A tip for when you forget stuff....
I always pack the bag the night before so I am not rushing around the morning of, trying to remember everything while getting distracted by two kids.
Packing the night before when the kids are asleep helps you focus so much better!
Also, another thing I do is always keep a care box in my trunk. It consists of diapers, wipes, outfit, socks, hat, jacket, extra pair of shoes, first aid kit, tissues, hand sanitizer, dry snacks for our older son, and whatever else makes sense for your child and their age. I put toys from the $ store in there too for when we stop at the park or splash pad areas. 😊
I grabbed the plastic bin at costco. You can buy 2 or 3 and stack them.
When our son was a newborn, I got stuck in traffic for an hour once and didnt have any bottles for him. It was horrible and I felt so bad. I told myself, never again!! After that day, I always keep my trunk stocked with essentials.
I also take a cold pack bag wherever we go with snacks & water.

You can do a costco haul and film how you organize your car to be prepared for any "storm!" 😊❤

Yall are amazing 🤩 parents ❤ thank you for being so open and allowing us into your lives on a daily basis your inspirational to so many the love between you is such a blessing❤ I have a lot of hard times and sad days more than happy days since losing my husband three years ago but I keep pushing forward because I've got four babies relying on me to be there for them and I know they need me but I'm not going to say it isn't the hardest thing some days to get out of bed because I work so much and can barely put food on the table I don't have families so it's just my kids and myself I probably wouldn't be where I am today mentally without some of you creators on RUclips you guys are inspirational when I don't feel like I can push through or I feel defeated I get a video from you guys or one of the few other people that I truly am inspired from on this app and it helps with a smile on my face😊 just know you guys are amazing people you both have such an amazing souls and I am truly grateful that you allow all of us to be a part of your journey I'm usually a silent watcher but I just thought you guys should know that so many people are inspired by you and even if it's just me you helped today which I know it's way more just know you helped push me to smile and to fight one more day that things will get better I just have to have faith pray and that things won't be so hard I just wanted to be easy to put food on the table and feed everybody today I work my butt off but not having my husband and our dynamic that we did together has been such a reality check all while dealing with covid and prices and Bill's going through the roof😊 life is just lifing and I'm just taking it day by day I love you guys I love your beautiful daughters I love everything about your platform and I wish nothing but the best for you all

Hey y’all! Love y’all videos. We did the Ferber method for our toddler! It’s similar to the cry it out but you can check and reassure your toddler in increments. It’s took our toddler about 2 solid weeks but it worked and now I can lay her down with out her being sleep. ❤
How old was she ? I have an 18 month old and since February she REFUSES to sleep alone. If I even get near her bed she screams. I tried the Gerber method and one minute into it she screamed so hard she threw up. And I just couldn’t do it. 😭 so we have been bed sharing since February

If the key fob dies, place the key fob next to the Start/Stop button and the car will start. Or you can press the Start/Stop button with the key fob.

Thank you two for sharing ya'll beautiful family with us. I am currently 32 weeks pregnant with my second baby but my first is 9. I won't have 2 under 2 but I can only imagine how the newborn phase will go. It's been so long since I had a newborn, but also seeing ya'll hold Starlie excites me for when my baby comes. Also, I love Sav"s laugh she is such a vibe.
I have two boys; 7 and 2. The age gap worried me at first but they are amazing together and the best of friends! My older son is such a big help and of course our younger son thinks he's the greatest. It is sweet to watch.

I'm not sure if y'all have family near by or friends that you trust with the baby but definitely start asking for some help. It will allow her to gain independence and to understand that it's not always mommy & daddy.
My 2 year old son always wanted to be held as a newborn and he was so darn cute that I just did it and I will be honest, he became super attached to me and had a hard time when I would leave the house. He would cry with his dad, his grandparents and any other baby sitter or family member who came to watch him. He was like this until about 1 1/2 and it was stressful at times to see him so upset. He would quickly stop crying within 5 mins of me being gone but it's healthy to get help and have Starlie be around other people too. My biggest advice is, stay consistent!!
I know it's hard but I agree with leaving her for increments of time and letting her cry certain situations out. 😐
The more you hold her, the longer it will take to ween her off of depending on you. My son is now two and he's just becoming independent. It's my fault. I hate asking for help.
What also helps is having her in her own crib, in her own room. I know she's young and you're breastfeeding but the sooner she sleeps alone, again, she'll gain independence sooner.
The feedings are exhausting. I get it. But going to another room and nursing her in a chair is going to allow her to realize that she has her own space and it's ok to be alone.
Hope some of this advice can help!

