It's a great idea to sign Monika Cziniano as a back up center for Boston. The points production will not decrease that much because of Clark's familiarity with her.
Look at how hard it was for Gustafson to make the league and she was the national player of the year. I don't think Czinano is ready for the league yet. even as a back-up.
If the Fever draft Caitlin Clark and trade for Megan Gustafson, I would consider leasing a summer home in Indianapolis. I've seen every game of both players and each deserve each other. They are smart, talented, good natured, and have a superior work ethic. Like their Hawkeye fans, they are very loyal and thankful.
Clark would make Boston unstoppable just like she did with cyzano. Clark will give her the ball in a position to finish in. Boston is excellent at finishing. If the defense sags on Boston, Clark will eat their lunch.
Stop the cap, 🧢 she’s not even a high champion. Let alone collage. What makes you think she’ll win any wnba rings? Raven Johnson is better than her with 3 high school national championship ring and one at South Carolina
Anyone with the opportunity, whether or not they need a point, the pick has to be Caitlin. She will increase attendance by 3500 or more overnight. She is going to increase attendance for every road game to.
I saw a draft projection that had Georgia Amoore falling to the second round, if that happens Indiana should get her, that gives Indiana three fantastic perimeter shooters. Boston would almost never see a double team and if she did the Indiana back court of Mitchell, Clark and Amoore would light them up.
Finally, somebody who is familiar with the rosters, prospects and performances of the WNBA, and posts some interesting information. Thanks, very interesting, and sounds good.
I cannot believe that I may now be going to see Caitlin Clark when she plays for the Indiana Fever. My husband doesn’t know what happened to me. I not only watch Iowa games but now I love the Big Ten teams too because of Clark. In my 60’s and never watch a college or pro women’s game ever until the 2023 NCAA Tournament because of Clark. Now I have a hat and a Nike Clark 22 shirt. That’s what this woman has done! She is the GOAT if you look at her as an individual and not based upon a loaded highly recruited team!
Hard for me to picture LA drafting Reese; unless she shows the ability to expand her game. Also, don't leave Paige out of the convo. If she finishes this year looking strong, I think she will be one of the top 4 picks. As an Iowa fan, I wouldn't mind CC staying another year, but I think she probably likes the Indiana option enough to jump. This looks like it could be a great fit for her and the team.
CC and Boston will be the next Indiana Fever duo once you build around depth and development, look out for future playoff contending competition that the Aces and Liberty 🗽 will be aware.
Good stuff! I have not been following WNBA, so this really fills me in. That would be sick if they can sign Gustafsson and Czinano, and I wouldn't be surprised to see both happen...
Let it be the Fab 4- CC, Boston, Mitchell and Lexi - plus an enforcer if that works in bball, plus a good defender. Maybe the defence just needs a better coach.
I couldn't believe the Fever brought Wheeler back in the first place. I'd get rid of Kelsey Mitchell also. When she gets the ball she dribbles too much, and the offense comes to a stop. I'd package Wheeler and Mitchell together in a trade for a bag of peanuts and a stapler.
the title of this video is outlandish… that team needs to be built around Aliyah Boston who is already a top 2 true post player in the league currently … not many teams in this league revolves around a guard. Aliyah is a literal GENERATIONAL player, her IQ for the game is next level for her age and experience, not many compare. I do think Caitlin would be a good point guard to pair with AB for the time being though.
only thing from the videos i agree with or understand: trade wheeler (agree) … meg isn’t a bad idea (understand) get SDS (agree) trade KM for MM (don’t trade her for marina but do trade her) get rid of AZB (agree, if there’s a good big in the 3rd round like Tamari Key get em) draft options is good
The WNBA has got to change from it's current mindset, high flying dunks are the #1 reason why fans attend basketball games, that is not going to happen in the WNBA. The #2 reason why fans attend basketball games is 3 pointers. No one wants to watch 6 bigs playing tip ball 3 feet from the rim, while 4 guards look on. If Amoore is available with their second round pick I would take her, that would give the Fever 3 outstanding perimeter shooters. Boston would rarely even see a double team, and when she did, either Mitchell, Clark or Amoore would light them up like a Christmas tree.
