- Hi Golden Tubes ... OK! I took a quick trip bush because my Dr. gave me three weeks off from my chemo treatment (I gained 3 kilos out bush and felt great!) ... And I take you on the journey with a step by step commentary on what I am doing, and why I'm doing it. Lots of food for thought, especially the finer points of prospecting for gold. I have a couple more videos to compose, so please keep an eye out for these over the next few weeks. Oh ... Yes it's amazing how the Aussie bush can make you feel. I don't get out as much as I like, but when I do I feel recharged, even though the body is in shock from a massive workout.

When I was fortunate enough to learn the opal game years ago from my old timer mate. He to taught me the importance of not leaving trails into new ground when prospecting. Not only that he taught me the importance of removing all surface trace when you did find a good show. Even if you throw it off into the spinifex any hungry dogs that might find it after a fire years later still won't know just how close they came to a good show.

Yes, bottom line is if you can hide all trace of your find, you can go back in the years to come and try that 'new' machine out ;-) Cheerio ...

@@prospecting101 Pushed in 2 areas about 50-100mm with no colour 1h each area. Some parts deeper to see if anything.
Doing a lot more detecting & loaming before I take my machine back on the lease.
Call in for a beer if your passing town Champ as I have a base there.

That's still the sentiment today, always will be with those that don't prospect, but scavenge ... OK well the gold price is pretty sweeeet huh ... And all those tiny bits add-up ... Love all your videos. I was thinking if your high geochem numbers put you into a place that should have golds. Is it likely that the geochem ppb numbers would be tiny fine gold, not course detectable gold? Would you loam at the high ppb numbers or is the geochem the loaming done for you and reported in their mining reports by exploration companies. Just thinking are high ppb always equal detectable gold. Thanks again
