Hi Priscilla does it mean Diploma in Community Nurses can’t take the Nclex and also can I use any states board for this process aside my home state if am already in the state

I'm a registered mental health nurse from Ghana currently in the United States ( Rhode Island) is there any exam for me to write to work here as a mental health nurse? . If it's NCLEX, is there a separate exam for mental health nurses? or it's just the NCLEX for the general nurses that I have to write
I think it’s just Nuclei as US don’t specialize on a particular area until after passing the NCLEX then individual can pick area of choice . That’s from what I understand.

I attended a fair for British Colombia and we were told If you pass NCLEX for USA you don’t need to write another one for Canada. It can be used for Canada process.
