We have made this almomd bread so many times. It is seriously our favorite bread we have ever tried. Like you say, "Recipes are meant to be broken" and "use what you have on hand", so instead of chia seeds I use a mix of flaxseed and ground flaxseed. It's insane how yummy this bread is.
Love the no spend recipes! Thank you for letting us spend the day with you and Hubby. A little tip for cleaning the glass shower door (works on mirrors and windows too), use your swifter mop. Just spray your glass cleaner and the use a clean mop head to wipe the glass clean. The long handle saves you from having to bend down but the best part, no streaks! I learned this tip last year and wish I knew it sooner.
I hope you enjoy this full inspo video! As I shared in my community post I know many people (including myself when I lived in the Midwest!) deal with the winter blues so my hope is to share something for everyone in todays video to helpfully help inspire you!❤️
Just wanted to share that you have inspired me to reuse my jars now. I also am heading up a food drive at church. Your positivity has spread all the way to Indiana.
Thank you so much for your recipes and organization~ We are in the middle of moving and your videos help me so much to find wonderful recipes and ideas when I do not have an idea of what to make :) Have a great day :)
Great all-inclusive video! I could not agree more about liking a clean space with no nick-knacks, clutter or stuff all over the walls! Your home looks great.
Thanks for another awesome video! Just a little tip I have an all glass shower also and find that if you squigee it after every shower it keeps the glass from having any hard water build up. Hubby and I both do this now and I love how even throughout the week on my non cleaning days the shower is always clean!
Yes we have a squigee in the shower in the corner (you can kinda see it!) we do that after EVERY shower and than I like to wipe it down with windex once a week too! I think the sqiugee is a LIFE changing hack everyone should use regardless if it’s a glass shower or not! It will save all the time for cleaning!
Easiest and best two shower hacks I've learned: squigee and dawn/vinegar mix in a sponge wand. No harsh or expensive chemicals and a sparkling shower every time.
Your house is really coming along. It’s such a beautiful home. I hate doing floors too. I can’t stand it. I love to do laundry and fold it all perfect. I don’t mind doing dishes and cleaning the bathroom, because it’s so satisfying to see it sparkle ✨
I have these containers for spices and put the stickers on the lids as I have a spice drawer and can see at a glance where the spices are that I need as I put them in alphabetical order 💕 By the way I love the fun you and your husband have together it’s so lovely to see x
I hate sweeping and mopping but I got a shark vacmop and it is seriously life changing. I literally could not live without it and I got my parents and mother in law hooked as well. Highly, highly recommend.
I like our new vacuum I think its the art of doing it I really dislike but hey listen I'm not gonna fight my hubby off when he offers to vacuum!! I'll mop!
I’ll just echo everyone else. You two are so darn cute. The love you have for each other comes through so clearly. It’s wonderful to see. Your home is coming together so nicely. I’ve always needed to live in a place for a while to figure out what I want to do to it. Always love your cooking videos too. Keep doing what you’re doing! ❤️
Yes that’s me too Colleen!! I love that I don’t feel rushed to purchase anything I could live as we are with just my kitchen and I’d be happy! Decor and furnishings take time for me! And thank you ❤️ you’re always so nice and kind in the comments I always look forward to seeing what you say when I see your name pop up in a notification
@@flourishingmiranda you're welcome. I think the trolls out there are just awful. I don't understand why people are so hurtful. I want to be supportive and encouraging for all the time, effort and thought that goes into your videos. 😘
You two are the cutest. Loved watching how you make chores fun. My favorite is organizing/decluttering because it makes the most long term impact. My least favorite, cleaning ovens for sure! Thank goodness for self-clean to make it go quicker.
You inspire me so much. I am on WW and I love cooking with beans. I’ve made it a mission to have at least one vegetarian meal a week, it might turn into more because of the ridiculous price of meat now. Anyway wanted to let you know I’m sitting here watching this while eating a clean out the fridge/pantry soup. Curry cauliflower soup. I roasted cauliflower and the one yellow bell pepper. Added some coconut milk, chickpeas and lots of seasoning. It is delicious It’s supposed to be for lunches but I’m literally eating it for breakfast.
I made the bread and it’s so good. I think later I may make a sweet-ish version. Thank you. This is the first savory type GF bread I’ve ever made that was edible. I used a bread pan with parchment paper (because I looked at that link you gave, thank you). Loved the whole video and the look. I look forward to your videos every week.
I’m so happy you made it!!! And thanks for the beautiful feedback I thought the bread was so good too and I had very low expectations because many GF bread recipes I’ve tried just haven’t worked but I do agree this would be really good as a sweet bread too!!!
The bread looks great! I have recently gone gluten free. Would this bread work well for sandwiches? I have been missing them. Thank you for sharing these 😊
@@Jw-jn7bf well I didn’t follow the exact recipe because I had some oat flour, almond and GF but I would suggest trying it. It would work for spreads for sure. I ate it with some hummus.
For the brown rice can better digested if rinsed well n then soaked over night rinse then cook..its helped me extremely well when eating brown rice and also, I get sprouted brown rice (short grain) brand: lundberg cooks in 30 minutes from my local whole foods store in my city. I hope this helps you and whomever view your videos..luv your videos and content..keep them coming💕💕💕💕
I’m definitely going to try all three of these. I think the last dish with the bread will be excellent for lunches. I just want to give a word of caution everyone, if you are using almond flour and have children be careful if you’re sending it to school with them. A lot of schools are still nut free and that includes almond flour.
Hopefully parents and care givers know this!🥰 my husband is allergic to almond flour and I’m allergic to peanuts so I just assume everyone knows the allergy agendas!! Thanks for the reminder!
I enjoyed this video. I like the variety of cooking, cleaning and decorating. When you were videoing you’re pantry I noticed jars of Brazil nuts. Please tell me how you get them. I am unable to find just Brazil nuts in my area (MS Gulf Coast). Thank you for the caring way you share your content, it’s inspiring.
I get them from a website called “nut stop” it’s where I get all my dry nuts in bulk! Same here a lot of nuts you can’t get in stores anymore they’re always out of stock
I really love your home! You have such great ideas! I'm not much of a decor person either. I do like a couple of plants maybe, not a jungle! And a few well chosen wall hangings, but that's it. She talks about how long it takes if you don't soak aheaf d time. The rice is so fluffy and is not mushy and doesn't stick together. maybe this will help with the digestion too!
I see you often add your lemons to your cooking, but I don't think I've ever seen you add the zest... this will greatly extend the lemon flavor you are going for.
Its because my zester broke and I've never gotten a new one! Usually after I squeeze the lemons I drop them in my water bottle or glass of water so I don't waste them but you're right! The zest is all the flavor!
@@flourishingmiranda I just bought a zester and still haven't used it yet. I'm excited to start, as I really love lemon rices and pastas and I can't wait to really pop that flavor in my cooking.
