Big lots did get expensive compared to other stores when they use to be cheap. That couch the price ouch. That’s not a good deal. The sale is still not that good. Thanks for the update on big lots.
Big lots is beyond saving. We have no stores left in my immediate area. I wouldve felt better if a deal to buy all the remaining assets of big lots was made much sooner in 2024 when a good number of the stores were still open.
I almost wonder if they’re waiting on selling the fixtures until they find out if they’re going to survive. I haven’t been into a Big Lots since the Gordon Brothers announcement, so I can’t say if the Texas stores are currently selling their fixtures.
Most of these merchant-terror sites never even mention that many such stores and restaurants are just too wildly expensive. I'm thinking Penneys ,Macy's--even Sears. Certainly, "trendy" women's clothes, tools, furniture, etc. Most other posters basically indicate other causes--online, trends, "old-fashioned," etc. To such posters, it seems that it's never our increasingly greed-based merchant-culture that's ever at fault. Thanks!: Subscribing!!
I have no idea if my Big Lots is closing. A few months ago they said they were closing, but than they said they were staying open. They even were suppose to get new merchandise, but the other day I saw a closing sign on the building. A friend said they are just trying to get rid of old merchandise. At this point I have no idea.
Up to 30% is very misleading. Many sections still only 10% off. Was a better deal when they regularly sent out 20% off everything coupons .. including food. Don't be fooled by "up to" language...
@@TheBlackHeartsClub I probably in toys but don't dvdor movies though anyway I only when there's Ollie once July when 1st open I didn't buy anything wasn't anything much plus long line
I read in one article this morning that the new merchandise would look like Variety Wholesalers inventory at their other brands like Roses and Maxway. It also said some stores could convert to one of their other names. I can't believe people are buying that stuff at only 10 percent off unless they are charging up their Big Lots charge card thinking they will not have to pay it off.I got news for them .They will still get statements from the company that manages those cards and still owe it.
Our Big Lots is not as empty as yours, in fact they were still stocking food. usually fixtures are the last thing they sell. I am in Ohio and hope mine stays open.

1300 plus tax yeah passsss lol
It was expensive as far back as I remember, I would only go to see clearance aisles
As an employee of a company that closed stores, a lot of times they won't sell fixtures or even offer them until closer when they are going to close
Ok thanks for sharing !

If you don’t have an Ollie’s here’s hoping yours becomes that at least it’s better anyway

That’s a possibility
I'll give them $20 for that raggedy couch 😹
🤣🤣🤣

This story is legit all over the place

Hey Derik! 😊 do you think yall will do Blackheart club tshirts as well?
I’m sure eventually we will!
My location is done and done… But I inadvertently looked in the windows and saw that all of the shelving units were still in place.
See that makes no sense why didn’t they sell them

That’s what I feared so terrible merch awaits lol

And it looks like food is the one thing no one’s buying lol
I hope your store is one of the ones that stays in business! That would he great! Too many store closings anymore!😎🧡🖤
Makes me wonder with no fixtures for sale
I think my Area is already gutted out! 😢it’s soo sad that it’s usually where I get stuff
At the rate mines going by 50% off nothing will be left at all
I want the closing Time song
Check yesterdays short lol
@TheBlackHeartsClub yeah I check it out are you happy now
It’s just random junk in that store now and I doubt they will sell the fixtures……..
I don’t think they will I think because that store will be reused for a bailout location
As an employee they said the last day it is suppose to be sometime in February. The fixtures are supposed to go on sale the middle of January
Thanks for sharing
O saw a little bit of things I like
Only thing I saw I could use was mouthwash lol
Party City on the other hand looks bare……..
