NMS Can never be perfectly decent, it will always be shit regardless of what updates and patches it gets. Now if the game was released as it was supposed to be with all the bells and whistles that was promised, than it would be at this point perfectly decent.
It'll have factions, clans, massive multiplayer battles, fleets, character customization, skill tiers, hot Earl Grey tea coming out of the walls, the works. They're all in the next patch.
Ulysses its weird, there was a dynamic temperature system with cold resistant armor (infantry set) that they removed, best of all was a lack of a story or outpost, although it was still a bit linear in its progression. It really just comes down to the fact that i could play the alpha anytime versus now where i feel like gouging my eyes out whenever i have to play through the story. Ive played through and beaten both the alpha and the full release and honestly if you were to ask me I had a lot more fun in alpha
You see, No man's sky had the exact same list of game play requirements...except theirs had a typo. Their's said 'scam' game play mechanic, instead of 'scan' game play mechanic.
People in the comments need to stop praising NMS for what it is now. What kind of precedent is that going to set if a game takes over a fucking year to become even half of what it promised and you people just drink it up like a bunch of dehydrated dogs? Hey AAA games industry, if you give us a piece of shit glued together by lies and hype but you make it *eventually* somewhat resemble the thing we were promised, it's a-okay!
It just goes to show there's more than one sucker born every minute. Hello Games deserves .2% of a golf clap for actually developing content, at the most. People gave me hell over the fact that the "updates" are free and not paid for. Jesus fucking christ, the game is STILL $60 on Steam over a year later, a price tag that is very rare for *even AAA games to ask for*. Not only is their argument shit due to that content NOT being free, but content promised a year ago for being in the original launch, but their argument is shit because these fucking suckers would PAY FOR IT ANYWAY! With glee! With a fucking skip in their step, ready to scream at any criticism and show the world their passion for fucking stupid.
Hey now, Destiny started it two years before NMS! (And they made you pay more for it!) www.theguardian.com/technology/2015/sep/22/destiny-taken-king-review-finally-good-game www.dailydot.com/parsec/destiny-the-taken-king-review/ www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-09-24-destiny-the-taken-king-review www.theverge.com/2015/9/28/9407749/destiny-the-taken-king-review www.polygon.com/2015/9/28/9410531/destiny-the-taken-king-review
X'Elias of Rivia Um dude this is the norm now. Every game is like this. It comes out and its a buggy bare as bones pos and after a year or two it becomes what it was suposed to be.
I agree, although I will give Hello Games some credit. They didn't just drop it and forget it. They continued to support it long after release, so that does tell me that they are at least trying to make it work. I may eventually decide to get it.
...? Wait, sorry, did I miss something? I thought I said I probably would get around to it one day. Was the reply meant for me, or did RUclips tell me about a reply to someone else's comment? Sometimes their system confuses me.
I know people constantly shit on unity but this game (and other games like grow home) prove how the engine can be stylistically beautiful. The smoothness of polygons and lighting mixed with the use of bright colors has always been really appealing to me.
Cpt. Keaton People shit on Unity because they don't know that with game engines today, it's the graphical design of the game that determines the visuals. We're far beyond "engine limitations".
I like low poly And Disney kind graphic, i dont know like but for me it is better than this tryhard realistic one And I have good PC, i just like games like that.
Liked for the fabulous mustachioed vulpine. More games need foxes in general, but to go the extra mile to give a fox a mustache is a sign of high game quality and effort.
For what it's worth, Jim, NMS is actually decent after all the updates they've put out. There's a shell of multiplayer, and living on one planet is much easier now. Still doesn't excuse the botched launch, but just saying
Plus they are going to keep working on it! The multiplayer it has is just the beginning and eventually we should end up getting full-fledged multiplayer.
A S K I think it's by principle. People felt cheated and lied to when the game launched (and they were cheated and lied to), so they don't care if it's good now because they don't want to support developers who fuck consumers.