Your logic is sound. With What little I’ve seen the fever coach speak, I don’t think she’ll be too flexible. I think Stephanie white of Connecticut might be more flexible.
As important as the players, the Fever coach seems to be bad. Replace her with the best available. Make CC a playing coach if you can’t get a good one.
Im no Caitlin Hater. But people need to know that Aliyah Boston as a rookie was one of the best players in the league and she'll only get better. I just dont want Aliyah Bostons developmental growth to be overshadowed
I am not an WNBA fan or viewer, at all, I don't think I've ever watched a game even half of it, not even a championship game. But I have watched many WNCAAB games. I love Big ten and want to keep supporting Caitlin, so MAYBE I'll watch a few games and Caitlin. However, as much as Caitlin was amazing in her college career, she appeared helpless in her final two games, when she was being chased everywhere, could that damp her chances of being the first pick? She may be in the top three, but maybe not the first.
She'll still go #1 because she if the leagues "EYE CANDY". What should concern fans, is if her lack of defense and a mid-range game expose Caitlin...especially when she's going to have taller, stronger and faster players guarding her. The Fever will HAVE to have fast defensive guards to help Caitlin on D.
She was not really helpess in those last two games. In the UConn match her rebounds and assists are normal but her score is below her ave. Cuz they are stopping her from touching the ball as much as possible resulting in an also below her average shot attempts. In the SC match, while she did shot more, her efficiency was way worse than usual. Of course I applaud SC's defense but on a good day Clark can drain some of those contested shots, much more if she was having a great day. In the end, it felt like Clark was gassed out during those last two games, especially in the finals where she was caught in an off shooting day. In my opinion, there is a good reason for this. She was the most fatigued player in the court, nah, in the tournament.the start was not even the same. She entered the tournament more tired than most after contributing a lot of lifting for her team all season long and playing the most minutes. Then, their team was assigned to what people called the "death region" with a lot of strong teams. Iowa faced strong defensive teams starting from second round up to the finals and they barely made it through. Iowa's plays mostly revolve around CC, so obviously she is also the main focus of defense most of the time. This is why she almost never stops moving the whole game to get away from the defender and be open because she is their main scorer and playmaker as well. The opposing teams either send a double team on her or switch defenders in the course of the game to have fresh legs of defense on her most of the time. She entered the tournament more exhausted than anyone and then played 40 minutes in almost all of their tournament games except maybe the first round. Her body, especially her legs must have felt heavier than anyone else in the court at the start of that finals so her willpower is commendable. It was like a more rested SC team with balanced playing minutes distribution was facing an already battered Clark before even the tip-off began. It would already be nice if she could give 60-70% at most of her best in that condition. I am not making excuses for Clark and also not taking away the greatness of SC, they played better in that game and were the better team. I am just sharing my thoughts on what went wrong with Clark and Iowa in their Tourney run though I understand that their bench lacked depth compared to the other title contenders. This was, in my opinion the biggest reason they lost. While I respect and recognize the skills of their starters, but if Iowa had depth then Clark could have been more rested and if there are more threats aside from her then the defensive pressure on her might lessen. Still, Iowa has to use what they had so they had no choice but to overwork Clark in order to win. Which will surely backfire in the long run and it did. This is why pacing is important even in the pros, especially in the pros. I am sure their coaching staff also wants to do that but it was outside their current capacity. With all due respect to Iowa, while they certainly have good players, great team atmosphere, and I enjoy watching their basketball, if would aleady be good enough if they enter the ncaa tourney and probably win one match at most but I can't see them getting past the second round without Clark much less reach the finals back to back. That is how big her impact is to the team. Which is a double edged sword since the team is also affected greatly if she plays poorly in a particular day. Overall, I think she did not play that bad in the latest ncaa tourney as a whole. It's just that her last year's tourney performance was better. Personally, lifting a normal team by herself to be a powerhouse is more impressive than winning a chip with an already title contender team that people expects to win. She had an outstanding college career. Back to topic, she certainly deserves the #1 pick because she is the best and most impactful player in the draft. The popularity the league needs that she will bring is just a bonus to her great skills. She played really well despite all the stress and immense pressure on her shoulders of not only being counted on to carry her team to greater heights but also to lift the sport itself to the next level with millions of eyes watching her move as she brings more awareness to the game. After she joins the W, there will be less pressure on her since she does not need to do most of the work for her team with all those great and veteran players before her. She will probably be more at ease, play more freely and not force things too much. With her high IQ and athletic ability I am sure she can play D if she wants to, but she can't afford to do that before as she uses most of her energy in offense as her team's main scorer. I do think she needs a bit more muscle to be ready for the physicality of the league. Also she should attack the basket from the left more and practice more step back shots to the right as well for more attack diversity since people know she loves going to the left for 3s and going to the right for basket drives. Adding back some of her midrange game again would also be nice. My only concern is her transition adjustment period to the pros because she was quite spoiled in Iowa and the team was tailored around her. Still, I'm confident that she will figure it out cuz she is a fast learner and she has no choice but to do it to prove that she is a first rate player and that she belongs.
