When you where getting clapped by those lightning strikes its because you take roughly 9000% more lightning damage while you have dragon bolt active, I found that out the hard way multiple times rather than using eyeballs on screen and reading stuff.

I really like Elden Stars. It looks cool and puts good pressure on the opponent so you can look for roll catches. Hammer of Marika skill works nicely with it in my experience.
@@championchrome5452 yeah it's pretty good at finishing someone when they have no heals left. And even tho it does no damage it still makes people panic
@@championchrome5452 reminds me a lot of the special attack from the Sacred Chime Hammer (Velstadt's weapon from ds2). The orbs don't deal much damage, but it makes it really easy to setup a roll catch.

I always keep poison darts on my hotbar for when hosts/phantoms are on ladders or if they’ve just used the flask that gives them super armor for one hit. It’s so funny how visibly pissed people get when you delete their flask armor right after they drink with a throwing knife.
I will always love Chase more than most PvPers out there on RUclips. Most of them are constantly complaining about builds or have extremely juvenille demeanor. Especially with the resounding success of Elden Ring, we got a plethora of these players pouring in.
Been a fan for years and the quality hasn’t dropped one bit. Stay classy, my friend.

10:40 i've definitely seen the players that make the dual sleep swords work out and it is very deadly. This guy in the clip most likely had not upgraded the swords since they were doing so little damage
fr, better combo is to sleep the player swap to an ultra greatsword and jump attack them with the talisman and armor on that improves jump attacks

Dragonbolt blessing increases how much lightning damage you take.
Sleep build actually sounds so fun now. Imagine inflicting it through their rolls and going around for a backstab with miesocerde(I cant spell, the dagger that has 140 crit) or something.
I don’t think you can crit a sleep or madness proc but I just tried invading today with a zweihander as my main and the Sword of St Trina in my off hand. Sleep true combos into Giant Hunt and it one shots almost every time. I’m putting out a video on it tomorrow if you’re curious.

it's really good with the right build, i.e. a pure dex build with just the minimum int requirement for the sword. i think the guy in the video was trying to use them with an int build which is... not great

man this guy is damn near flawless. He's turned this into a work of art with his talent and determination. He's at the point, or maybe just always has been, that he makes it look effortless. Glad I found this channel to gleam some tips from ya.
It's a small thing, but if you use a Rune Arc in your own world with Mohg's Great Rune, you get a consumable when you invade. When you use it, it buffs all of the mobs in a radius around you with an AR buff. It isn't much for normal mobs, but it's a percentile boost, so it had a huge effect on field bosses. It could backfire on you, but more likely than not it'll hit the host or a phantom for far more damage than they expect, which makes those messy, chaotic fieldboss invasions more fun, I think. It lasts a really long time, too - I've never seen it run out before I or the host died.
really wish i saw this mechanic used more. reminds me a bit of gravelording from DS1
Gotta say I just found your channel and its so refreshing to see an invader that doesn't just complain constantly about invading groups of people doing PVE stuff and calling them cowards and scrubs and stuff.
Like yeah the fact that you can only invade people cooping isn't ideal, but its also what you sign up for invading, and its better to just try and learn the strats for fighting multiple people like you are doing.
Your great attitude earned a sub from me, thats for sure.

Flame strike is excellent WA on a long reach weapon. The second horizontal attack has excellent tracking if you wait until the last second to target your foe.

of course! im constantly updating and changing my strength build so it is a bit different then my original strength build video. But ill definitely make another updated version once i have all the weapons and ashes of war for it figured out

Yup, Flame Strike is bae. Roll catch, stagger, weapon buff in one.
I use a greatsword wide swings to lull them into a false sense of security, then they over-commit to an attack. Right then i wack them with a lion's claw, with most low-mid def players with 70-90% health drop. Most players panic, so then comes in the roll poke, surprisingly long reach

Flaming strike on the pike has gotta be one of my favorite combos so far, the pike has incredible range and great chase down attacks but it doesn’t have swipe r2’s like other shorter spears, flaming strike is honestly better than a swipe r2 and does the same job, it also does like 800 damage if both hits connect so that’s cool, it stops people from pressuring me too much
The Pike does have swiping R2s? The advantage a pike has over other spears is it's slashing attacks

Dude, any player spawning make almost no noise unless you're on top of them. That's one of the things I miss from the old games. Getting a drink and hearing it from my kitchen and going noooo. Bummer it is how it is now.

