This was sooo helpful I'm new to surf fishing in Maine for striper and u answered most lf my questions without speaking lol keep up the good work you earned my subscribe
Thanks glaad you liked it. Part 2 Premeires Friday August 4th @ 4:30 P.M. Most of my striper setups are backed with 50-60lb Braided line, 30-40lb monofilament , 50lb Saltwater Fluoro Leader line & a #6-8/0 Circle Hook with a beefy Uni Knot.
@@MainelyFishing1 Came back to tell you we caught 3 fish all in slot! Wow what a fish they are! The thrill I had when I landed these fish was better than any other fish i've caught so far.
Wow that must have been AWESOME!!! in part 2 of this video we brought a keeper home too they are tasty. They are an adrenaline rush to target & catch i'm glad you had a good trip.@@BelfastSquid
That’s great. I live in the Bath area. Do u have specific species you would like to target? Swan lake is not far from Searsport & has a lot of lake trout some Salmon & Bass, I’ve Ice fished there alot but bank fishing is limited. For saltwater I’d say Helen’s bay beach or if your willing to make the drive Reid State Park 1-Mile Beach has been good this year for Striper.
That’s just how I clean it off I love that knife and keep it very clean and sharp. Sorry about the music couldn’t adjust the volume using RUclips creator music. I have a few instructional videos on striper fishing this spring & summer though. Thx For Warching
Nice work. Keep making striper videos! Not enough videos of Maine striper fishing.

what kind of fish do you use for bait?
Mackerel usually
I love using live Mac’s when I can catch‘em. I use cut(clams, Pogies, blood worms, & Mack’s) & catch fish on it all so they aren’t too picky.
Popham
Where is this?
Beach southern maine
That looks like Popham beach?
@@Radjunglemc you got it
I was thinking about heading to Reid state park in the morning. I’ve caught some in and around Boothbay harbor but I’m looking for the big boy!
Have you ever fished the ledges at Popham?
@@Radjunglemc yes good fishing there sometimes too it’s all about timing
@@Radjunglemc I’ve caught two fish over 40” this year so far one from Reid I have some videos from there too
Why you show knife cleaning in sand . And too much bass music no tips on how
