Thank you! Yes all over my lid I used loreal infallible eye shadow in golden sage. and in the crease I used the lorac pro pallet in taupe, outer corner sable from the pro pallet. ( or use any brown )
I just found your videos and wow you are the cutest couple here in YT!! I am watching your videos from beginning to the present first in your infirtility journey, and to you guys getting pregnant! I have cried and laughed as I watch you baby being conceived, you both are so sweet and so funny, so love you and I pray God's love over three of you!
I love the idea of the beige as long as it is around 2 shades darker then your wall color otherwise it might wash out the room. Hang the curtains about 4-6 inches above the top of the window or measure half way between the window and the ceiling, as long as that doesn't exceed 8 inches above the top of the window (hope that wasn't confusing). I love the videos so any length or frequency is great, since I can't conceive so I'm live vicariously through your pregnancy while we work on adopting.
You can do a 2 layer curtain thing /window treatment idk if it has a specific name but like a shear cream curtains underneath the blue curtains and definitely to the ceiling!! That would be beautiful and it gives you both the colors and also different lighting options for the room :)
Hi Jared and Ellie! Been watching you guys for a while and finally coming out of hiding to be more a part of the TTC community. You two are ADORABLE and I love the relationship you have. So excited for you! My husband and I have been TTC for 18 months, and are onto our first round of femara + IUI this month! FX we get as positive an outcome as you!
Do burlap/beige curtains for texture and add a brown valance to bring in the brown of the leather and spots of "George." You could then add textured matte to future pictures to tie them to the curtains. Playing with hard and soft textures will make for a visually interesting room for your little Jackson.
Love the videos! I would love shorter ones a few times a week. I look forward to them. Definitely agree with some readers that you need some color in the room. Beige will be too washed out. Blue works (but I loved the orange too). Make sure they are a few inches above the window and as close to the floor as possible. They can even touch the floor, or puddle a little at the bottom if they are a thicker fabric. :)
I would definitely do blue! It would look really good matching the blue bedding :) You can never have too much blue when you're having a boy! Plus it would be a good contrast to the beige on the wall and giraffe!
Hi Ellie and jared you guys are too cute! I would use the beige color simply because, it is a neutral color. You could always use brighter accessories with your furniture. I would have longer curtains. I enjoy watching the longer videos.
I dont care either way about the frequency of the videos,.as long as I get to see you guys! Seriously, you make my day! You guys make me laugh and I appreciate you sharing your journey with us!! And as far as the curtains go, I would go with Beige. You can always accent the room with Blue items.. like lamps, figurines, little rugs.. its harder to find Beige decorations. Plus, you don't want to overdue it and feel like you're entering the land of the Smurfs lol!
Ellie, you are so pretty! I enjoy watching all of your videos and you guys are adorable together! Also, Jackson is absolutely the cutest baby in the world!!!
Hi Ellie! I would do the beige curtains for sure! I really think you should still use accents of orange in the room, either in pillows or pictures since it looks so good with the giraffe!
I'm not sure if my comment went through, I'm a little bit rusty on this YT stuff haha. I definitely think it is perfectly fine if they don't go ceiling to floor. Our curtains in our living room are 84" and they are a few inches above the window, and just barely touch the floor. I think it looks nice! Floor to ceiling curtains can get expensive, and then if you ever move, you want curtains you can reuse. I know Jackson's room is going to look fantastic and perfect no matter what you do!!
More frequent videos, please! Love seeing your videos & it seems soooo loooong to wait when you put one up per week or sometimes per two weeks. You two are so cute & funny, thumbs up! :-D
I say orange curtains. You will find that beige blends in with the walls. The blue is nice, but the bedding is already blue, and most baby boy outfits are dominant in blue. The orange is a warm, rich colour and will offset the dark wood nicely :)
Love the giraffee! He's so adorable! You two are just so awesome! I love how fun and exciting you guys keep your lives. :) I think I would choose the blue curtains over the beige, because the walls are light and it seems like it would be too much "light" color in the room. Even if the sheets are going to be blue, I think it will look cute. He's a boy after all! :) And, the length, I would hang them high enough to where the bottom of the curtain just brushes the floor, or maybe even a bit higher.
Blue curtains, tie in the other colors with the pictures and frames over the crib & rocker. The curtains and crib aren't on the same wall, so I think it will compliment each other well. Also find a cute throw pillow you like for your chair, just a suggestion!:)
More frequent, and beige curtains! and BTW, your videos are such a joy to watch. We just had our IVF egg retrieval this morning and are hoping and praying for our first baby. I hope we will be able to video document the process as well and as cutely as you two!
The curtains will depend on what you want to do with that wall. You have enough space that, if you wanted to, you could find a cute sign (like the long wood ones) to center above the curtains. In that case you would hang them low. If you aren't doing that than I would hang them just above the top of the window. Not too high, not too low. And I love the long videos, but I like it when you post a lot of them too. I guess I am selfish, haha :)
I just subscribed last week and already love y'all. I am about to be 30 weeks pregnant with baby girl number 2 and just think y'all are the cutest couple :)
