This is the Orc-Now-Human campaign of Xetanth87's race swap of Warcraft 3: Reign of Shadows. Play the original Reign of Chaos Orc campaign from an Alliance perspective in an alternate, non-canon reality. All players are race-swapped, including your allies and your enemies! Some enemy races and units are custom.

Lol I imagine one of the trolls just picking up their pet captors and then year them at their enemies which scare the life out of them and the Velociraptor both confuse and delighted that it is eating flesh.
It looks like this entire campaign's missions are all going to be named after songs. I am entirely here for this.
And so begins the last Reign of Shadows campaign
Tyrande is a Shadow Hunter because you don't get to play with the Shadow Hunter hero in campaigns (except Rokhan but that's not a normal RTS campaign and he doesn't even have the Shadow Hunter ultimate, he has the Crypt Lord one)
I got the idea for the voodoo lounge from Legacy of the Void and SevenBlood's campaigns, but since I didn't want to add pre-game selection sections, I chose to give them to the voodoo lounge which was not used, as Reign of Chaos/Shadows campaigns don't have player shops.
I wanted to make Shandris a recurring elite unit and I thought making her revivable would make a lot of sense.
The tracking ability is inspired by a cut Wc3 beta upgrade that gave Headhunters ultravision. Here it just gives vision, but I also combined it with movement speed which can help when your training structures are far away from you army.
The voodoo spears are inspired by Huskar from DotA, who was based on the Troll Berserker unit.
The pet raptor ability is an improvement of my pet pig ability the Spearmen head in my Beyond the Dark Portal campaign, which you called Pig-Bolt. Unlike Stormbolt, these are actual units that bash a unit and then vanish. I chose to give them pathing now and they aren't as powerful. I think of them as a Hunter pet from WoW performing some Kill Command-like order. They don't suicide, they vanish until they are ready to strike again.
Headhunters say "New Troll Here" a line taken from WoW that references the Wc2 Troll training line. It made no sense for them to say "Vengeance for Zul'jin". Well it didn't make sense in the original either, but it's much worse in Alternate since Zul'jin isn't a troll

I was like "Ok so Shandris has a small Vampiric Aura, kinda pointless" and then I saw the Headhunters getting healed and damn that is so much better.
Edit: Yea I love that you included the uncommentated videos, I definitely missed you reading the voicelines but outside of that the gameplay is the best part. Hope your anniversary trip goes great!

Stuff changed from last version of this one - voiced shandris, new ui, troll cursor...yes, correct, orcs take the role of druids this time around, and you will love the hero abilities in store. That be shadow hunter's abilities on Tyrande(her tiger is quite impressive), some lines sound similar to original tho perhaps sourced from hots.
Not to be rude and no offence meant or implied, that "oh! ooh! oooh!" sounded rather double-meaning if taken out of context to the unwary.
Take a guess on what's the secret next time, and what instrument shall we be hearing later(with jay playing saxophone and that we're short a few from a full jazz band now :P).

jay you should look up iron marines. it's a phone game but it's a great RTS i'd like to see you play one day
As for a new series maybe you could check out Heart of Storms: Dusk of Draenor? You played through most of the first map during Maporino 2023. It has a involved installation process, but I'd say the campaign is worth trying. The missions are lengthy and complex, but the campaign has great attention to detail and explores a time period basically untouched by most Warcraft custom campaigns.

So in this reality Tyrande and Night Elves are Trolls and Orcs in a Half World Outlands and Undead Kingdom invaded by the Dark Void Legion. Bizarre timeline.
