great video thank you for sharing really enjoyed watching it!!! Keep up the great videos and I’ll keep watching them thank you again!!!!
Great video!
I suspect that Richard told Dale that if he's going to have a competing team(s) while also working for him, that he can't be doing it on 3 time.
This is good stuff
The engine whisperer
Long live the MAN IN BLACK
Since hes basically talking about Gibbs racing 5th and 6th car i guess its different,,
And what did Dale say when the guy told him, you don't drive for us?
Get Ronny Crooks on here. He was Dales shock guy for a long time.
Where can I find the actual podcast??

Yes he would have.
"heads"? Hendrick got back a yused up box, Junior Jon. I see the lable back from Chevrolet, hendrick.
If big E didn't die would jr win a championship?
Most definitely.
"heads", chevy.
"pull it out".
Pretty crazy that this podcast is the only way Dale Jr. can further Dale’s legacy considering the rest of it is locked up in that dumpster fire they call DEI.
PULL IT OUT !
When do they all not work late at night?
Sr had a lot of personalities going on in his head.
Don't forget terrible father.
Try not to project.