Love you guys your makeup looks really pretty Ellie, I enjoy all the videos when I'm having a sad day all I have to do is look at you guys videos, you guys crack me up continue on being the loving family that you are and be blessed
I swear you guys remind me of the Shaytards!! Ellie even sounds just like Mommytard. It's like watching them get ready for their first son! So cute :) best family you guys! You're definitely something for others to aspire to!
I think the blue will look better because the curtains and the walls the same color I think will be kinda boring. You want the curtains to be higher then the window but remember you don't want the curtains super low because you don't want Jackson hanging on them and pulling them down on him! Anything you choose will look good. Good luck! I love you guys!
Hi guys! I think I said this on your IG pic, but I think the blue AND beige together (like a panel of each) would be cute together. Also, I think more frequent videos :) Oh, and if you mount your curtains higher up, it will make the room look taller. That might be nice depending on the height of your ceilings. We have fairly high ceilings in my house, so we mounted curtains about 4 inches above the actual windows. Can't wait to see your finished nursery! :)
I agree with the 84" curtains in blue, I think they would look super cute!.. and as for the videos.. the more of you guys we get to see the better! I love that you guys are sharing your journey and you both are amazing people! :D
Blue curtains will bring some color to the room. The walls are beige so I feel like the beige curtains would blend into the walls too much. Long curtains (84") should be hung to where the bottom of the curtains are just touching the floor. You guys truly are awesome! I'm so enjoying following your journey. I really like the shorter vlogs, more frequently. As an ex-vlogger, I think those are easier to edit too. =P
Hi jared and ellie...I have been following ur story for a while..u guys are amazing.. my husband and I start our ivf icsi treatment next :) after 7 years of trying...they do things differently here in the uk.. but after seeing u both and how much u wanted a family always brings a tear to my eye knowing how hard it is to have a family.. To jareds questions. I prefer shorter and more videos.. Ellie u look amazing.. defo blue curtains..p.s my twin will love that giraffe. .I need to buy her 1 :)
I like the blue curtains instead of the beige curtains since the walls are close to the beige color. If you hang the curtains a little higher than the window, it gives the illusion that the ceilings are higher which goes with your "rich" theme. :). I like the longer videos. Happy Halloween! 🍁🍃🍂🌻
Blue curtains would be really nice. Blue is a soft, soothing color that is really relaxing. Curtains should go to the ceiling. And the giraffe name should be George!
Lol you guys are the best couple yet! I loved when he scared you lol. You have the cutest laugh ever and I cannot wait to meet the little guy! :) you should go with the beige color curtains
Orange is my favorite color plus is you going to have blue in the sheets, orange will complement the whole theme, plus match the giraffe that btw is so cute! For the videos I will say that I love to see you guys so I will love longer videos!
Hello Ellie and Jared! Love all your videos but I like the long ones a little more. Just love the everyday goings on in the longer ones! I think the blue curtains too. I am guessing that you guys are renting and can't paint so maybe the blue ones will let you feel like you really put your stamp on it. Also Ellie, love the eye make-up. Will you do a tutorial for us? Thanks you guys. God bless!
blue because i am afraid that the beige will blend in to much with the walls .... :/ i also feel that the blue next to the dark crib and chair will look so good . curtains should go to the floor seems to be so in style lol
You look so beautiful Ellie! As for the curtains I don't like curtains that don't reach the floor but then that could be dangerous when Jackson starts exploring. And for videos, I don't mind either way because it is what you want to do and its the effort you guys take in editting and putting them together, though I always love watching your videos (:
Definitely go with Beige curtains!! And when he grows up it can evolve with him. Plus I think beige curtains makes the room look "cleaner". Just my opinion though! :) AND honestly I like long videos but also frequently lol. RUclips is my TV and I know a lot of subscribers are the same way. It's like watching a reality show and being antsy on waiting for the next episode! lol Doing a "day in the life" is a favorite of mine as well ESPECIALLY after you have Jackson too!
Hi, I think if you do mix , short or long videos, but any way all the videos are great. For the curtain , I think beige will be better bc the furniture is darker and the bed is dark with blue cover. the beige will give a good connections and a nice combination. will see u soon. Hanna.
Thank you for your input. The curtains in my bedroom are 84 inch and they go a couple inches above the window and just a little above the floor. So not quite ceiling to floor. You think that will look good?
Hi guys! Just my personal opinion but the orange curtains look really cute with the giraffe, but if not I'd do beige to keep the soft richness of the room going, I'd also get some brown and orangish picture frames maybe, but that's just my opinion cause I like to be different from the traditional blue for boy pink for girl, I'd definitely mix it up a bit :) but either way his nursery will be perfect! :)
Ok so, as for curtains, I think I'll vote for beige. Maybe if you do a photo collage have some of the mats in the frame be blue, even maybe different shades of blue and some orange? As for videos, I think shorter more frequent videos would be awesome but I'm cool either way. And my son was the same way with the Doppler :)
blue curtains would look so nice!! the room already looks nice love that giraffe! as to the length i would make them shorter my reason i have a 2 year old and when she learned to crawl and stand up she would pull on the curtains so we would have to tie them up so she would not pull them, so just have that in mind and i loooooove your videos!!!! shorter and more would be fun!!!!!

