When your wtitting an essay are you suppose to use past tense or present tense

You can use any, as long as you stick with one.you don't mix them up...if it's past,you use past through out...and the same with the present

We may not necessarily look at the words per paragraph but the whole essay should be at least 450 words. The critical point is to ensure that your paragraph has topic sentence and the background information answers the question and enough to give you two marks
