Moon Knight is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin, the character first appeared in Werewolf by Night #32 (August 1975).[1]
The series follows Steven Grant, a mild- mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc's enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

As the biggest fan of both Moon Knight (from the comics, I haven't seen the show yet) and DPS, this was a dream come true. The lyrics really felt like they were from Marc himself. DPS's writing and delivery always match what the song is about. Not only that, this one sounded incredible.

Honestly my favourite part is that you can clearly tell that different parts are from the perspectives of different personalities, but you can never tell what point they split to the extent where it doesn't exactly feel real.

I have been listening to this for 5 months straight.
I’ve chosen to view it as Steven as the whole first thing for the most part. It’s very consistent in it’s words not necessarily his flow. Just what he says sounds like what a rich billionaire would say.
Then it goes to mark after the chorus, taking about his mind.
Then it switches again to Jake. Being ruthless. He even gives it to you “ pull Jake and they Vaca”… it’s so cool to see this.
And then around the end it switches marc as it talks about divorce and death

Something I really like about DPS is that each song is distinct from one another, like everything he puts out is just an experiment to test different styles and perfect a formula to be better than the last, it really lets see (and hear) how much he's developed from wherever you became a fan to where he us at now. I'm really glad I stumbled upon his work a couple of years ago. :)
Also for anyone to try listening to the song without watching the video at least once, it's a dope track even without the Moonknight name on it.

I already tweeted this at you, but in case you miss it here it is again; You are insanely creative, by far the most innovative in this sub-genre, and tbh I don't even hear rappers outside of this genre experiment this much, and this successfully. if this is what happens when you get more time between releases, keep that going man. Fore real, I loved reacting to this, and I missed a SHIT ton on my first listen that I caught while editing to video. Very layered track, I've added it to my playlist!
I have yet to hear anything for beats that slap this hard. Nerdcore rappers really are playing a different game.

Been hyped to hear this since I saw it announced. Some of those flow switches were the equivalent of taking a 90° turn on a dime, and it just fits too well.

I had zero intention of watching Moon Knight, but because I wanted to be able to catch everything I did. First of all, you're a literal alien, the amount of flow switches you did is inhuman sir. On a serious note, 1:02 when you cut the primary beat and left the Egyptian bells playing in the background give like this sense of dread or urgency, like you can tell this is Steven and then into the hook Marc comes back. DPS, you're actually a creative genius, and this my man is absolutely art.
This a solid 6/5 banger but then again you never miss! ✔️⚡
