I love the supergoop and tend to use it on days that I need to wear makeup. The Trader Joe’s is greasier upon application but I feel it dries down and absorbs into the skin after 10-15 minutes and at that point I don’t notice much of a difference between the two.
I scored enough Trader Joe's a few months back to last us the summer. Running low, I recently bought one tube of Supergoop Unseen and realized just how much I missed it. But, at $9, I'm watching the calendar for the date Trader Joe's is expected to be back in stock.
I may be in the minority, but didn’t care for the Super Goop Unseen feel on my face. 🤷♀️ Trader Joe’s is sold out at many stores, so when you see it, stock up ! I’m currently using, Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun : Rice & Probiotics SPF 50 PA++++, after trying sooo many sunscreens. It’s very lightweight, like having noting on. Tested by two independent labs also. Finally found my HG ! Maybe you can do a Korean sunscreen review ? 🤔🤔☺️☺️
Gah! I loved that Trader Joe's one but they were still out (for two months now) when I tried to get some yesterday. Fingers crossed they can bump up production on that one. It feels so good going on and doesn't seep into the corners of my eyes when I sweat.
I'm not paying $40 for sunscreen, period. I don't even like wearing sunscreen. But i have decided to do it because i don't feel like rashing up because of my sensitive skin. I have started using Trader Joes sunscreen and it's the only one that doesn't leave my skin super oily or give me bumps. I actually want to use it as a moisturizer year round. My face doesn't need much moisture but it needs something. All serums and light non clogging give me bumps or don't moisturize or both, TJs sunscreen has helped me retain the moisture i need to keep from flaking and my face doesn't get super oily throughout the day. I love it. TJ might feel oily at the beginning, but it absorbs quickly, as in I forget I put anything on. As someone who HATES residue of any kind on my skin, hair, etc...TJ is awesome. There's a reason why TJ is hard to find and it's not just because of the price. Most of the people buying up TJ products are walking around with Balenciaga purses, so they can afford the $40 dollar one.
The TJ’s one irritated my skin (and I don’t normally have sensative skin). And I find the texture to be like a light Vaseline, which I grew to dislike. It just feels very strange on my skin.
Finally got my hands in the TJ sunscreen. The silicony texture is not my fave but I am enjoying how matte it is and glad it doesnt irritate my eyes. My HG had been the La Mer fluid. Love the texture but that one turns me into a greaseball. I might give the SG Unseen a try next. Any recommendations for a clear sunscreen from Elta MD? Love their tinted
I appreciate you! I’ve learned so much and finally taken the initiative to help my skin. Any tips for constant puffy eye bags and dark circles ? Whether I sleep 2 or 10 hours my eyes bags are always puffy and purple and I’m 22 years old I’ve had this since high school
Thank you so much, i love Supergoop!!! I live in The Netherlands, i purchase it from the UK, but they don't have all Supergoop products there, and the American website does not ship to Europe. But i love what i CAN purchase, have sensitive skin. Thanks for the extra explanation, what is actually in it, how it works, really like your Channel, just subscribed!!! Have a nice day!!!
@@annemarietimmerman7213 Thanks. What makeup have you found to work well for your eyes? I use Estee Lauder base, but I'm always worried that they'll discontinue it like Merle Norman did the Aqua Base I used for over 30 years. The only mascara I've found that doesn't make my eyes water was made by Farmasi, but they discontinued it. I still use their eye liner. Eye shadow is something I'm still looking for too. I use Estee Lauder, but it doesn't stay on very well and neither does Clinique.
Hello im from the philippines and most dermatologist here if not all will recommend generic skincare that they rebranded for their clinic.. can you review LRP effaclar ultra concentre serum? What would you recommend to use as a substitute or routine on days in between retinol cerave resurfacing serum? Thank you..
Hi Dr! I always watch your vlog really love it anyway question is it ok in daytime I used olay vit c peptide 24 and olay vit c peptide 24 serum and at night I used olay retinol 24 n serum 24 is it ok that I used vit c serum daytime n night retinol 24 serum is it ok? Thank you
I’ve tried both and don’t care for either…I would wear them only on days that I don’t wear any makeup, I don’t like the way they feel under makeup. As for the difference between the two, it was barely perceptible in my opinion. Supergoop is overpriced, for such a tiny amount. If Trader Joe’s can make it for so little money, so can Supergoop. I’m sure I’m getting plenty of antioxidants in my other skin care, so that’s not an issue for me.

Maybe buy the Trader Joe's for use on the neck, and save the Supergoop for face and ears, so you can stretch your dollar a bit.
yesss I do the same, use a cheaper one for hands and neck etc and higher end one on face

Love hearing your take on it as well. Glad you stocked up on TJs 🙌
Shockingly the Trader Joe’s sunscreen is the ONLY one that doesn’t give me and allergic reaction and I’ve tried like 20 sunscreens!
I have very oily skin and while yes, at first application the TJs “feels” oily, it very quickly dries and I have no oil issues after application.

Good to know Doc, great comparison video! See you soon, Aloha!🤙🏼
Thanks Dr. D‼️Congrats on the growth of your channel. I agree with the wife and love Supergoop. 🤙
Aww thank you so much, my friend!
Could you use the Trader Joe's as a hand cream? The Super Goop hand screen is too expensive for my hands.

Yes! I hope they continue to make it since it’s an affordable alternative!

Does a chemical sunscreen help prevent sun/age spots or should we be using a mineral sunscreen?
You are always helpful. I so appreciate his video. I do like Super Goop. I will try Trader Joe’s
Supergoop Unseen texture reminds me of Bain De Soleil back in the day without the greasy feel. Still it is a fabulous product.
Thanks for the Supergoop review! I love this brand !,,
Good to know, supergoop is pretty greasy already I only reach for it when I'm going to have a sure chance of being in the sun.

What other products do you use. I have sensitive skin and I'm always afraid to try new products.
@@rroadmap Hi there! Isntree i also love for SPF, it's even softer than Supergoop, it's a South Korean Spf.

Great job! I totally agree with you!! I feel the TJ’s is a bit heavier and I prefer the Supergoop too. Thanks
Should I apply sunscreen at home?
You are the BEST! 😊👏😎
Appreciate you! Thanks for watching 🙏🤙😎

What is compare to sunscreen?
Does the Trader Joe's sunscreen leave a white cast?
We have hard water and sunscreen stains laundry, any sunscreens that don’t stain?
I love Supergoop!!
Solid pick!
Supergoop for days when your spending more time outside like at the park and trader joe’s for everyday.
Hi ♥ Just because I want to be like you 😌 which one is your daily sunscreen?? I want to use it too 😁
*SuperG00P* 🥀🕸for Me!