I find it intriguing the group of about 10 people who seem to be "patrolling" the comment section to make sure everyone knows "how great nms is now".. How a game that so thoroughly betrayed it's player base could inspire that "dedication" is amazing to watch, in a slow motion car wreck sort of way, lol (which is obviously the point of the video, thanks Jim XD). P.s. I assume this is your way to respond to what I can only guess must have been an influx of emails saying "OMG Jim have you looked at NMS recently!!? Update (whatever) is amazing and hello games did nothing wrong!!!11!!" After committing to not covering NMS any more.. So thanks for that, gave me a laugh :).
Hello Games doing the absolute least they can do after fucking everybody over is not cause for celebration or praise. They're doing the job obscenely late after lying through their teeth. That should lose them their damn jobs.
Yep. Little brown-nosing sycophants. They love to slobber all over Sean Murray's junk. Repeatedly. Just sad. They are 100% the reason these scumbag developers continue to release broken garbage. Pro tip: Hello Games is doing the very least possible to try to make amends for their b.s.
Yeah Screw HG for making a huge mistake with their 1st ever major game, but support EA and Ubi for screwing us with every single game they make. HG is fixing the game but meh too late, coz redemption is a new word to me. Normies and casual intellect.
"Hello you shit flinging flingers of shit who fling shit until all the shit's been flung." One of my favourites so far. 4 years later.... Yep. This is how I feel when I go on twitter.
You can't say "all done for free as well" as a point of persuasion when the things that are "all done" are half-baked attempts at adding in some of the things they lied about having in the first place.
Unfinished. As in the multiplayer that the game was sold on where you could meet up with a friend has been *kind of* added at last, except they've only got it working to the point where the second player appears as a floating orb that can't affect your world in any way.
I don't get that depending on the game, some people will bash the devs for forgetting about it and move on, like EA did with Mass Effect: Andromeda. And that game was "better" than NMS. A couple of months of negativity and EA closed the studio and put the franchise on hiatus. lol At least Hello Games, despite all the lies and false advertising, they are trying to improve the game even before the negativity of its launch. It shows that at least they care about their games which in the current state of this industry is something to be respected. And the amount of content they added between Foundation Update from last year and the new Atlas Risemakes it pretty much an NMS 2.0. It's not about "waiting untill it gets good" but just giving another go to acknowledge their effort to make the game better.
The difference is EA is a publisher that shuts down studios and attempts to destroy studios for shits and giggles; Hello Games is a studio and NMS is all they have so if they do not fix it their studio would be no more. Even after fixing it people would be wary of the studio if it were to release any other titles so continuing to work on NMS is the only thing they can do to salvage what they can of their reputation.
Blows my motherfucking mind out the back of my skull when I see people still defending NMS. But then again people still defend Trump, so defending the indefensible has a market.
This is why gaming is turning into shit. The people defending no mans sky are the problem. They are the reason AAA games now have microtransactions. They are the reason there are shady devs,ect,ect,ect.... I wont be a part of it. No mans sky will continue going down in history as the biggest flop of a game ever created and i REFUSE to let them come back from it.
HitchensImmortal You have to be a special kind of idiot for hating Hello Games for improving NMS "for free". Did gearbox do that to Alien Colonial Marines?
Its not as if HG abandoned tha game after taking your precious dollars. Yes there were devs who did that, and HG isnt one of em. Why are you so close minded as to even hating a dev team that tried and is even at the moment trying real hard to correct their mistakes? I too hate shady dev practices, but why not let this lone dev team get a pass since theyre the only ones really working their butts off to compensate for the awful release? Hating on and on is the reason peace can never be achieved. You are just blindly hating in general and think it is justifiable no matter the difference in circumstances.
A dev team tries to redeem themselves by fixing and adding things for free and still youre already pointing aaaah shady dev practices!! Like you know the real score. We are all together with trying to extinguish shady dev practices, but this mess HG was in clearly isnt a dark scheme. It was obviously a rookie mistake for an indie dev getting a huge spotlight a little to quickly. A shady practice would be, wrap NMS up and announce theyll be making NMS2 or release a DLC for 19.99. but no. They didnt ask for a single dime for free content and promised more. Still that is shady for you? Come on. Get off that hate bandwagon and think clearly.
I have not bought this game yet but I've been curious about it and I like it's sound track. But What is the point of scanning in this game and what else can you do aside from shooting and scanning? I like the atmosphere of the game though.
