    if i was a ceo of a major cruise line you would definitely be a cruise director or the person that trains and deals with the day to day operations of the crew...you are priceless.

    I remember when I worked at Disney and I was assigned a roommate there. We got along, but that was all I can say about it. We didn't hate each other, we didn't fight, but we didn't like each other either. We just got along.
    It can be a tough one.

    Thank you for your videos! I love them. I would love to see a video about going back to work expectations and lines receiving (or not) new applications for crew members. I know we have little information about what's happening next and how, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.

    The things about friends is true for other things too. I am chronically sick, and in and out of hospital, and my days are filled of medical appointments, medication times, and rest. When I first got sick many where there, now years in, most people are not. I have some very close friends online and I so appreciate them. I am also invited in a big birthday next month. I can’t travel, but they are getting a beautiful gift, and I will use my little extra energy tomorrow actually to make a scrapbook card to them with the gift. Just getting the invite is so touching 🥰
    Peoples life is going on. Relationship develop, and that is normal. I try to follow up online at least, but I don’t have the energy for a lot more than that. When I do I love to be with people that know, so I can get some time off, not focus on my health and a long evening with different people trying to care and want details. I don’t mean that in a bad way, but I want to use my better days to have focus on good things.
    Thank you for sharing, love from Johanne, Norway 🇳🇴

      Video 💡idea " Ten things guest did for me that made my day! "
      I imagine the first three are $, kind notes to your supervisor about you and genuin kindness... we realize those r important and we do them... please include them w stories in your video and PLEASE ADD OTHER 💡ideas... my kids enjoy 😉doing little things for those crew members who are kind to them ... u know "Acts of service or gift giving" on each cruise they try to have a small suit case full of candy 🍬and treats, cards and so on to give to staff ...we are starting to get board w r usual stash and r looking for new ideas. We CAN NOT wait to get back to causing. We miss it so much. We had the courage to go to Disney for 2 weeks in February and felt TOTALLY safe!!!

    Hello, if the employee is feeling sick, who should he/she talk to before going directly to the doctor? In my case, I am going to the bar as a bar server. I know it is a lot of work and too many hours standing. Should I go to the head bartender, ass manager, or go to the doctor first?

    Appreciate these videos sm!! One question- do you need a specific type of work experience or qualifications, certificates or are there particularly any courses you must do in college that they look for in a person wanting to become a Crew member?

    • @CruisingAsCrew
      @CruisingAsCrew  3 года назад

      Hey babe, no there isnt a particular qualification you need.
      The only thing they look for is customer service experience. Obviously ship is a hotel at the end of the day so any experience in that field will be helpful. X

    • @CruisingAsCrew
      @CruisingAsCrew  3 года назад

      Hi there, thanks so much! I dont know the actual answer but my guess would be because if people are swimming, the ship is probably in a hot country so theoretically the sun would hear the pool. Hope that helps! X

    • @arfriedman4577
      @arfriedman4577 2 года назад +1

      It cost money for heated pol equipment and the weight of the equipment. It costs money to heat pool.

      @@arfriedman4577 Hi they heaters for the hot tub’s so they already have the equipment so heat the pools

    • @arfriedman4577
      @arfriedman4577 2 года назад

      @@danielgerris1999 the hot tub heater is only rated for those gallons of water, not more gallons of water the pool has too. The pool would need a separate heater the costs money and weight. Also more electricity to run.
