Kyle has always been the favorite for my son and I, as the years go on he just keeps getting better as a person and a driver and NASCAR personality. I look forward to many more years cheering him on.
I think the way he handled his press conference last year in the announcement of going to RCR helped with the fan perception. It was extremely professional, and went a long way in changing folks perception.
Kyle you're a living legend. Your fierce competitiveness is something to be admired. Love him or hate him, he helps NASCAR continue to tick and garner interest.
Yeah dude and plus Reddick kast year IN THAT CAR won like Kyle busch is so good at Texas he just keeps getting caught uo in terrible luck, and with him actually winning dega this year and his last super Speedway being a 75h place finish I feel like Kyle's chances are good there and the roval too with how great they are at any road course and Kyle being relatively good there as well
I have always respected the talent that is KFB and never been a fan but he definitely over the last year and a half has grown on me. Not gonna rep any RCR or KFB gear but I recognize greatness when it is deserved. PS Samantha is gorgeous.
His humility is a wonder to see. As a dad, watching my kids play the sports they play and succeeding, win or lose, that part about him talking about his kid really got me!
I’m a diehard JGR fan, and KB was my favorite driver from the day he signed till the day he left. I’m happy to see him performing so well, and I’m glad everything worked out well for both JGR and Kyle. I miss cheering for that #18 M&M’s car, but wishing him all the best, just not better than the Toyotas 😉
Nice interview. Thank you for doing this. I’ve seen many drivers start young and then mature. It seams once they have kids growing, they mature quickly. I think usually the behind the seen support at home help them mature in the right directions.
I've always been a fan of Kyle. For better or worse the man tells you what is on his mind and doesn't sugarcoat it for others feelings. Doesn't hurt that he's a damn good wheelman either lol
True, but he just seems like he isn't as passionate about racing anymore. Selling his truck team was a shock. Seems like he is less committed to his own racing and looking towards the future with Brexton. After his contract is over as RCR, it would not shock me one bit to see him retire. He is not in equipment good enough to win a championship and he isn't getting any younger.
You've gotta wonder what the culture is like at JGR. When Tony drove there we all know what he was like but then once he left he had a bit of an attitude change and became more respected. Don't get me wrong there were still flashs of old Tony but they seemed to come from a different place and ppl respected it more. Im seeing the same thing with Kyle already. Hell he's been my guy to hate for years and I was happy when he got his first win at RCR.
For YEARS, I did not like Busch. I thought his personality was terrible, Sportsmanship was terrible. But something started clicking the older I got, and realized a way to look past what you see on the track. I looked further into how they are people all the same on and off the track, and watching the Peacock series last year and seeing how KB has really worked o himself for the better and seeing how great of a person he really is. I can proudly say, Busch is someone I can root for now.
The turn around of both him and the fans is amazing. I don’t know if I will every call my myself and Kyle Busch fan or not but I have found myself rooting for him when I never did that before. I hope he continues to help develop RCR and does well for himself and his family.
@@spicyrensgaming6075 Yes, he would still be booed. Dirty Denny is no doubt a dirty driver (obviously) and a complete jerk. Ford already has one driver like him and you know who I'm referring to...
Man i was so bummed over texas. He had a good car first time in awhile. Now needing to win at talladega or a road course stinks big time . hes ran good at superspeedways and decent at road courses . Still a wild card .
They way I would probably describe Kyle now is; He’s like those professional wrestlers that need to play the “bad guy” for so long in order for the fans to care about them when they become the “good guy”.
I used to hate Kyle's guts but when Grandpa Joe dumped him for his grandbaby, I changed my mind. I genuinely felt bad for him when he got kicked to the curb. I like him now cuz he finally became a humble driver. I really hope he gets a Daytona 500 trophy and a championship (maybe more than one) before he hangs it up.
I got a story that kinda sums up why he gets more cheers now. It IS because people are starting to see a “nicer” Kyle Busch. I met Kyle at Watkins Glen last summer and asked for a pic. Rather than ignore me or be rude, he said “Heck yeah! Absolutely.” Dude was awesome! Totally unexpected at the time but I definitely went from booing him to cheering for him.
Kyle has matured a great deal. At first I hated him and his racing. He was like a train wreck. Now I respect him 150 percent. His Wife has helped him a great deal
Well, Toyota isn't liked cuz of many reasons: 1. Their arrogance (you can see it in their commercials) 2. The Camry and the Supra in NASCAR are nothing like their production counterpart and finally, 3. They're complete control freaks, they like to control everything.
@CM32401 I have nothing negative to say about Toyota. Most people that have them love them because they are quality vehicles when it comes to dependability. However it's just a sad reminder of what our American cars have become. Hate to say it but Toyota is better. Plus it wasn't that long ago the Japanese bombed us and now we are driving our cars and our people are putting them together on American soil.
@@JustGenius2001 I don't have a problem with them. However, when I started watching Nascar, most people rooted for their driver, team, and manufacturer in that order.
Gotta give credit to the #3 car driver for recommending Kyle Busch to his grandad, knowing that Kyle would probably be in the spotlight more than he is. That shows character and so unselfish of him. He did it for the organization. I'd love to tell him face to face one day. I hope you can pass this comment on to him. Well done Austin!
I give him credit for being truthful in that it’s awkward around Coach but not the guys. Whatever transpired during the 2020 season and subsequent crew chief swap on the 18 was the beginning of the end of that relationship. They always say free advice is always worth the price you pay. I am glad that he has found a home at RCR and build something a race team up again much like he did with the 18 team, only now with the 8 team.
As a dale jr fan i had a love hate with kyle. But as a racing fan he was a goon and i liked the villian rule he played. But say what u want he a winner all respect
"Kyle Busch to Brexton, jokingly when Jeff Gordon asked if he had a contract with RCR already: “Nah, KBM owns the rights to you, boy!” Well that aged poorly...
In my opinion, I think the reason why Busch left was because his performance at JGR was just decaying and it was very noticeable in 2020. Honestly, it was probably for the best to just leave the team and not let his performance continue to suffer. It was also for the best that the 18 was retired especially after the passing of Coy Gibbs. In conclusion, it's probably for the best that we just leave the 18 car alone and let Ty Gibbs create his own legacy.
Wholesome segment, I believe it's important for the sport for him to win a championship with RCR.
Maybe they should gift him the title 🤡

I love the change to RCR for Kyle, and I think there's a fast and bright future for Brexton in Nascar racing with KBM and RCR.

Crybaby Busch is overrated trash
Last night was ROUGH. Really really hoping for a better race at Talladega. 😣 Pleeaaassseeee no major car issues...again.
Yea man, looked like a winning car at Texas. So unfortunate and frustrating. We need some luck the next two weeks.

Kyle misses being a heel to use a wrestling term. Moving to RCR turned him babyface! 🤣🤣🤣

It’s not RCR he’s a girl dad now with an 8 year old racer. He’s got bigger priorities