Of course NMS caused this .... They just ran with something that was in the press and copied the idea but with low poly. Not going to buy it now, but will look out for some more game play just in case it is worth it. Somehow doubt it, but will wait and see :)
It costs $13, you spend a lot less time just sitting and waiting to get to the place you are going, there are more varied and interesting characters, upgrades, puzzles, worlds and creatures, and a better story.
Better than NMS? The only thing better is the quest system...the rest seems equally boring to me! And NMS one year later, with all the updates, is a lot better than before...
NMS actually _has_ a sidequest/mission system now, as well as a few fairly involved "main story threads" which can be progressed in sequence, in parallel, or ignored. It's fair to say that this game is _much_ better than NMS's _original_ release, but is merely parallel to NMS's _current_ state. Whether or not replacing open-world planets with linear maps is an _improvement_ is a matter of taste. Just goes to show how _sticky_ early bad impressions can be - much of NMS's current criticism is literally _a year out of date._ Granted, Sean Murray took some _excessive_ liberties with his description of the game prior to launch, but a lot of the originally "missing features" have been added to the game since then. It's starting to catch up to the PR fluff. Really, the 2016 release _should_ have been "Early Access/WIP", but that release model wasn't compatible with Sony's marketing for physical game media.
No mans sky but ugly. Nah. But honestly NMS is quite nice and stunningly beautiful now especially with mods mods mods. I consider it much like the Total War games or Kerbal Space Program, kinda ok vanilla, but amazing with mods stacked on. The one downside though is that most NMS mods only tweak gameplay or visuals, they dont / cant add more interesting gameplay systems, so its still very much just about harvesting resources and exploring for the sake of seeing pretty planets. But there is a place for games like that too, definetly. If you expect a planet exploration kinda ABZU or Journey, then NMS is great. If you expect an EVE Online or Freelancer, then it is fucking garbage.
I've tried really hard over the space of a year and a half to like and enjoy this game, but each time I boot it up, I force myself to endure another hour or two before putting it back down and playing something else. Let me just start by saying that I don't think this is a bad game, it just doesn't cater to my particular needs, and it doesn't appeal to my timescales and out of gaming lifestyle. For a game that showcases non-stop action in it's trailers, please don't buy into this game expecting your experience to represent this footage as a whole. The majority of your time is spent by running trade missions from A to B, or escorting cargo from A to B, or flying from A to kill the target at B (are you seeing a pattern emerge yet?) Between these missions, you'll spend a lot of your time travelling in dead space, engaging in combat zones (which usually involves simply locking onto a target, and pew-pew while dodging their pew pew, fly past each other, turn around and repeat), and occassionally being pulled from warp-speed by an NPC or another player. All of these features just completely miss the mark for me, and none of them feel fully fleshed out in a way that compels me to focus on one above the others. Planetary landings, while a novelty the first few times, become boring incredibly quickly once you realise that the majority of the planets have the same washed and barren look, and have next to nothing to actually do on them. After farting around a bit in your land vehicle, you'll then make your way to get back into your ship, before hitting orbit and wondering which of the many A to B points you'll like to fly to next, before realising that the experience is practically pointless. For me, I don't see any sense of reward from this game other than "Make more money from X so I can buy a bigger ship, then I can make even more money so I can then look at buying that even bigger ship". Beyond that, I don't feel like there is any other ultimate point to this game. Exploration feels incredibly drawn out and dull, with little sense of a wow factor, and the only reward is currecy, which again, you'll end up putting to one side to get that bigger ship, although at this point you're not even sure why you want it. Elite Dangerous is a fun experience for the first few hours, when everything is fresh and new. But once the novelty wears thin, there's a chance you may end up seeing this as the unrewarding grind-fest that I did. There are many people out there that enjoy this game, and I'm envious of you. However, this game is just simply not for me.
I will bring up a very VERY unpopular opinion: No Mans Sky is actually a pretty good game after the patches they delivered. Still not perfect... but the game itself is quite good and has a lot more potential
AFTER!!!!!!! that's the fucking key word, sucker, they lied right at ur fucking face on launch, to my eyes they can patch a 10/10 game, but they fucking lied and I'd rather throw my money at a firepit b4 giving it to this crocks and basically saying "it's ok to bruteforce my ass with a spiky titanium dildo if you give me flowers tomorrow".
calm down geez. I didnt buy it... but of what i played in patch 1.3 it actually was quite enjoyable. And I didnt say anything about the lying part... and in contrast to what most ppl think, I believe they were forced by sony to release it early and all features promised were actually meant to be in the game! I feel like them still patching the game long after its failure kinda redeems them of their failure. If they keep patching it... look at it like an EA title... unfinished with promises of a better finished product.
