"Dudes aint in the weightroom and dudes aint doin pushups" as a former football player turned college hooper, this was my biggest advantage. I gave 0 fux about contact. I invited it and it helped me play through a lot of larger, more athletic players.
I keep thinking the inside game is going to come back. I see less and less youth players not liking contact and thinking everything is a fool cause they get bumped or get denied positioning. They dont like to battle inside. When those 3s aint hitting you gotta go inside and get going that way. Coach Hubbard is ahead of his time. Im hoping DJ Burns Jr. makes it into the league.