🌟SAV 🌟 when you have those moments when both babies need you (like at nap/bedtime) and you can only tend to one focus your mind to all the times you’ve been there to rock your baby to sleep. I know it’s hard to get out of the mindset of focusing on the moment your in. Just say to yourself, I’ve rocked Ri (spell?) to sleep every other day/night this week but in this moment Starlie needs me and I’ll give her extra cuddles the next time or a special treat when she gets up. Both of you are doing great👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

There should be a spot in your car when you can insert the key fob if it doesn’t have a key inside of it. Check the middle consol.
There is few in Cincinnati. Key issue, you should have a key in the fob and then the key whole to get in the car you will have to unhide. Once in the car just ou the fob up by the button to start it 😊

When savannah said she was balling while alone with both trying to get riella to sleep while trying to care for starlie I felt that 110%. I feel you should start to think about transitioning ri into a big girl bed so you or Josh can lay with her rather than hold her. Just a thought. Having two babies now I just sit and feed my son(baby) while sitting in my daughters (toddler) bed and it makes bedtime/ nap time so much more manageable for me. ❤️ hope you can find something that works for you three when Josh can’t be around. I get jealous that you have Josh with you most of the days of the week because of the work you two do, my husband works full time all week and we get only weekends and late evenings together.
If you put the key fob when the battery dies over the push button to start the car, just push and it should start the car if the battery dies. 👀 it has worked for me!

You can change out the battery on your fob for really cheap. If you have air tags on your keys it can kill the fob battery.

7:55 Nap time and bedtime when my husband isn’t around, is a juggling circus lol we still support my now 3 year old to sleep and snuggle till she falls asleep. Which means I can only put her down if her 1 year old sister is also asleep.
Her little sisters temperament is such that she wants to put herself to sleep and does not need the same support. God knew what he was doing when he hand crafted each of us. Because her sister doesn’t need support, it all balances out nicely.
When my husband is out during naps or bedtime, I can quickly put my 1 year old asleep while her sister relaxes and then I cuddle her to sleep after. It all works out!
My push to start car had a little place on the left where you could slide the key thing in. Not a normal key but the little fob lol like where your trunk buttons ans stuff would be

Btw cry it out method is absolutely fine with a toddler ♥️ i done the ferber method as soon as my daughter turned 1 i had to just give it a try as i work evenings and it took 2 weeks but honestly the best thing i have done now she just chills in her cot and falls asleep when shes ready 😊 i only have ever left her to cry for 30 minutes at most. But i know her cries those cries that last that long was overtired cries lol 😅

Put the fob in the cup holder and car will still work.. to open door, pull regular key out of the fob

Depending on the car there’s a place for you to put the wireless key.. my moms has her wireless key and you can open it to have a regular key but as far as I know it’s just for unlocking the car. My mom has a 2018 Chevy traverse and her key did this the place she has to put it is at the very bottom of the center console there was a spot carved out for it and it will let you drive and everything til you get a chance to change the battery

for the car key thing you can order a new one and get it programmed to your car. I would go to your maker’s dealership they probably have them on hand and can do it quick!

My one and a half month old doesn't like to be put down either. I swaddle her before I put her down and that helps! Don't know if you guys have tried it. Also, I swaddle her then put her in the swing
I think there should be an actual key in the key fob that you can use in case you need it!
i keep a small storage tote of diapers, wipes, change of clothes, snacks in the car!! drink cup, you’ll always have everything for the kids :)

Bedtimes are the actual hardest for me with my 3 kids now (4, 2, & 6 weeks old). I don't sleeptrain, my 4 year old still would rather cuddle to sleep, my 2 year old still nurses to sleep most nights, and baby only likes to rock to sleep. Needless to say it's a 💩 show in the evenings especially when my husband is working lol