Nah, it's not even close to being good. It is better than it was on release, but that's not saying much, is it? There's a long way to go before a game that is awful and boring turns into something good and fun to play. NMS will never be that game. You probably have to much time on your hands if you're gonna waste it on such a lackluster game.
I think Fallout IV was a bad game. Ppl have different opinions. And since the 1.3 Patch its actually a game that you can play and have fun with. Its flawed like crazy. BUT its not as bad as most would make it out to be. And I'm pretty sure you haven't played it since release... if you ever played it.
It's especially surprising to that that happens in the comments section here. One would think that people watching Jim Sterling would know better. I mean, sure, if some like the game that's fine. And I'm sure the devs made improvements. But how on earth does that excuse the massive mess they made prior to/at game launch?
Hello games has actively tried to make up for their mistakes. With all the updates, the game is actually kinda decent now, and they said that they will continue to make it better. And yet, it seems forgiveness is impossible. Even though they tried everything they can to do good.
Ok so lets just look at this objectively, what exactly does this game indeed do BETTER than NMS (shouldnt be a hard ask). Chronologically from watching the video. Lets fucking do something properly instead of just meme'ing it up. 1. Harvesting minerals is even more boring than in NMS. 2. Scanning things is even slower and more dreary than in NMS. 2.2 No details after scanning. 2.3 Cant scan and shoot at the same time. 3. Even more dull gunplay than NMS, how that is possible i dont know. 4. More interesting building interiors with actual "puzzles" than NMS, nice there but to be expected from a linear level. 5. More interesting enemy design than in NMS, in my opinion anyway. Maybe i like spiders more than flying balls. 6. Enemies dropping ammo, kinda dumb but far more convenient in terms of gameplay flow than going through a fucking menu to recharge your guns as in NMS (why they still dont simply have R to reload is insane). 7. Cant fly the ship what so ever, how is that an improvement over NMS? Basically just a menu driven level select screen. 8. But nice ship design honestly, more solid-feeling than NMS's toy ships. 9. But completely uninteractable NPC's in the stations. 10. Better starsystem map than NMS, definetly, considering NMS doesnt even have a fucking map to view planets in. 11. I do like the planet approach and drop-pod visuals, but the planets are locked behind a loading screen, kinda shitty. 12. Planets are pretty much walled off instances, certainly not open landscapes circumnavigateable. 13. Crabs dont fucking attack you on sight and annoy the hell out of you. A plus for this game in my book, lol. Okay....... i cant fucking go on anymore, Jim scanning everything in sight even though it presumably appears to give you absolutely jack shit just made my narcolepsy kick back. I think its fairly objective to say that this game, while cute in its attempts at filling a genre that desperately needs a better game than NMS, certainly in no way actually is better than NMS. In fact, it is surprisingly worse than NMS in most aspects i just listed. How this is possible, only God knows. Congratulations indie dev, you made a game more boring than NMS. A round of applause!
Lol all these generic "NMS is so much better now". How much does buying RUclips comments from some Indian marketing agency cost these days. You could at least make those comments a bit more varied and less transparently fake...
NMS looks way better which is why I haven't found a replacement for it yet. I think they'll continue to beef that game up until it's really worth playing.
Slider2k Lol exactly. This pale marshmallow plump ass bitch doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Just trying to get views from the title only - cause this gameplay is fucking ass.

Now No Man's Sky is EXCELLENT 👌👍
"Oh boy, here I go scanning people again!"
Beautiful way to address your viewers Jim
I hope an update to this game introduces the Cornla Homunculus.
xof49 thatd be a spicy brand deal for the devs

I have to admit that I laughed pretty hard at "just messing with you", which is more joy than NMS will ever bring me.
I've heard that, waiting for a sale to grab it still tho
Stop lying for them, we all know its a piece of shit game.
