Im happy with my performance here! i just wanna take the time to thank you guys, and also i wasnt nervous here but i was happy to make top 16!! i have some problems with the mic up there i think thats why i show show nerves! but KRNFX is a beast and i really am happy :) Also, i REALLY feel this battle has gave the wrong impression of my style, i was trying to conserve beats and different styles and my performance here really doesnt represent my style too much, it would be really sick if some of you guys could check my other stuff because watching this back it doesnt seem like im watching me!

Terry had way more structure, D-Low is so unique though, probably the next UK champ. I do think krNfx won this 2-0. D-Low's second round was much better than his first though, was a closer round for sure.

+funky “McK1uckn” juggles its having more beats to build up the drop where D-low was using drops as the medium for his structure which was cool but its not the way to win a battle
Brandon Christensen that's no determinate of structural quality, by any stretch. if it were every composition would follow the exact same structure. only the saturated and insipid pop-cum-electro-cum-every-musical-culture that's-been-hackneyed-to-death market that krnfx here parrots to absolutely no intuitive merit (in my admittedly not-so-humble opinion) decides so by it's reductive conventional wisdom and circle jerking nature.
what im essentially saying is i personally detest rewarding the boring artist for playing it safe and tell the other one that's what they need to do. And that i do not consider structure and a prescriptive blueprint everyone has to follow to the letter, simply any successful interpretation of cogent musical flow. i mean who on earth could say that skiller's performance last champs was typical in any traditional definition of structure? you couldnt, but can anyone convincingly say anyone but him deserved to win it, cos i personally dont think so

krNfx had way more structure, people are being fooled by power, just because some lip rolls sound cool because they are powerful doesn't mean something more chill isn't good, looks like everyone just want powerful in your face beats, it's not all about that.

napom was overall better, but everyone seems to cheer for the guy who did more powerful beats, and not looking at the round as whole, i didn't say i was the only one who gets, and maybe you know more than reeps one, skiller and dharni right

D-Low improved a lot
D-Low is a great talent, but to all the people complaining that the judges are stupid and D-Low should've won; you obviously know nothing about beatboxing. D-Low did great but he missed a lot on flow, variety and he made several mistakes. Krnfx kept a clean flow, looked more confident on stage and he didn't just focus on liprolls. Still, biggup to D-Low though, real talent! Just don't only use the same kind of liproll beats cause that will bite you in the ass when the results come out.
+TripleBeatbox Tell that lip roll thing to napom though. VICE CHAMPION. using majority of liprolls everytime. ITS ABOUT MUSIC. and stumbling doesnt mean anything either, so many people win even if they stumble.
+XXxQuikSc0perxXX Napom used his lip roll in many different ways though, while D-low seemingly used it in the same way most of the time.. and when Napom didn't use his liproll, he would still do some really good beats.

Are you kidding me? KRNFX's second round was basically just a freestyle which didn't offer too much overall, and his first round he spend too much time building in the drop... D low has way more to offer across both rounds, with multiple routines which all fitted well into one another, building up beats, good drops and also musicality... I love KRNFX but d low clearly should have won this.

Terry had the win guys. Live it was even more clear - D-Low had the bass but his buildups were very lacking and there were many people there that night whose bass sounded way better. Meanwhile Terry had some realy structured and experienced buildups, just look at his first round, that would work as a track! And his highlights weren't really worse than D-Lows live. After seeing the performances I would have been very surprised if D-Low would have won this.
Yeah it's not all about buildups, but spamming power is super lame. Just like breakdancing - people who only do powermoves without any toprocks, freezes, buildups, are considered great athletes, but terrible dancers.

Mylo Kurt you must be new, krnfx is a big name in the beatbox community even before he collabed with youtubers. he beatboxed for 10+ years. krnfx also got mad style, a perfected one, the overall routine forms complexity, not just technical beats that d-low makes. for me d-low may take some times to reach krnfx 's level of mastery, its something beginners do not simply understand except experienced beatboxers, like the judges

I don't know man, for me D-Low was great indeed, but Terry just seemed more experienced in building the beat as a whole. It's arguably close, but in no way was D-Low robbed, his power just couldn't hold up to Terrys structure I feel. I absolutely accept other opinions, but the only choice I'd really disagree with would be the B-Art battle. Maybe a little bit Ball-Zee vs Alem, even through I understand the decision :P

it does not relate to the whole new school beatbox, nor did it say it, new school beatbox comes in varieties, and krnfx did not pretty much use his old school beats, thou the beats are some years old.
d-low got huge room of improvement i can see, his beats are overall mundane compared to krnfx, nice sound effects and complex patterns when looking at small portion of his beats, but probably overused pattern and lacks of something trademark, yet his beats do not synergize/organize well to form tracks like krnfx's normal routines, and many people can clearly identify a krnfx style when someone does it.
Krnfx last round was weak but his first round showed a lot of finesse that d low didn't have. However I think dlow will do nothing but improve from this.

It's true now it seems like anyone and everyone is an expert and knows what should have happened and how things should be. It's no longer about listening, learning and growing as artists anymore. Now it's more about "judging" and arguing over who did better and who is worse.
