Thanks brother, I followed your directions and your right "Anybody can do this". This was not in my wheel house at all but now my wife thinks I'm a rock star for fixing the dryer...lol , Cheers.
Omg we encountered the same problem last night, just found your video today and it was very very helpful. My dryer is up and running like new now, thanks to your video and to my handy Man husband 😊
Thank you for for the video. I had the same issue yesterday and I thought I’d had to get a new dryer! I went out to Canadian wire and got a few things and came back and fix my dryer in less than half an hour! Thank you thank you!!
Hey no problem. I love hearing about another satisfied watcher. I have so many success stories and everyone makes me smile. Thanks for sharing and subscribe!
Thank you sir. Its snowing here in Virginia, and the dryer quit for the 3rd time being something different every time. This time, this issue you spoke of was the problem. I pulled the burned board out and soldered like you mentioned. Back in business with a total turn key job less than 45 minutes. Included the walk to the shop in tje snow storm. That was a challenging part .lol.😅
I love hearing this. This really makes my day hearing success stories. My dryer is still going strong since I fixed mine. You should be good to go for a long time!!
@youneedasteven516 I always like to say thank you to people that help me. If you need any auto mechanic or aviation help, let me know sir. Thanks again hero.
thank you very much. I had to try twice. the first time, I didn't do a good job with the soldering. I watched a video on how to solder and bam I got it. Dryer is working well. It cost me 4 bucks, I had to buy solder. Thank you very much.
Thank you very much for the video I had to do laundry soon and my parents were out of town I found this video I did all the steps and it worked thanks for this video 🙏🏽
Muchas gracias sus consejos están muy bien y tiene buenas ideas muchas gracias. Translated: Thank you so much for your advice they were so good and you have good ideas thank you so much. Continue to do more videos!!!
You fixed the symptom but not the problem. You must replace the relay on the other side of the board. It overheated and generated enough heat to have a micro explosion that blew off the soldered joint on the other side.
You are correct I did replace the relay on the other side and am putting the real problem off till another day. I did my fix almost 2 years ago and it is working perfect. I have had so many success stories since I posted this video. So sometimes the simplest fix is the best solution in my books. Thanks for watching and I hope my video helped!!
No problem, I really like hearing success story that my videos are helping people. My wife was so happy after I fixed mine!! She still thanks me for it..
Thk you so much for your video. I got so excited when found out the exact what you showed and it fixed the problem error code F01. However , the dryer would run for 2 minutes, then showed error F22 and stopped. What should i do now?
I would double check your solder points that you just made to make sure that are solid connections, the F22 is a door latch error code. If after you have checked your solder connections and it still not working. My next move would be to replace the board. And would be much cheaper then buying a new machine. And at this point you already know how to remove and reinstall. I wish you luck and let me know how it goes.
Shoot! I had really high hopes that this would be my fix. Unfortunately my circuit board was not damaged at all. No scorched plastic, not bad solder connection. Any thoughts? Thank you!
So you have the F01 code and no damage at all to your circuit board. I’m not sure what to think. I have had so many success stories shared back with me, but this is a first with no damage to circuit board.
@@MarkenAndSonAdventures yep. I know. Very weird! Thank you for replying. I was really hoping and expecting to see that scorched plastic and black solder point but it’s absolutely fine. 😕 I’m not sure what to try next. Again, I really appreciate you!
@@danmckenna8127 guessing you meant thermostat? 😉 I’ll look into that. It’s been working now for a bit but if history is an indicator, it will happen again. 👍
The red part is just piece of wire I had around. It does not need to be red wire. I just cut a piece of wire I had on hand. Stripped the wire to expose the wire and soldered the wire to the contact point. Very easy to fix. Should maybe take 10 minutes to complete the fix. Good luck and like and subscribe if this helps
If I lay on top of my dryer like you did with yours it would dent it down against the tub and I'd have to listen to it scrape against it for the rest of my life or until I took the top off again and pushed out the dent. I don't recommend laying on the top of your dryer or putting any real weight on the lid at all.
That's not a good way to encourage regular people to handle electrical parts, and you know electricity is no joke. Just because you have experience fixing electrical boards doesn't mean everyone can do it. So please, don't be careless and avoid making videos encouraging people to fix these things themselves.
Did my video help you fix your problem? Read my comments on how many people this video has helped. This is a real easy fix. And anyone can do it that is a little handy.

What size wire did you use to connect it??
I just used a small wire. Doesn’t have to be that thick. Just something to connect the power to all 3 of the connections

My dryer doesn't show an error code but it won't do anything just stays on I checked the lint n its good
Try un plugging the dryer and plugging it back in, Also check your door latch to make sure it is functioning correctly.
MacGyver.
