Truth is, we like to run trap off the quick pitch action. If the ILB flies out, we like to run trap. We have the weak belly, trap, quick pitch, counter and power out of our twins TE set as well as midline weak.
This play is really good versus inside pressure. The ball is on the perimeter so quickly and when the HB cuts back, no LBs in there. Crack with the X (2:25 ouch!) and puller on the CB.... like stealing! Doing it from unbalanced and with Fly Mo is just mean.... 🤣🤣🤣
I love the older offenses. They’re so effective.
Systems run with rules and precision will score points…does not matter the offense. Unfortunately, everyone wants fluff
What is the companion play to this. Quick trap? Do you ever motion the FB out to the edge. Just curious.

We love it and have different ways to block it as well as jet. We have a video on how we do all of that and checks that work with it
@@ECoachInn Obviously it is a good play for you guys. Your kids are well coached and know whom they are blocking. Keep up the good work!
Who's that number 11? Good athlete. And such a great, simple play.