If you want NMS done right (and get eye cancer) go play Noctis.

They're all in the next patch.
boiledelephant When is that next patch coming? It’s been 4 months so far.
Pink Guy hes joking ffs
Tom Proctor
Hahaha omg it’s so funny...haha
Dude I wish I could understand your humour... haha 😒
"You press F to change your weapon"
No Jim, you press F to pay respects. Have you learned NOTHING all these years?! :D
I REQUIRE MORE FOXES WITH MUSTACHES! Where do I insert chunks!?
Woah. This takes so many things from metroid prime and it makes me so happy!!!
Did you mean Starbound?
The game that was better in its alpha state?
Starbounds a fucking masterpiece far as I'm concerned. Don't know what your talking about.
Ulysses it was alot more fun in early access
+Thaums How though honest question?
Ulysses its weird, there was a dynamic temperature system with cold resistant armor (infantry set) that they removed, best of all was a lack of a story or outpost, although it was still a bit linear in its progression. It really just comes down to the fact that i could play the alpha anytime versus now where i feel like gouging my eyes out whenever i have to play through the story.
Ive played through and beaten both the alpha and the full release and honestly if you were to ask me
I had a lot more fun in alpha
You see, No man's sky had the exact same list of game play requirements...except theirs had a typo.
Their's said 'scam' game play mechanic, instead of 'scan' game play mechanic.
I don't like the names they give things in this game.
Hey, Jim.
Just wanted to tell you that I really REALLY appreciated that mustachioed fox.
Somebody had to do it. It's a shame it wasn't No Man's Sky. You know, the game that promised greatness but lied.
RIP
Not really lol
STOP BEING EVERYWHERE
Whoa, I didn't expect to see you here. I like your stories/voice, I just wish there weren't so many repeats.
They are costantly updating it, apparently it is much, much better now.
I’m glad you played this game Jim because I was thinking about buying it but I wasn’t sure
(And they made you pay more for it!)

I think this might be the funniest video Jim has made so far.
Hey Jim, if I'm early enough that you're still reading comments, have you checked your PO box recently?
I used the trebuchet for that.
Itzabauuummm
Hey, you get that thing I sent ya?
MarioTGP i have a massive 118 subs hahaha lol i did have over 500 at one point but i stopped uploading due to many hours editing for little views.
Harvey Birdman is dead dude...
"Don't take my chunks from me! My chunks are all I have!"
Why has that had be laughing hard for the last 2 minutes straight?
I know people constantly shit on unity but this game (and other games like grow home) prove how the engine can be stylistically beautiful. The smoothness of polygons and lighting mixed with the use of bright colors has always been really appealing to me.
Cpt. Keaton
People shit on Unity because they don't know that with game engines today, it's the graphical design of the game that determines the visuals. We're far beyond "engine limitations".
Should have called the video "A Fucking Fox With a Mustache" I like that this has some light Metroid Prime influences.
I like low poly And Disney kind graphic, i dont know like but for me it is better than this tryhard realistic one
And I have good PC, i just like games like that.
Exactly. It may not be great but it’s definitely pretty good.
A S K the survival is super unbalanced without mods thus makin a chore to play
It's too bad most people will continue to shit on NMS because of that botched launch...
A S K I think it's by principle. People felt cheated and lied to when the game launched (and they were cheated and lied to), so they don't care if it's good now because they don't want to support developers who fuck consumers.
"MORPHITE - No Man's Sky But Good" HAH you almost got me! lol
NMS still isn't a good game. It just is more content in a shit game.
Point out where they said they support EA and Ubisoft.
please share a screenshot of the spreadsheet you use to keep track of all the intro insults you've used in the past.

ok then
The 4 people still playing No Man's Sky?
People don't like Jim, he pees in a lot of peoples cornflakes.
No mans sky developers lurking

"Hello you shit flinging flingers of shit who fling shit until all the shit's been flung." One of my favourites so far.
4 years later.... Yep. This is how I feel when I go on twitter.
Jim Sterling
Have you thought about making a follow-up video on No Man's Sky? The game has improved a great deal and it was all done for free as well.