I would say the beige curtains. And I agree with others just more videos I always enjoy watching. I really like the videos you put of the things your getting the baby. What baby items do you like so far? Stuff like that. I'm 17 weeks now and super excited to meet our little one too!
The day George entered our lives
hey I love you.

Light blue floor to ceiling curtains. You need some color and light blue isnt overwhelming

Love you guys your makeup looks really pretty Ellie, I enjoy all the videos when I'm having a sad day all I have to do is look at you guys videos, you guys crack me up continue on being the loving family that you are and be blessed
I would do the blue curtains, especially if your not painting. Also I'd put the end table under the window closer to the rocker recliner.
curtains: beige and long
video: long!
giraffe: LOVED!
They should go above the window half way between the ceiling and top of the window frame. You will be amazed by how tall it makes the room feel.
Blue, so you have the dark furniture and cream walls, and it can give a pop of color into the room apart from the bed sheets.
I say beige curtains, ceiling to floor! And more videos long or short! I love watching you guys!
I swear you guys remind me of the Shaytards!! Ellie even sounds just like Mommytard. It's like watching them get ready for their first son! So cute :) best family you guys! You're definitely something for others to aspire to!

lol Y'all are hilarious. I love the Giraffe. Can't wait to see the next videos.
I like shorter, more frequent videos. It's nice for when I'm running around the house and only have a few minutes to sit down and watch. :)

Short and often, lovin your vids, u guys are sooo fun to watch, we have a 8month old son, Nevan, love Canada
Longer videos!! I love you guys . You guys are sooo stinkin cute
I like the longer videos. You guys are so cool.
i like the giraffe by the closet. also i think the beige curtains that way it blends into the walls and doesn't pop to much :) you guys are so cute

