My Volvo XC90 with a V8 isn't necessarily fast. However the sound it makes is rewarding when you floor it. I know the Lexus has a very throaty sound. However some disagree over how good Lexus' driving dynamics are.

That car really is a masterpiece. Anyone who doubts needs to simply go look at one at their local dealer and they will agree.
It has just one issue and that's infotainment system, if lexus improves the infotainment then this can be the most perfect car ever.

You hate on the LC 500 in every video I’ve watched about it, but the joke is on you. Alpha Romeo and Maserati are the most unreliable cars on the road, alongside Jaguar and Range Rover. You literally cannot get less reliability out of a car than those brands.
Go on thinking that horsepower is all that matters ever. Lexus never claimed the LC500 to be a sports car in the first place. It’s a grand tourer, and is built to last while providing luxury and just enough power to have fun. Have even more fun by putting a twin turbo or supercharger set up on the LC, and it will still outlast and likely outpace the cars you mentioned.
Most people driving stock LC 500s have no delusions about it being the fastest car on the road or wanting to race a Maserati with it.
Do you even think in realistic terms?
For the craftsmanship alone I'm in love with it. It's a treat seeing these on the road

When I saw the video of the LCF on the test track on your channel, I was so hyped for a 650hp LCF. I still think that would have been a good boost for the brand. But ultimately they realized it would be to expensive, especially in our SUV era.

The LC500 is definitely a sexy beast! Normally I’m not a fan of yellow cars, but this metallic yellow is absolutely gorgeous! Also, I drool every time I see an LC, either on the road or on RUclips! God, I wish I could afford this car!🥰🥰🥰

That is the ultimate Cruiser. What a beautiful car. Have a friend with an older version of that V8 and he has 350k on the engine with only a water pump change. Super reliable.

it is. the very main difference is my SC drives like a 32 foot yacht (still amazingly conformable) and believe it or not this drives better then any F car in the lineup.

You guys have to hold the unlock button on the key fob to see if it automatically rolls down the windows and retracts the top like all other Lexus. Just bought a GS460 this week to go with my GS350. I am a true fan of their cars.
Ive worked for Lexus and many luxury brands for many years now. I was never obsessed with the LC when i saw it..... but when i drove it, it became my dream too own. that really says something.

He couldn't figure out that the seat does slide forward if you tilt the seat forward enough, and it has an automatic stop that doesn't crush the legs of anyone that happens to sit in the back.

Beautiful! 😍 I was surprised when they put the top up to see it was a soft top! The back seats, commonly called 2+2 are too small for adults but great for kids, pets and groceries or luggage considering how small the trunk is. Anyways, not a car I can afford but watching the video was a nice distraction from all the crap going on in the world.

Lexus is probably the only company to bring to the table a car that is 1:1 identical to the Concept Car.
I haven't been a fan of Lexus since they came up with that huge scoop grill. But on the LC500 convertible, it really looks great. I am blown away by the convertible, very sexy, very unique, a real head turner in a world of German and Italian performance cars. The interior is as beautiful as the exterior, the leather seats are works of art. The yellow looks great, but yesterday I saw a video of one in a beautiful read with a darker tan interior that for me was a really killer combination. Something else that appeals to me is Toyota.Lexus reliability, a real plus when the great European performance cars do have a tendency for pricey repairs and less than stellar reliability. Hands down, the LC500C is a thing of beauty that would look good in decades to come.

I honestly prefer the soft top look for the convertible. It has a classy look to it, and with this car it compliments the design of the car, whereas on other cars like the C8 Vette, a soft top would look out of place. This has more Aston feel, and for that, the soft top is the best choice imo.

If you look at the lf-lc concept compared to the LC then they look basically identical proving that lexus doesn't make bullshit concepts to show off, they are realistic

Totally beautiful. Lexus make cars to a standard of quality and reliability other manufacturers dream of. I have a SC 430 Lexus hardtop convertible and it I can see a lot of things similar but very much evolved in the reviewed car, except the wind deflector pops up automatically in my car. No one in their right mind would ever get into the back seat of either convertible.
From my understanding with the stacked exhaust outlet it fits the design language of the GSF ISF and RCF

The vent above the exhaust outlet is likely designed to allow fresh air to flow above the exhaust which pushes it away from the rear bumper, thus eliminating exhaust soot build-up or potential paint issues.
I know that styling is subjective. If Lexus can tone down its angry front grill and the drooping headlights, aside from the super expensive LFA, this LC 500 Convertable is certainly the most desirable Lexus they have ever made. I say that because I also own a Mercedes SL550 and Porsche 911, which are both timeless classic.
coming from someone who owns and drives a 2018 Mercedes SL63, (which I love) the LC is a futuristic car design. Its top quality in materials and overall design. Amazing car. Looks nicer than my SL, and my SL gets people saying nice car every time I drive it... People will take pictures of it in a parking lot if I am getting groceries.. I can only imagine with this LC convertible, the couple also is stunning !!

Tommy the poky toggle is referred to as a knurled finish. Common among luxury vehicles to add elegance, texture and grip to toggles, switches etc.

It is very beautiful but i still think the grill is a tad too big but its whats is popular in the design world of cars today. If i had the means i would 100% be looking at this for a daily driver or weekend/cruising car. Also that exhaust note sounds amazing I wonder if in a few years these will be way cheaper than what i expect to be a 80k plus car.

Seen a couple of the (presumably) 2019s in a glossy all black, and I gotta say... damn! It’s a beautiful car. Can’t wait to see some of the convertibles on the road eventually. Lol I think the only thing I don’t like is how little overhang the tire sidewalls have over the wheels. That’s just asking for the rims to get scratched eventually.