I think Kelsey vs Mabrey is close so I don’t blame anyone for thinking that. But draft picks are still valuable for the Fever. The way draft rules are set up it’s possible that they still end up in the lottery even if they make the playoffs this year.
This is the disrespect that these WNBA players are talking about. "Buliding around Clark"? Maaaan she has'nt even dribbled a WNBA ball yet. Thats Bostons team. Smh
Well, Indiana does indeed have Caitlin Clark, and I've said all along the Fever should package Wheeler and Mitchell together so they can be rid of both.
I think a team with multiple superstars ends up losing... New York Liberty is a good example... it's not about collecting best players, it's all about how a player respond the need of the team they're in, and that's how to win. Grace should go somewhere else. Her talents were clearly wasted by Indiana.
Kinda....The Libs just lost to a team that was better (that also has multiple stars, mind you)...Pretty much every WNBA team that's ever won has had multiple stars (the Indiana fever, ironically are basically the only example of a team that only had one star and won).

They need rebounderz defense players and someone to get CC the ball all the time without crying about whether they score or not they're not going to she is😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
She has a boyfriend?? Man the WNBA players will hate her and see to her demise. Kind of sad really, but those people are evil cruel, ruled by hatred. I dont think this young lady will save the WNBA.
If Caitlin Clark is answer, Then why are you want trying to surround her with these great players. Oh I see, if they win you can give all the credit to Caitlin.
I wish everyone would stop talking Caitlin going to the Fever. It's so far away and she's not going anywhere anyway. I'm sure she's sick of all the talk also, let her enjoy her college career!
Indianna is as close caitlin will get to Iowa. Minnesota aint getting a top 4 pick next year. There is no reason for her to stay. Kate and gabby will be leaving after this season. I dont see her wanting to stay at Iowa without them especially kate. Her bf works for the pacers. She will get to remain in the midwest and Iowa’s chances at a natty is already low and will be even lower next year. Everything is working out well for to leave. She did her 4 years she can move on
He isn’t on the team so how you come up with build up around him? I can live with build a team around Boston because she is already on the team. Caitlyn don’t play defence so I don’t want him on my team if I played for Indiana.
Caitlin has one of the defensive ratings in the nation so she plays defense. Yey, she can't put her full energy on defense because she has to pour in so much offensively. In the WNBA that changes because she doesn't have to put 30 to win so she can focus on offense and defense. It's called a simulation. If they get Caitlin it would be smart to build around her than Boston because Caitlin is a point it hard to find those in women basketball.
@@timothywilliamsjr2218you can’t be serious if you said it’s hard to find pg’s in women’s basketball. What’s hard to find is a big like Boston who doesn’t have a weak spot in her game. Any team that has a dominant big like Boston will get rid of that pg anyday of the week before her

@@Coachjay3If she were going to a team like Iowa where she had to do everything ,I would be more concerned but with the Fever,She has an elite bigs in Aliyah and Nalyssa with a stellar scoring guard in Kelsey so her work is very minimal which will help her thrive more

Once Caitlin Clark learn how to dunk in a WNBA basketball game, all bets are off.