You can't say "all done for free as well" as a point of persuasion when the things that are "all done" are half-baked attempts at adding in some of the things they lied about having in the first place.
Local Content
Half-Baked?
Unfinished. As in the multiplayer that the game was sold on where you could meet up with a friend has been *kind of* added at last, except they've only got it working to the point where the second player appears as a floating orb that can't affect your world in any way.
nfsinternational So they are giving free content for a 60 dollar game that realsed with a 30 dollar value amazing!
TheDarkendstar
Game is worth $60 now. It’s being sold for less though. Around $30 - $40
A+ chunk commentary. Chunk/10. Would chunk again.
This Morphite Jimpressions has some people in these comments crying like a No Man's Sky fan on prom night.
Here is a TV that looks like an apple.
Hello all you cu~SKELETON WARRIORS!!!
Going from planet to planet, finding new plants and animals, and moving on to others... That's all anyone was asking for.
It really just looks like budget bin NMS.
hey i just got not one but two adds? in a row? i though jim didmt monatize his videos, did this get claimed or something?
Jim, have you seen NMS lately? It’s a hell of a lot better. They’ve added an awful lot and are still working on it.
Crono21 most people have moved on though, devs should not expect everyone to wait until their game gets good.
I don't get that depending on the game, some people will bash the devs for forgetting about it and move on, like EA did with Mass Effect: Andromeda. And that game was "better" than NMS. A couple of months of negativity and EA closed the studio and put the franchise on hiatus. lol
At least Hello Games, despite all the lies and false advertising, they are trying to improve the game even before the negativity of its launch.
Nah its actually about lying to consumers.
Jeff Herc they did jack shit to fix som of the biggest problems. The game stil has shitty passing and the menu's are stil ass.
17:24 "so unfortunately coundn't scan that because it was kicking our ass" lmao.
Thank you for reinforcing my point.
But
What is the point of scanning in this game and what else can you do aside from shooting and scanning?
I like the atmosphere of the game though.
Everryone saying No Mans Sky is better now... Who gives a fuck.... I'd rather play the 1st Max Payne another 50 times than play NMS.
Lol. Casual
Ignorant much
Deep'N'Dirty
Max Payne 1 is absolute gold. That's a cowardly comparison.
What if I told you to some people first impressions are everything?
Kieran V Not really comparable, but yeah, me too.
So Jim is the living embodyment of my sense of humor. I just realized that.
I wonder if No Man's Shite actually caused this better game to happen...
This is more like Metroid Prime
UKFB / Monster No, No it’s not. What the fuck are you smoking. Don’t ever compare this shit to Metroid Prime
Julian Salazar
Found the Ninty fanboy.
Julian Salazar
... what. It is. It's got the scanning and the lock on aiming and the space travel is the same as 3.
Of course NMS caused this .... They just ran with something that was in the press and copied the idea but with low poly. Not going to buy it now, but will look out for some more game play just in case it is worth it. Somehow doubt it, but will wait and see :)
Have you lost control of ads playing before your videos? Because i keep getting them.
This is funny because i just came back from playing this game..I shoot a mineral crystal with my gun and the game crashed lolz!
I'm so glad this one's coming to the switch as well
What kind of noob game is this? Aiming is for Big Boys Only.
No Man's Sky would send casuals crying to their mommies. This is consolized NMS!
It reminds me a little of Metroid Prime with it's scanning, it would have been nice to see you explore that Temple at the end a little bit.
How is this better than no man's sky?
joao paulo they delivered what they said they would
It costs $13, you spend a lot less time just sitting and waiting to get to the place you are going, there are more varied and interesting characters, upgrades, puzzles, worlds and creatures, and a better story.
Jimmy old mate, You know how you can lock-on with the gun don't you think you could lock on with the scanner for fast moving targets?
This thing feels almost like No Man's Metroid Prime.
We need more bro. Too funny lol.
Better than NMS? The only thing better is the quest system...the rest seems equally boring to me! And NMS one year later, with all the updates, is a lot better than before...
I was just thinking this, it doesn't seem that different from NMS at all
A lot better than "completely, mindnumbingly boring and woefully unfinished" is just "really boring and lacking in content.
TheGreatRakatan Ahaha yeah... but still better than before :D
My shit is better when I eat healthier and balance my diet...It's still shit, though.
