I could listen and watch you crochet all day long. Today's "ah ha" moment came when you explained the 2 row repeat of the Tunisian crochet full stitch; off setting the beginning (and ending) stitch so that you don't make an increase. I don't know why it took me so long to understand, but you're explanation and me watching you do it was what did it. Thank you for sharing this delightful project. I'm starting one asap.

Hi Toni, I am giving this a try right now as I am an extreme beginner with Tunisian crochet. I made a year or so ago your Tunisian earwarmers and that was fun and addictive.. I've just completed my second row of the Tunisian on this bag and the only issue (which is a learning curve) is keeping the stitches pushed up enough to the front of the hook so it's not hard to do the stitches. I am also so used to holding the hook when crocheting so holding the hook with yarn over is a challenge butttt, this is very easy to do it's just a learning curve for me. I am using Bernat Home Maker yarn as it was all I had. Thank you for your well thought out and explained instructions on the beginner girl Tunisian crochet. Thank you

Toni, I love everything about your channel. I started crocheting at the beginning of the pandemic. I had a little experience with granny squares in my youth but otherwise was new to all the different stitches and patterns. I'm still very much a novice, but I love all the reviews you do. I'm venturing outside of Joanns and Michael's for my yarn now and I even bought a Tunisian hook and am going to do a pillow with the honeycomb stitch! Wish we lived closer. I know we'd be friends. ;-)

Just finished my bucket bag. Your tutorial gave me the confidence to go for the Tunisian crochet. Your instructions were very good but I could have used a bit more help on seaming the Tunisian crochet part of the bag. I used a variegated yarn and the seam really stands out. I’m not sure if my technique was lacking or if a solid color would have made the seam less obvious. I still think the bag came out pretty good and may take another crack at it. Thanks for the tutorial!