I finally did some invasions myself and another invader tried to betray me. I delt with the welp but unfortunately the host and his buddy took full advantage of the situation xD Someone ought to make a gag reel about invasion fails.

Few things that gets asked and mentioned:
Jumping doesn't give full IFrames, it only invalidates the hitbox of your characters waist and below. Torso and arms are still valid hitbox.
Elemental damage weapon arts needs the weapon to have scaling for that element to scale up properly, example - lightning strike will do poor damage on a keen weapon, it will poor damage on a lightning weapon if your char has low dex and obnoxious damage on a lightning weapon if your char has 70 dex.
Determination weapon art got nerfed for spells, but not other weapon arts for some reason, meaning that you can determination offhand and then lightning strike someone for 1600...
You can see it's kinda obvious when chase does rather low damage with the glint pebble and redmane fire WAs, the damage is low not because of tanky opponent but because he put it on a heavy weapon so the WA doesn't receive proper stat scaling.
4:41 Probably not the best strategy for launching people straight up and a little bit back, but it makes me wonder where else people can find themselves with a little "push" from a "friend" =3

Night-Rider halberd is easily my favorite pvp weapon as of right now. One of the only S scaling strength weapons in the game. So versatile, with a fantastic moveset.
20 seconds in and I've already witnessed a war crime.

That fire aow works great on Godskin Peeler, well pretty much all twin blades, but my favorite is GP. Sucks though because I really like its base aow too

@@rolandoresurreccion8216 Just invade with whatever you want. Just have bloodhound step for AOEs, and health regen talisman and in the flask if you want (Regen is better than bubble sheild imo). Just use whatever weapons you want or ashes you think are cool and have fun.
The most important thing is to not get discouraged as a begginer. Go in with the mindset that your going to lose because you probably will, that's why invasions are so cool because you can overcome what is much more likely to happen. RL60 at Raya Lucaria was pretty fun last time I invaded but if you really wanna kill people RL80 outside the capital is a good apot because there's the beefed up tree sentinal as the boss guarding the next area. This means you have an enemy that commands respect to the host and their phantoms, no fogwalls! AND gank squads have no choice but to follow you to the boss since your the only invader in the world. I think I was +12 at that level with pike/naginata bleed 40vig 40arc. Pike is such a good weapon, a must have imo.
Also have a great sheild with a poking status for other sheild pokers. besides that some form of carian retaliation is good to stop mages from spamming, and I think thats about it.
You might get one shot from time to time by a phantom but who cares. Have fun! :D

We all as fans love the content but there’s a split of us who take the content as motivation for us individually to be that good n the other half just wants to be chase n yell when they don’t get the same results. Love ur progress thru the invasions tho very similar to mine haha

Talking on poise, I think Elden Ring has a mixture of DS1's passive poise and DS3's hyperarmor like poise. Catch is, the DS3 stuff is more rare than common
ChaseTheBro is the only person Ik that can test weapons and take damage intentionally and still win

I Love strength builds against squads. I'm not that good in pvp, but when there's 2 or 3 ppl, they always get greedy and try to armor through attacks that often 1 shots them, it's so funny to see the last guy rolling for his life
Chase could try a sleep build, I know its basicly one weapon but still (to have more variety you could use other weapons for damage and using the dagger for sleep), its a very cool weapon, one short video would be enough
I don't know how much build up soporific grease (the sleep weapon coating) adds, but that could open up more options along with sleep arrows/bolts.
This was really fun to watch. Commentary was funny too! Well done.

Try the executioners great axe with flame strike or sword dance, I think it's the highest dmg strength weapon that can use those ashes of war 🙏

Glintstone pebble weapon art I think only stuns because it hits them in the head most of the time.
That being said, lower poise builds will get stunned from breathing in their direction so I don't know for sure.
Pebble is a bit busted atm.I think the only reason bullgoat guy didn't get combo'd earlier was he was hit in WA animation. Second time from neutral he was stunned. Built right it will 2 hit true combo for 1500 plus damage.
