always go second and use kaijus / lighting storm to get rid of interruptions or negates and backrow also you can use eyes restrict to stop hand traps and monster negates.. it's not a meta deck and expect to brick sometimes of course and don't expect to win every game you play but it was somewhat consistent and the best you can do for a pure anime deck until we get new support and it's very satisfying to equip all meta cards to eyes restrict 😂😂.. If you want you can try kashtira, purrely, labrynth or whatever meta konami releases if you are looking for consistency and wins
I'm making serious progress on a Witchcrafter/Relinquished deck atm. I've run a deck kinda like Atem's before, but this one is more focused around negates and protecting spellcasters!! Plus, you can make Quintet magician with ease
Had to share an update: I built the deck. Well, a deck. Couldn't find room for the Branded, but Relinquished Tear is kinda wild. Only got a couple Ranked games in so far, but definitely no one was expecting it. Be in touch with a list next time i'm on MD, if anyone's interested
Update 2: Tl:dr: No decklist yet, but engine theory and overall deck performance ahead: First, Relinquished is incredibly consistent. There's quite a few options to search out whatever piece you need, and Milliennium-Eyes Illusionist, well, it's absolutely cracked. Spright Elf approved. Diviner of the Herald send Herald of the Arc Light was also the perfect "normal summon" line for the deck (still debating on 2 or 3 Diviners, tho. But more is better). Also, Relinquished's Fusion spell is cracked, and it pairs very well with milling. That said, Relinquished's huge flaw is what monster your opponents use, when they use then, and how many they use. What good is summoning 3 or 4 Restricts + recycling the "hand trap" to nab more monsters, when your opponent T-set-Passed? Still, when it works, it's beautiful. Secondly, Tear is wild, occasionally. Really only a supplementary engine left these days, and absolutely missing Merrli. Definitely nowhere near it's former glory. Thirdly, Kashtira. Hooboy, Kashtira. So, i'll just lay out my engine, see what y'all think: Main context/idea of the list: Ancient Fairy Dragon. So. 1x each of Kash's and Tear's Field spell, 0-3x Chicken Game (or other Field Spell of choice) 1x each of Kashtira Fenrir, Unicorn, Tearlament, and Birth. And that's it. So 3 monsters, and 3-6 Spells, plus whatever method of summoning Ancient Fairy Dragon. No xyz lock, kinda wonky opening Fenrir, but searching it off the Field into KashTear is too good. Completes the loop, guaranteeing a summon with each field spell. Also, Kash didn't do much for Relinquished directly, outside of the 1x KashTear mills. But a monster resource engine is what it is. Notable line would be Diviner of the Herald, send Arc Light, search a Relinquished/Black Illusion Ritual, or for every other deck, search Illusion of Chaos to search + summon Magicians' Souls to synchro with that lvl 6 Diviner to make Ancient Fairy Dragon. Also, to know if your deck could/should run Diviner of the Herald: Shoutouts to the Main Deck Fairy Fusion substitute, Goddess with the Third Eye for the Fusion strats, as well as the Banish-to-Summon fuelbox Chaos Valkyrie for the Bystial + Chaos strats. Plus Diviner's flexible Tuning on its own.. And all those strats can use Magicians Souls + Illusion of Chaos, to make Diviner a 1-card Ancient Fairy Dragon. Even if you need your normal summon, Diviner can fit if Spright Elf is available elsewhere, and if Diviner can be sent to Grave regularly. I genuinely think everybody but floo and Monarch, and then everybody besides those who can't afford 2-3 Extra Deck slots should be on Diviner, and Diviner should be paired with that above 6-9 card Kash package + Magicians' Souls and Ancient Fairy Dragon. Give it time. Fourthly, bit of a bonus engine, Ultimate Slayer is cracked. It's a starter as removal, And it's good vs Cats and Kash. EDIT: NO IT IS NOT GOOD VS CATS, so Kurikara Divincarnate and/or XYZ Encore, I guess Ultimate Slayer's uses in Relinquished (and any deck with the 4 Extra deck slots, and maybe also a need for ritual material or synchros in grave that can't be summoned): 1 Synchros) Send Herald of the Arc Light (also not once-per turn, btw), Shuffle opponent's Baronne or Chaos Angel, search a Relinquished (main starter option with US in the deck), 2 Fusions) Send Garura, shuffle Grapha/Mirrorjade/(is Tear relevant?), draw a card, 3 XYZ) Send Mereologic Aggregator, negate an extra monster. Edit: again, doesn't work vs Noir, so not as perfect a card as i thought. 4 Link) Send any link, shuffle Elf/Masq/Avra/Goddess, and best case(?), draw a card. (Tribrig's link 2 is an SR that cycles a card in hand, and their link 5 is a UR that can send Garura to draw a card, but Relinquished has room for some good link climbs already. So the Extra Deck slot isn't necessary for Ultimate Slayer targeting a link, but the extra card advantage is amost always a good option, so Tribrig Link 5 is recommended) Ultimate Slayer is also searchable off Triple T Thrust (which can also search Rites for Relinquished, basically another half-starter/half-extender). Foolish Burisl Goods is a notably secondary, but i was feeling the lack of Ultimate Slayer's removal. US isn't once per turn anyway, so multiple copies is fine. FBG is definitely better Turn 1 though. So yea, that's the engines that've been brewing. Any thoughts are welcome, as is any "borrowing" :)
Update 4th (and final?): the KashTearening. Through this whole process, I settled on one doozy of a generic engine for Kash + Tear. Kinda mentioned it in the earlier comment, but i wanted to emphasize this engine, and bring up a couple more generic options. "Mandatory" cards: 1x Kashtira Fenrir 1x Kashtira Unicorn 1x Tearlaments Kashtira 1x Kashtira Birth 1x Pressured Planet Wraitsoth (Kash Field) 1x Primeval Planet Perlereino (Tear Field) 6 cards so far in the Main, with 1 card in the Extra. Alone right there, the cards are about as densly packed with potential as can be. Next highest priority is also mandatory, but nonspecific: summoning Ancient Fairy Dragon. I'm a fan of Diviner of the Herald, since it's an easy 1-card combo to AFD, while giving access to Magicians Souls' and Herald of the Arc Light's searches. But Destrudo works well too. As does a Bystial or Blue-Eyes + a lvl 1 Tuner. Whatever suits. Yet for this example engine, 3x Diviner of the Herald, and 1x each of Magicians Souls and Illusion of Chaos, to add to the 6 core engine, for a running total of 11 cards in the Main Deck, and 2 in the Extra. Third priorty is cards like Chicken Game, and other Field Spell strats, as well as further Kash or Tear investment. 2x Tearlaments Scheiren and 1x Havnis go a long way, where opening Perlereino and Tearlaments Kash would be a poor hand without them available. Benefits more generically than further Kashtira investment would, but it's still easy to adjust for whatever strategy. Also, i gotta mention Ritual Sanctuary being a good Field for Diviner, especially with Thrust targets being so prevalent. Still would suggest 3x Chicken Game first. After that, whatever fits in the deck. I decided to test Arc Light + Spright Elf + Diviner + Ishizu shufflers, for once per turn ritual searches. Been some highly consistent Blue-Eyes Chaos Dragons, with only 1x each the dragon and Chaos Form. The possibilities are really endless. Hope someone has fun with it

