      Just because u have a risibility doesn't mean u can't wait for the toilet like every one else. According to law the disabled toilet is not just for disabled people but a toilet to be used for everyone but is accessible for disabled people

      "Jerk is a new comedy that follows the life of Tim, a man who knows that having cerebral palsy means that he can get away with almost anything..."
      From the description. It's a joke. He's using his disability as a way to make the guy feel bad.

      I think the point was proven that 1) too many able bodied people are inconsiderate of disabled people. and 2) that disabled people can be jerks too and 3) a video or photograph captures limited moments, so we dont know what happened before or after the video. Maybe he knew him, maybe it was part of a video series ... I'd like to see more like this for another laugh :)

    I don't have any sort of physical disability but I have high key anxiety and I can usually never use a restroom restroom unless it is a private one. However if if my bladder is about to explode and I decide to try a non-private ones (which in a lot of cases I still won't be able to pee), I need the big disability stall to give me some space and help me relax to be able to actually pee. I get claustrophobic and stressed (my anxiety) in the normal sized stalls. I know it is probably wrong of me to take the disability stall but I literally can't pee without out it

    • @mayflower2158

      Why do you need a wider stall just to cath or empty an ostomy bag? I’ve never understood that argument. You are trying to say that they have the same priority as a person in a wheelchair. You can cath in a regular stall, trust me, but no matter how hard you may try, you’ll never get a wheelchair into one.
      And yes, I have decades of experience with this.

    • @linolium4814
      @linolium4814 5 лет назад

      @@pinkmonkeybird2644 Some regular stalls don't have trash bins in them and I personally would not want to put a used ostomy bag or catheter into my bag.

    • @pinkmonkeybird2644
      @pinkmonkeybird2644 5 лет назад +5

      Mik P well I carry a plastic bag with me to transport trash so it’s not an issue. People with ostomies or those who use catheters have to be prepared and carry supplies around, so they’d have an extra bag. Or do you just put a used ostomy bag in the bin without wrapping it in plastic first?
      But that wasn’t my point at all. Obviously, bigger stalls with trash bins are nicer for everyone and we should all have the dignity to relieve ourselves in relative comfort in public spaces. Sure, it would be nice to throw away my used items right then and there, but it’s not 100% necessary. A wheelchair user, no matter how hard he/she may try, simply will not fit that wheelchair into a regular stall, for them access to that handicapped stall is 100% necessary.

    Do.

    Unless it makes you uncomfortable, I would do it though, because the shame would be on the dude who entered the wrong bathroom!
    People should stop, yeah, disabled bathrooms are bigger and more comfortable but imagine that a person who actually NEEDS it doesn’t get it? It’s just like disabled parking (although people do that a lot too) there’s a reasonnnnn!!!
    This prank is savage please just do it

      Problem is you need to know whether the person is disabled or not, not all disabilities are visible - for example people with IBD might use disabled toilets in some circumstances.

    • @gild1684
      @gild1684 5 лет назад

      Technically disabled restrooms are for those who have physical issues... Not for people with autism, deafness or something like this.
      They’re mostly for wheelchairs users or any other physical assistance users..

    • @25109954
      @25109954 5 лет назад

      @@gild1684 IBD is a physical disability. The problem is that you can't necessarily tell whether someone has it by looking at them. You'll find that some disabled toilets are providing clarification on their signs these days in order to correct that perception that they're only for wheelchair users etc... If they were only for wheelchair users then IBD patients wouldn't be issued radar keys for the disabled toilets : www.crohnsandcolitis.org.uk/get-involved/become-a-member/member-benefits/radar-key

  • @mayflower2158

    Sadly I can't like this because this sort of thing is exactly why people with hidden disabilities get abused.
    How is it not possible that the man who went in could have had a disability? He could have had a colostomy bag underneath that shirt of his, leaking.
    Yes, I'm aware that isn't the case in this video but in reality it could very well be.
    We must stop this stereotyping so we can finally include everyone in the disability community & stop making people feel they have to prove they are disabled.

      Basically its a prank. People with no disabilities always use the Disabled toilets even though there are multiple toilets in the mens/womens room. There is normally only 1 disabled toilet. Which means the people that truly need them have to wait for a toilet even though the normal bathrooms are free.
      Uts happened to me on multiple occasions. One resently, i was at the Hospital there was 2 disabled toilets and a man webt into one and a women went into the other even though the mens and womens bathrooms were right next to them i had to wait to go to the toilet. So i explained to them where the normal toilets were. All i got was didn't see them. Also Disabled bathroom are shared with baby changing in some small businesses which i dont mind but that then means its making parents with babies and the disabled wait. At a college i was at this happen all the time because the disabled was closest to the reception/Cafè so everyone would use it instead of walking to the normal toilets. Its does take the piss as most places have from 2 upwards for normal toilets with stalls and 1 disabled toilet. My new college put a lock on the Disabled toilets because they were getting misused and damaged x