Am I the only one who laughed hysterically when he pulled the feet holder thing out all the way haha
Blue curtains, orange deco pillow, videos I'm new but I think more frequent long or short. Love the giraffe
Blue is relaxing too
Love love love your sweatshirt! Super cute!
I like the longer vlogs and either blue or orange ceiling length curtains :)
Orange is my favorite color plus is you going to have blue in the sheets, orange will complement the whole theme, plus match the giraffe that btw is so cute! For the videos I will say that I love to see you guys so I will love longer videos!

I love your videos xx

I think blue is best because it will go with the theme
and also I like longer videos once a week. please respond
-amanda
blue because i am afraid that the beige will blend in to much with the walls .... :/ i also feel that the blue next to the dark crib and chair will look so good . curtains should go to the floor seems to be so in style lol
Loved the video like always! Short or long :) love them!
Short and sweet.
You look so beautiful Ellie!

More frequent videos! And I think blue curtains would look so good with the bedding!
I like the once a week longer videos. Also I vote for beige curtains bc it is soft and goes w giraffe and versatile.
Hi, I think if you do mix , short or long videos, but any way all the videos are great.
For the curtain , I think beige will be better bc the furniture is darker and the bed is dark with blue cover. the beige will give a good connections and a nice combination.
will see u soon.
Hanna.
blue curtains :-) beige would blend in unless you want it to blend in :)
Start at the ceiling and go to the floor and blue!!
Ellie's laugh at 6:40 LOL, I'd rather have frequency, you guys always put me in a good mood! also, I think long blue curtains would go best :)
The longer videos are fine. Will be better for you once the baby comes along as well.
I think full length Blue curtains would look great and I really enjoy all your videos, especially the longer ones.
My grandma has a giraffe just like that! We got it for her because it is her favorite animal!!
Thank you for your input. The curtains in my bedroom are 84 inch and they go a couple inches above the window and just a little above the floor. So not quite ceiling to floor. You think that will look good?
I love shorter, more frequent videos! Blue curtains would be great because the room is white so it will give some more color! :)

You guys are adorable, so glad I subscribed to you get to watch you on this journey :-)
blue curtains would look so nice!! the room already looks nice love that giraffe! as to the length i would make them shorter my reason i have a 2 year old and when she learned to crawl and stand up she would pull on the curtains so we would have to tie them up so she would not pull them, so just have that in mind and i loooooove your videos!!!! shorter and more would be fun!!!!!
More frequent videos!
And the beige curtains/ longg!
I ♥ your videos! I'm glad the baby is doing great! Hes gonna looove his room
Lizabeth MA I think they got it from amazon that is what it said on the box.
I like the longer videos once a week.
Your feet are so tiny, Ellie! Me and my monstrous feet are so jealous. lol For the curtains I think you should go with the blue. I think that the beige would make the room look a little washed out because it's too close to the wall color. And if you want contrast you could always buy a rich brown fabric (to go with the dark furniture) to tie back the blue curtains. Can't wait for the next video!
P.S. I love your eye makeup in this video. Do you know the names of the shadow you used?
Vote for blue! You need some color in there. There are a lot of neutrals going on. P.S. I live in the same county as you and it is fun to see all the places that I recognize. :) Congrats on the pregnancy!
More frequent videos please! Love the giraffe !
I would say the beige curtains. And I agree with others just more videos I always enjoy watching. I really like the videos you put of the things your getting the baby. What baby items do you like so far? Stuff like that. I'm 17 weeks now and super excited to meet our little one too!
You should do blue curtains with orange wall art/accents within the room
I like the longer less frequent videos.
Blue :) As long as you dont have your wall art and accessories all blue as well
all the way to the top of the room and beige.. it will fill the look of the room- and u were right, the blue will be boring at one point :)
You need some color in that room, maybe light blue ( keep it the warm in the room you want ). Curtains as high as they can go :)