The first idiot (typical of Lab) used Welcome as chain link 1, then Big Welcome as chain link 2, which is WRONG. Switch the order, you get Lovely out, then Big Welcome for Lady, Ariana back to the hand, then Lovely destroys a card in their opponent's (your) hand. Same exact board, but 1 less card in the opponent's hand. They could've survived, since you needed your entire hand to win.
Question, I’ve been running a restrict deck and noticed if you add an Idol or Illusionist to hand with Sangan you don’t get to use their effect of either one. This seems to be a bug?
I think you are overusing or should I say misuing the effect of Millennium Eyes. When Millennium Eyes absorbed a monster, the effects of the cards with same name is also negated so you don't have to absorb the card with the same name.
Is it actually Inportant to have those two Kaijus in the deck. Like Radian and Jizukiru. Cuz I thoughg you could replace any Kaiju that is very strong Just a Thought lol
Completely different purposes. Lightning Storm is a spell card that either destroys all traps/spells or all attacks position monsters. Ash is a handtrap that prevents sending a card to the gy, searching a card from the deck or special summon from the deck, so each one serves for differente means. If you struggle to obtian materials for crafting cards and so, you can play solo mode, obtaining lots of gems and legacy tickets.
I'm guessing the extra deck is full of fluff? Anything important in there other than anima/eyes-restrict? Also, surprised there's no thousand-eyes either. Gonna try this one later, as I recently found what remains of my old irl deck that used thousand eyes, and the nostalgia hit hard. Haven't found anything this effective with my own toying around though.
Probably some Knightmare cards to spin stuff. When the illusion cards come to Master duel (probably 3-4 months), relinquished will have some serious power!! Check them out, they're a new type of monster (like warrior, dragon, spellcaster, etc.)!!!!
I would say the Slacker -> Downered -> Zeus is pretty nice. You could end up with a 4 material Zeus which is strong enough to win on it's own at times. It's not exactly Relinquished but it is certainly a good "oh shit" option when relinquish can't cut it.
How useful would you say Slacker magician is compared to Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale? Slacker can negate targeting effects on itself while on the other hand lyrilusc can protect itself from destruction and battle damage.
slacker is just there to cheat out downerd magician or summon zeus... personally, i would drop slacker, nightmare shark and downerd for 1 nightingale and 1 fortune tune, all these is just for zues... and the last one can be another copy of millennium eyes or anima. it's very likely OP just use whatever card he has for extra deck since it can certainly be optimize more.
@@NecroCh i have this deck half build myself, from what i been play testing so far, tour guide and anima is importance... tour guide + sangan is your main combo to the rest anima is your backup if you couldnt get relinqush or millennium eyes out.. i'm also considering playing at least 2 interrupted kaiju slumber... unfortunately, i dont have tour guide, anima and interrupted kaiju slumber myself, so i cant really see how to optimize this deck properly since that require a lot of play testing.
Amazing deck man,easy to make is not that expensive but your extra deck is kinda way too much. From what I can see you just need a couple of this cards not other ones. Like the Anaconda, FusionRelinquished and that's it. So man why you need all of this extra deck ?? My opinion you don't need them you just need 3-4 of them.

unfortunately, i dont have tour guide, anima and interrupted kaiju slumber myself, so i cant really see how to optimize this deck properly since that require a lot of play testing.

If Tour Guide was not UR I would already have this deck 😭 The UR tax on older decks makes no sense if you ask me
It's why I quit this game early. It's way too grindy if you want to build new decks. The existing fan options are much better for that, imo.

Amazing deck man,easy to make is not that expensive but your extra deck is kinda way too much. From what I can see you just need a couple of this cards not other ones. Like the Anaconda, FusionRelinquished and that's it. So man why you need all of this extra deck ?? My opinion you don't need them you just need 3-4 of them.
There's a lot of ways to get your cards banished out by the opponents effect (Aegion the Sea Castrum my favorite does this very well
