North Yorkshire Moors Railway - 2nd April 2024
A first trip out to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway of 2024 and as your ticket is now a yearly pass and I'll be returning for the diesel gala in June I thought Id make the most of it and get in a few extra days on the line whenever I can.
I took the first trip from Pickering on the day as far as Grosmont having decided not to visit Whitby otherwise I'd find myself spending all day there. It then gave me time to visit the depot, film around the station and grab a late breakfast before heading back towards Pickering calling at Goathland and Levisham on the way.
As it was only the red timetable ti did feel like there were some extended times waiting between trains and I think that as it was school holidays maybe they should have been running the gold timetable for this week.

If the gold timetable had been in operation, you might have found it difficult to get clear views. I'm glad you had clear shots of what you wanted. Right up my alley.
