MS did this with Windows 10. Have some issues and you want to start in Safe Mode? You're going to have to go through a few layers to find the option to restart in Safe Mode. However, they put Factory Reset right there on the first layer of options. Just more evidence that MS hates its users.

Holy shit man. I showed my whole IT team these vids. This is GOLD! you need to make some more, I fucking love these. I've watched them all about 6 times each now.. I account for at least 50 of your views lol
The first year I saw the first episode, it was my first job in IT and every year that I work in IT I re-watch this whole series and it makes me appreciate it more each time. The relatability, the effort, the acting, even down to the very minor details are spot on. I love how even the tickets get their own little joke...an extremely urgent ticket is keyboard is yellowing! All timed perfectly to get it in 8 minutes. I absolutely love this series
There were rumors about Intel CPUs being branded as Core i9 way back in the middle of 2009 on TechPowerUp and the like, but from what I know, there was no official indication from Intel about that branding until much later.
I work in IT. I can confirm this happens. Seen one example before where a company gave the users Admin accounts so that when they had a problem or they installed a virus, they called said IT company and they charged an hourly fee to fix the user's screw ups. This is mostly seen in MSP (Microsoft Service Providers). Enterprise you usually never see this. Admin accounts are reserved for IT staff and specialist power users who can be trusted
lol tfw you accidentally shut down a server or do something accidentally and it takes the whole enterprise down. i once wanted to log into a Windows Server, we had a keyboard plugged into it so I went up and pressed CTRL+ALT+DEL. it didn't work so I did it again. I checked the keyboard and it was actually plugged into our web proxy (supplies Internet access to all users) - it is linux based so CTRL+ALT+DEL restarted it. 15 mins with no Internet for all users :D
The detail to this video is simply amazing. When Derrick remote controlled Chip's laptop, the display was reflected on the laptop screen through the video conference in real-time, something that most people probably wouldn't have even noticed. "kybrd hs n vwls" ROFL!!!
Please read the Single Sign On page, the options are hilarious! Central Authentication Fumbler and Starship Enterprise Sign On Engine, wow. Very well done indeed.
god damn.. this IS my day at work dude. i thought you hit the nail on the head with your first video but then i got a new job and this is exactly what i deal with all day. so hilarious and you guys spend so much time putting in so much detail like the PEBKAC button. you're fucking hilarious and you guys should be on TV. thank you for making my day. thank you.
"How does that one button have that effect???!!!" When I was a kid in IT about 20 years ago, a W2000 server had a raid issue. I was trying to rebuild the array with a new disk and the prompt said something vague like "Data may be affected. Proceed?" Since it seemed to be the only option/way to rebuild the array... I clicked it and instantaneously lost the whole system drive with no backup DC. I watch all these videos once a year.
Anyone in IT should appreciate this. I work in the industry and showed this to the office. Our whole department was cracking up. Then I should some of the sales guy.... didn't really have the same effect lol
If I ever get promoted to a management position I will use this web series (the NSFW version) as a test during the the new hire interview process on what NOT to do during support.
This video came to mind today when I clicked the "Apply defaults and save" button in my BIOS instead of "Apply and save changes" and got bitlockered out of my drives...fml
Not really, unfortunately. I've been on hiatus since I had a kid. No time! I'm glad you like the series though. Hopefully when things calm down on the home front I can get back to it.
I love this series so much. I really wish you guys could make more episodes. I can't wait to see episode 4.5 part two... or are you just going to call it "Part 5" ?
I have worked as a helpdesk tech and sys admin and if you have never done this, so much of what is occurring in this video won't make any sense to you but if you have, It will be so funny how well they have captured it.
It's 2020 and finally the ending of this video makes sense.
First of all, nice Not Another Teen Movie reference.
Second of all, we got the Core i9 but where is our Z-RAM?
Thirdly, sup.
Hey Josh! Can you please make more videos?
We are still waiting for your game! :)

the ticket titles hit a bit too close to home lol.
@@yourdad1351 and the resolution buttons 🤣
And about 80% of them seem to be from Chip.
"Problem is User" is the most legit button I've ever seen.
The amount of details in these videos on every screen and in each ticket description field is just PURE GOLD 🥇
It's still tragically hilarious to me that there would be a button that essentially acts as a self destruct for all the passwords in the company.
and is right next to the save button

Anyone else get reminded of this video today while dealing with CrowdStike aftermath?

this needs to be a mandatory video for all new employees :)
