I’ve just fixed mine by reversing the polarity of the cell - just unscrew the cap holding the plug in place, unplug and flip the plug 180 degrees, plug it back in, and it’s all perfect !! I’ve had this issue on multiple Intex pumps. I tried the rewiring tip many people post about, that didn’t work for me.
@@Motiv8Britainnewsdo you know what kind of plug that is or where someone who doesn’t have a spare might get one? I love the solution but without a spare I am no closer to getting my chlorinated powered🫠
@@Motiv8Britainnews I burned out my 12v transformer but it only does 200ma. I think I need a bigger transformer to handle the load. (I noticed yours is 1.7 amps. If I read correctly.)

The best thing I ever did was tie the intex unit to my truck and speed down the highway until there was nothing left.
Cheers Mate!
swapping the wires seems easier than buying multiple units to hack up the cable.
I had a spare

What is the amperage? I tried this and my 12v transformer heated up.
So did mine but it runs it perfectly

Do you?
Yes I do
But you speak wird
@@Motiv8Britainnews 🤣. 👍
It's to bad we don't know what the amp and volt requirements are for the Intex salt cells? This would be a great idea!
12 volts
How many amps is the transformer you are used?
