Have done this route a few times, when my children were younger, they loved it on the steam trains, always stopped at Goathland so they could see the Heartbeat locations, and buy souvenirs from the old shop. It was always a good day out, and I always got a kick out of it myself. Very happy memories.

Summer 2017. I did the most stupid thing i could do, I cannot believe I did this. I put my head out of the window to take a photo. smut stuck in my right eye, damage to iris in right eye. It's my own B. fault. My favourite steam railway.
Foxy was only in two shots. I was hoping she'd get more of a look-in than that. Didn't mind the DMU, but you could have left the Deltic out. Deltics are nowhere near as reliable as steam engines. Great video in any case.
My wife bought me a footplate experience on 9f 92214 on the NYMR for my 60th. Absolutely loved it A wonderful preserved line
Top notch!!! excellent footage superbly presented.😊x.

Happy New year x

Another good video👍 I like
BR Blue livery Diesel in the video to with Steam Engine🚂🚃🚃🚃
Superb, well done.
6:45 - The fireman bailing coal into the firebox!
Super film. Have you considered captions to show the locations?
That big black steam engine
is a standard BR Black five locomotive.
Which one, there are a few of big black engines? The one at 29:38 is a black five.
This is a fantastic video. Love the trains and the scenery. Are there any DVDs available of the like? Thanks to anyone who can direct me where to buy.
In June I go for the first time to the Moors and I hope I also see this. I stay a few days in Goathland.
i personally would love to ride on a steam train in the future

Nicely filmed, but would have been better with a voice-over and/or trackside information. Could still be added?