"Must have been the skull of a particularly stupid person" Has to be my favorite quote of all time! I'm dead...
I don't see how this is better than No Man's Sky when this is just the same thing only less.
Gordon Chin
Much less ambience as well.
He’s just trying to get views from the title.
Delivering on the small scope is usually more enjoyable and tighter experience, than under-delivering on a huge scope.
Milos Lajic
Opinion
Less is more in this case, it's not an endless mess of boring.
Foxes with mustaches, giant land crabs and Metroid Prime elements! Is there literally anything else you could want?
I can't help but feel that in this whole video he's being sarcastic.
Eh I'll still stick with Elite: Dangerous.
I always wonder if Jim does these Let's Play segment in his Jimquisition outfit.
If your looking for No Mans Sky, but good get Elite Dangerous.
Xouram Markwulf been looking to get it. Some people found it boring, but have heard good things about it.
One of the worst titles for a game.
Arlo Steiner that’s false
You have upgrades to get. Perhaps the scanner can be improved?
This game isn't nearly as good as no mans sky.... Not after it's 543657 updates that made it a pretty good game.
It does cost a quarter of the price though and you don't have to wait for it to update into a state where its enjoyable.
No Man's Sky is amazing now. Give it a shot!
Yeah, I'll be sure to spend $60 giving *No Man's Sky* 'a shot'.
Roverdrive X you can refund it if you don't like it you know...
Jim @18:00, is the deer really the alien one?
:^)
Woah Jim, there was no need to compare anything positive to NMS. That offends the developers.
No Man's Sky is amazing now. Give it a shot!
Fox with a mustache?! I am sold
I will bring up a very VERY unpopular opinion:
No Mans Sky is actually a pretty good game after the patches they delivered.
And I'm pretty sure you haven't played it since release... if you ever played it.
why is this video tagged "No Man's Sky" ... did they want to have that tiny bit of additional advertisement?
THERE ARE ACTUALLY PEOPLE DEFENDING NMS IN THE COMMENTS.
Jesus holy fuck...
No Man's Sky is nothing but a meme at this point, let's be honest.
And there are people who haven't even played NMS but are happy to be on the hate bandwagon regardless... Jesus holy fuck
OOhh yessss, updates to NMS! until money runs out or Sony pulls the plug.
I love the fact that this video haves "No Man's Sky" in the suggestion box XD
Side note, this game looks extremely boring.
The idea of Jim as a space explorer impudently firing at flies with a plasma gun is perhaps one of the best mental images a game has ever given me.
Hey Jim I just got an ad logging into your video, is that normal?
this isn't better than no man's sky. Not even close, title is a bit.......
Its better due to the fact that it isn't made by liars.
PussPuss
So if a really super awesome great game was made by someone who lied you still wouldn’t play it?
Boy you are one dumb fucking fuck.
Except they lied about the game being good, way to miss the point.
well that just means the developers are better but the gameplay is a bit shit
Rodina is another one to keep an eye on. Still in early access, but it looks like it has potential as a space exploration game.
Lol all these generic "NMS is so much better now". How much does buying RUclips comments from some Indian marketing agency cost these days. You could at least make those comments a bit more varied and less transparently fake...
Kultsound
Assuming everyone that likes something you do not is lying or fake.
Go get them Bud!
Shill gambit fail.
Hahaha! Here's your tinfoil hat!
Loved the commentary 🤣 fox with a mushe
NMS looks way better which is why I haven't found a replacement for it yet. I think they'll continue to beef that game up until it's really worth playing.
That fox with a mustache is beautiful
NMS with shitty graphics? No, thx.
Slider2k
Lol exactly. This pale marshmallow plump ass bitch doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Just trying to get views from the title only - cause this gameplay is fucking ass.
Graphics don't always make a game better and it's an artistic choice instead of being hyper realistic they went for a polygon look which is cool
After you saying Chunk for so many times i would have like to see a "Truffle Shuffle"
> takes a hard stance against gambling in vidja gaems
> loses all his chunks gambling in a vidja gaem
Jim was that intro greeting inspired by The Thick of It at all? Sounded like pure Glen Campbell to me.