FOR REAL!
Clark fans will never forgive Sides for the way she is coaching, even if they win a championship! Sides needs to go now!
Need to keep Wallace
I bet she comes back to Iowa next year!
I thought so too until I read her serious boyfriend former Iowa basketball star just started working for the Indiana pacers this September. With Indiana's history of basketball fever and the hottest ticket in basketball, they can't miss.

I hope she stays, more money, more education

I Guarantee one Thing, you will Never Win a Championship with Caitlin "Choking"Clark.
Being popular doesn't win games.
Ok I’ll bite, how did she choke? When she played SC and scored 30 but her bench scored 0? AB is going to have a great year from getting passes from CC
If you have seen how she passes the ball you already know the answer…
The guards you mentioned will get smoked on the defensive side of the court.
I wish everyone would stop talking Caitlin going to the Fever. It's so far away and she's not going anywhere anyway. I'm sure she's sick of all the talk also, let her enjoy her college career!
I haven’t done a WNBA video in months I just wanted to give them some love lol
She literally liked a photoshop of Boston and her in a Fever jersey after they won the first pick. She's absolutely a goner😂
She did her 4 years she can move on
Build around AB.
Doesn't matter, Clark will generate some interest for a few games but then it will be back to the same WNBA that no one watches.
Like you would know
He isn’t on the team so how you come up with build up around him? I can live with build a team around Boston because she is already on the team. Caitlyn don’t play defence so I don’t want him on my team if I played for Indiana.
Go crawl back under your rock.
Any team that has a dominant big like Boston will get rid of that pg anyday of the week before her
@@chrisj6express Nobody is getting rid of Caitlin Clark. Also building around Clark doesn't mean Indiana becomes a 1 woman show.Take the Aces for example, they are built around Aja but she doesn't do everything for them
You already using the wrong pronouns makes everything you say completely stupid and brainless. Grow up
Yes, make cheap shot on rookies video. Will be click bait.
Build a team without him, there may be trouble in the locker room if he plays there. How would a lesbian based team gets pregnant look at the WNBA? This is the question I’m looking at.
I'm Glad your not the GM
trade wheeler
😂Man what? Get rid of the best guards on the team for mabrey and to let Clark shine ? Don’t sound like winning basketball .
How do you think Indiana got 2 back to back #1 picks? Their current formula isn’t working, it’s time to change it up.
@@maxpower247 or maybe they need help and Clark will be that help. And if your going to trade away players like that, you need draft picks or players better then just mabrey. You practically giving them away for free. And who is grace, Caitlin and mabrey going to guard? lol also that’s not enough scoring because you don’t know how Clark will turn out in the W against bigger, stronger and faster players.
@@Coachjay3You had me till you questioned Clarks ability against the pros. She's a generational 3 level scorer and an elite facilitator. She's going to be fine
@@giizodamulla7492 I know she will be an impact but how much of an impact?confident enough to just give away them players like that. We don’t know if she’a going to come out the gate and give the league 20 her rookie year. I doubt it.
@@Coachjay3If she were going to a team like Iowa where she had to do everything ,I would be more concerned but with the Fever,She has an elite bigs in Aliyah and Nalyssa with a stellar scoring guard in Kelsey so her work is very minimal which will help her thrive more
It's hard to play against women men
Maya Moore should come out of retirement
Indiana is not enough for CC ,may be Indiana is great team but they will never win no matter what ,
lol, are you trying to Teraform the league??
Caitlin doesn’t have any championship rings, why should anybody build their team around her. Obviously what’s she’s doing is not working because she doesn’t have any rings not even in high school. Raven Johnson is better than her.
So what your saying is put all the white girls on Indiana's roster. lol
Indiana should get Paige , you gotta have a defense to get the chip.
If Caitlin is smart she’d go to Super League. The WNBA is trash.
what is the Super League?
Bad take
LOL some of the worst takes possible. So bad 😂
Who cares
way more people than the amount of people who care about you!!

Trade erica shes a poison to the fever she needs to go this is caitlin show now
You were wrong about Erica Wheeler being a "problem" for CC.
